Called in advance with questions about inspecting my car to drive for Uber and the gentleman on the phone was clear and polite. I walked in 30 mins before they closed, was taken care of right away, and the inspection was quick and easy. I was done in about 10 mins. Thanks for the good service!

I absolutely do not recommend this to anyone they sold me 175/65r15 instead of 175/55r15 with 287dollar for only one tire. Then i came back he said i have to buy all over again and there is no refund for the tire and i payed twice for same tire 118 dollar so one tire cost me 405 dollar. He could have do his job better if you are a professional you can notice the tire is not same as all 3 tires and it’s stupid to put one different dimension to cause problems to the car and my safety he even wanted to keep the tire i bought yesterday and telling me i paid for the change omg this is so crazy an unreal!!! I am very disappointed and angry about all of that there is no customer service there !! they take your money and thats it

Tried to charge me about 1000 bucks for brakes and other things that had nothing to do with what was wrong with my car. They claimed my brakes hadnt been changed in at least 5 years (had them done twice in the last 4 years). The Real Issue: I need new tires (confirmed by 2 other mechanics after I left this place) Do not waste your time going to this place.

I wish I could give 0 stars. They did work on my vehicle and it wasn’t the work I needed done. They fixed a ball joint instead of my brakes and I was told yesterday that my vehicle was unsafe to be on the road after work done here. I called to express concern and was told “We don’t care what another mechanic has to say!”’ Very unprofessional!

It started 2-3 ago I had been recommended to Midas for work on my vehicle great customer service no issues in and out got my brakes and rotors done both front and rear. A few weeks later my caliper and hose goes out on my back left tire normal as I know it’s a preventative maintenance that was coming already I get that fixed they midas exactly on 5-1-24 after that my brake pedal had not been the same my brake pedal sounds like there is built up air and sounds like it was not bled my pedal goes way to the floor and I have not had time to go in due to work. It just sucks because both my rotor and caliper are rusted and it’s only been 2 months since I got my rotor and brake changed and my caliper last month. and I’m not sure what to do now my wheel is squeaking very loudly which it has never before. Edit: they claimed they wanted to contact and reach out but I never got any response after following their instructions also have left a voicemail still nothing.

UPDATE: The shop saw this review and called me. They then spend 15 minutes berating me, calling me slurs, telling me I am "not a man", and other ridiculous things. Apparently it's a man's job to take care of the car and I'm a bad partner for making my female partner do it. That's what Midas said at least. So if you are a female I would definitely avoid this place, in fact I would argue that you are not even safe taking your car here. Gene if you want to call back and yell at me more I'm here whenever! I'll file a police report next time though. These guys are scammers. Charged 1000 bucks for front brakes. I said for all 4 and they said oh yeah! No problem! Quoted 1000. Then when I got it back they said don't worry about the back. Didn't hit me until I drove off and looked at the receipt that they only did 2 and charged 1000 anyway. Literally should be illegal. Absolutely avoid these guys they are scammers they will lie to you and steal from you.

I attempted to book an appointment online, and it stated that the appointment was not yet confirmed. When I called to schedule, they provided me with an appointment, but upon arriving on time, I was informed of a 4-hour delay. It would have been appreciated if they had called to inform me about the delay. I won't be returning to avoid wasting my time again.

I came here after the first Midas in Lincolnwood didnt have a technician available to look at my steering console after a break in, thinking these mechanics are pretty cool. I still stand by the mechanics here being knowledgeable, patient with your questions, and telling you what's up for real with the parts needed and stuff. They're the best part of this business. Homeboy at the front desk with the muscles and white hair however talks to you in a rushed manner, quoting how swamped they are and not to waste his time if you're not gonna order parts or get the car fixed by them. If you're swamped, tell me you can't do the diagnostic instead of taking my car and then talking to me like I'M stupid when I tell you the quote is too high at the moment. That's why it was a quote, WE verified it together. I don't know his name because he didn't have a business card, but he wasn't even the fckn manager. Bro, the receptionist talked to me like I was stupid for wanting a quote. So if you can get past the first boss, the mechanics are fantastic, never had any issues with the work they've done.

I had to stop in because my car was having trouble turning on and my brakes had also been making a weird sound for a while. They explained the issues to me in a way that made me feel very well informed. They serviced my car quickly, and the work was very well done. I highly recommend this shop. It is top-notch!

my regular oil change service center was backed up, I called and spoke to Gene on the phone and got in in a crunch. He was very nice although the service took way longer than expected and from what was estimated/told. Additionally, I had several issues after my service that Gene quickly addressed and/or rectified. I would recommend to ask for a print out of your pricing breakdown prior to servicing your vehicle so you aren’t in for my surprises. I will also say the guy in the shop doing the work was very kind (I wish I knew his name) and listened to concerns and took initiative.

I've been coming to this shop since 2019 and the service I receive is nothing short of excellent, every single time. The staff is kind and professional; the waiting area is well kempt; and the owner is dedicated to providing the best experience for every customer who walks through the doors.
