went in for an oil change and the mechanic cracked something in the car after trying multiple times and now all oil leaked out and had to have my car towed, they are ducking the accountability of the issue and now im going to have to pay a real mechanic for repairs, BAD BUSINESS ALL AROUND!

I went here for a brake inspection on my 2021 Tucson. I had gotten 3 different evaluations and estimates for the work and wasn't sure which one was correct. Service writer Michele and mechanic Troy were friendly and professional. What Troy told me matched what the dealer had said so that's the work I had done. Price was better than the dealer and the work was completed in an hour and half, instead of all day at the dealer. I will be going back to this Midas location for future work. Great experience!

There are hundreds of Midas across the country. What separates your Midas from the others???? Customer Service! The Midas in North Houston I gave a review of 5 stars. I didn't get my car until I complained. The Management needs to learn what separates his store from hundreds of other oil change companies. I will take my business elsewhere.

I am writing this review out of sheer frustration after the completely unacceptable experience I had at Midas on Post Oak. I am appalled by the way the male manager, Troy on duty, handled my request for a battery replacement under warranty. I purchased a battery from them on Aug. 26, 2021, with the assurance that it was covered under a 5 year warranty should anything go wrong. Unfortunately, the battery failed on Aug. 23, 2024, so I returned with my warranty information, expecting them to honor the warranty agreement. Instead, I was met with blatant refusal to replace the battery, even though I had the necessary battery purchase paperwork in hand. The disrespect I experienced from manager Troy was infuriating. Troy was condescending, rude, and downright dismissive. Troy didn't take the time to listen to me. I tried to address my concern with Michelle, but Troy constantly interrupted me, and seemed more interested in arguing than resolving the issue. I subsequently left my old battery at Midas. Not only did Troy refuse to honor the battery warranty without any valid explanation, but his entire demeanor was insulting. I do not appreciate being treated as if I’m stupid when I clearly had all the documentation proving my battery purchase. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, and I am disgusted by how Midas treats paying customers. Troy’s lack of professionalism and outright rudeness should not be tolerated in any business that values customer service. I will be reporting Midas to consumer protection agencies. Update Oct. 22, 2024: I contacted Midas at https://www.midas.com/aboutmidas/contactus/tabid/167/default.aspx and provided my contact information. As of today, no one has reached out to me.

I typically read reviews before scheduling service with a new company. For some reason, I didn't with Midas, Post Oak. Midas is nationally known and the Post Oak shop nearby. Wish I had read the reviews. The manager and lady at the front were very courteous. I thanked the lady for getting donuts & kolaches for everyone as there were 3 little children there. My expected wait was 1hour to 1.5 hours; however, it took 2 hours. My visit was for a wheel/tire alignment, oil change and to check all the tires for upcoming trip. First, the lady (didn't get her name) told me the mechanic gave my 2021 Toyota Corolla as having 79,000 miles. First error - only 29,000. Then, she continued that my 2 back tires had 6 inch thread and would need replacing soon. Second error - they were new and the reason I was there. The tire place said they didn't do wheel/tire alignments. I stressed the importance of the work being done as the car would be driven 10 hours end of the week. Third error- the lady said the wait was due to having to start over on the wheel alignment as it wasn't done properly. I asked the mechanic if the tires were tight and was told the manager checked everything. Well, too many errors for me so I called the Toyota Dealership to check the vehicle. When I drove up & asked about the wheel alignment, the service representative showed me on an iPad there had not been a wheel alignment done on my car. They also shared a video of the oil overflowing due to being too full which it had leaked onto the car which could have caused the car to smoke. I did get the A/C filters changed which was the 1 thing Midas said was needed but I told them "No". I get home and look at the reviews and to my dismay I saw all of the instances of poor and shoddy work. I debated about calling the shop but decided to at least let the Manager know my disappointment and what the dealership told me which as you know cost me a fortune. I paid about $150 at Midas and another $300+ at the dealership and I'm a Senior Citizen on a fixed income looking for work. The Midas Manager who I trusted became defensive so I hung up. I'm now exploring my next steps. This is the first to share with others so you won't have a similar experience.

2 days after getting my oil change my car broke down. And funny thing when I went up there to get a oil change the kept insisting on getting extra work on my car . My car was working fine till I brought here. Never in my life will i ever bring any vehicle here

My friend went here to get some work done including getting new struts on her car front and back and she paid $3,900.00 only to leave with no work done and her wheel came off of the car and she had a car accident. Do not I repeat do not take your car to these scammers! My friend will be forever traumatized by the events that lead up to her tire coming off of her car while on 59 going the speed limit. Midas should fire every person there and close down! Here is the photos of her car after leaving and paying Midas to do work on her car. She was also wounded in the car accident. Corporate need to see this asap!

I came in today for just an oil change and my experience was absolutely delightful at this location. I was treated with gratitude and attentive care with myself and car. The manager Tory was very helpful and really extended the services to make sure all your need are begin meet. My courtesy check was very detailed pertaining to my cars current problems. I even received information on my struts, alignment, and the overheating of my car. I was very pleased with the service I received today. I will continue to conduct business with this location.

The store manager Mr Troy and his team are amazing! My battery gave up on me next door and they came with me to jump my car in the rain. They were so professional and patient. I highly recommend this location.

Today, I decided to try this Midas location and am very happy I did. Service was excellent and quick! At the old Midas location I went to there usually was wait time. Here I walked in and was able to get an oil change immediately. Thank You for the oil change and service! I will definitely be returning to this location.

Troy and Michele are amazing. My car broke down the day I was supposed to leave town for an important work engagement. They got me in lightening quick and knew what was going on with my car immediately. Not only did they take the time to explain what was wrong, but they called the shop that incorrectly fixed my truck to explain to them what they did wrong and the possible issues a customer could encounter by doing it that way. This was the most professional Midas I have ever been to. Accommodating, straight forward, fast, and truly saved me today. I am grateful for Troy and Michele! Thanks to them I am back on the road SAFELY.
