My experience at the Alta Mere location was horrible, they did a diagnostic to find out why the service light was on come to find out it was the master air sensor that needed to be replaced, I advised them there was an oil leak and instead of them doing a thorough diagnostic they didn’t and charged me $666 to change a sensor after it was replaced service light was still on and my car was smoking( never smoked until after they did the work), brought it back and were told the master air sensor would need to be replaced again due to the oil issue, but they should have told me that in the first place and gave me the option to wanna still get the done but instead they took the $$$ and wasn’t honest or thorough upfront! They got over on me and that’s wrong!!! Never Again!!!! They should be ashamed of themselves!!!!!

I was super blessed to find these guys when I moved to Texas. I WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE. They take great care of me everytime. I'm a gig driver and I put my car through a lot. They keep me on the road,which keeps the money flowing. They will go above and beyond for you. They have for me, several times.

Long post but I believe it is required to demonstrate the incompetence, ethical, and moral failures of the manager and owner named Roy. I have been going to get my oil changed here since I moved close by several years ago. I went in to get my tires balanced and the technician went inside to inform that he couldn't do so to the owner. The owner automatically told me it couldn't be done due to me having aftermarket rims, to which I do not. When the technician informed, he had already taken off the weights the owner told me I could just go somewhere else to get them. Having your weights totally off on just one rim is a safety issue and would cause horrible handling. When I pressed the issue, I found out it could not be done due to them not having the proper tools. My issue is that Roy's first response was not for my wellbeing and safety but rather out of his own convenience to just send me away. I had to go down the street and await another hour at another shop to get my wheels balanced. All in all, the whole experience took me 3.5 hours and totally ruined my day. All I can do as a consumer is take my business elsewhere and inform others of my experience in a hope that others do not experience the same pain and delays, I had to.

I do have to preface that this was my experience thru someone who got work done there, just today, and what this person told me about what happened. Now, the right call was probably made about getting a control arm and bushing (some other things happening with car). But when they were taking the tire off to be able to repair stuff referenced above, they broke the lug nuts? Something as simple as a lug nut???!!! Seriously? This makes me extremely unhappy because I worked on this car personally (just the day before this post), and the lug nuts were just fine, absolutely nothing wrong. And they probably charge like $20 a nut. Completely unprofessional and a rip-off. Honestly, thinking about the "you break it, you bought it" phrase here. They should give those lug nuts for free.

I love this Midas location. I no longer live in the area anymore and i drove 2 hours just to get serviced by these guys. Ray and Eddie are so nice and understanding and prices are reasonable! I take my 1946 Chevrolet to have all of my work done. This is a high value car and they treat it that way. Their technicians are some of the best in the DFW area. I have been going there for a long time because they do great work at a fair price and they stand behind their work. I trust this business to do all of my hot rod maintenance.

I went to Midas for an oil and filter change and to have my tires rotated. When my minivan was up on the lift I was correctly advised to only rotate the driver's side tires to keep the best tires on the front as my car is front wheel drive and swapping out the tires on that side and balancing the one that needed balanced corrected the vibration I was experiencing. They fixed what needed to be fixed and I am very happy with the service. I will be returning to them for future auto repair when needed. It's nice to find an auto repair shop that I can trust. Good job fellas.

I've used Midas for oil changes for a long time. My car needs full synthetic oil & Midas consistently offers a great value. Today, I was in & out in under 30 minutes. The whole process, from scheduling to completion was friendly & easy. No pressure. I highly recommend!

Ray Harris and his team at MIDAS Auto Service Center on Alta Mere provides premium automotive service AND equally premium quality customer service. In less than 3 hours they had successfully fixed a major electrical issue on my truck that the service center at the GMC dealership down the road had tried to fix but claimed they could not figure out, and they had tried three (3) times, each time keeping my truck for multiple days. Type of issue that was throwing codes preventing a passing state inspection and causing some scary dangerous driving situations when various systems on truck would randomly shutdown and lockup while driving. Dealership nearby down the road = FAIL MIDAS on Alta Mere = Win, WIN, WIN!!! Thank you, MIDAS on Alta Mere! Thank you, Ray!!!
