I had bring my car here for fluid service, they also gave me a diagnostic for small leaking on water pump needed water pump replacement, took my car to dealer which I have a friend is mechanic, he telling me my water pump is totally fine, they tried to sell me, I am so upset because I already bought the part from Toyota and just wasted my day off, please customer beware!! Specially if you are a female !!!

I made an oil change reservation and came to the store on 11/08. However, the store did not have my reservation. The staff proceeded with my request for an oil change instead of saying that your reservation is not found. Anayway, the oil chang work finished, and I was surprised that the staff told that the cost is $88 because I made a reservation of traditional oil change ($24.99) and the staff did not inform me in advance regarding the estimate. In summary, this store selected full synthetic oil without my approval and any notification before work. Second, even though I receive a confirmation email of my reservation, there was no record of it in the policy based on the staff's comments. I had to pay an unexpected cost for the oil change.

I went into Midas for a brake check and ended up almost losing my life because of it. I went in to Midas because my brake light came on...They took my front tire off to check these brakes. Then told me that I needed the following work done, I didn’t have the money at that time so I told them I’d be back. When I was leaving they told me that when I get in my car I should hear a clicking sound from my wheels and it is normal. Yesterday I was driving and my entire front tire came off while I was in traffic. I could’ve DIED if I didn’t think quickly. I received help and got a tow home. Now Midas isn’t taking responsibility for my near death experience when they were the ones who touched my tires last. My mom got on the phone with the manager and he told her that I had custom tires and custom spacers or whatever. None of this was said at my visit. The tire could only come off if the lugs weren’t screwed on correctly. He claimed one of the lugs were already messed up, WELL if that was true I’m pretty sure it would’ve been brought up in some type of taxable charge. I’m happy I didn’t die due to the negligence of Midas.

I was stranded for hours waiting for a tow truck to arrive so I can take it to get it serviced, however they never showed up, so I took matters into my own hands and this Midas showed exemplary customer service and care. I had two flat tires due to a pothole. I replaced one with my spare and the other I brought here to get it replaced, before I left though I was told to come back since they had a tire waiting for me, despite them closing soon! So after I got my car tire replaced I came straight back and had them replace my other tire so I wouldn’t be driving with my spare. Although I had a bad start to the day, Midas made my day better with their services by extending a helping hand and getting my car fixed up. I highly recommend this location.

Service has gone down hill. Dan serviced me around June 2024 and said he offered me a roadside warranty on the tire I purchased, which he didn’t. I bought 3 of 4 tires there in 2021 and had to get one of the tires replaced in June 2024. When I came to see if the tire I needed replaced was a tire I purchased there. Well, Dan mistakenly replaced the tire that didn’t come from Midas, and a few hours later, he called me in panic because he was going to get in trouble with his manager since the tire he replaced didn’t come from Midas. He asked if I could go in and pay for the tire, which I came the next day to pay for, thinking everything was included since he didn’t ask if I needed the warranty for the tire. He apologized for the confusion and for me having to drive an hour back there to pay for a tire, and not once did he mention anything about a warranty. It is October 2024, and the tire I bought in June has wires sticking out. I called to see if I could bring it in and was told I hadn’t purchased a warranty. He also lied, said he remembered me, and knew he offered me a warranty because he does with all his customers. Not only that, but I also asked to speak to the manager and was placed on hold, just for him to hang up in my face TWICE. I am officially done with Midas, and I will let everyone know my experience! You’ve lost a valuable customer since 2020!!!!

Dan (who has been at front desk the last four times I've been) is always professional, courteous, and caring. It is such a relief to find someone who genuinely wants to do the right thing by people. This team always treats my car and me well. They've made a lifelong customer.

I came to leave a great review on this location and I seen the negative review Nuchu and Eyob. They are husband and wife. Me and my family were there during this incident. The man came in and said he wanted a oil change because his car was over heating. The rep behind the counter explained that a oil change would not fix a over heating problem and that he may have another issue going on. A fee minutes later the rep asked the customer to come out into the shop with him so he could shoe him his car. They came back in and the rep was explaining about how the broken heater hose on that vehicle is common and the he recommends replacing both sets of heater hose assemblies and the thermostat and housing because the vehicle over heated and that the thermostat might stick because of the over heating. The customer asked for the price. The rep president the customer with a price and even told the customer that he didn't have to do the thermostat it was just suggested because the vehicle overheated. The customer told him to do it all. The rep verified with the customer and asked if he did want the thermostat and the customer said yes. The rep said " so you want to do it all" and the customer said yes. I was impressed by how the rep gave the customer the options and did force the customer to do everything. Then when the customers vehicle was done and the rep went to close the invoice the customer said he didn't have that kind of money. I hear the rep give the man the price on what it was going to cost. The customer refused to pay. The wife was not even there in the beginning of all of this she came there after the work was done on the car. I did hear the customer say that he thought the cost for everything was 70.00. Which did make sense because he was told in the beginning that the oil change alone was 80 something dollars. I can not believe that there are people like this trying to get repairs done and not pay for it. This shop explained everything to me even took me out in the shop and showed me what was wrong with my car. Showed me a detailed estimate on what it was going to cost to fix my car. The rep was very knowledgeable and help us understand what was wrong with our car and why some of the repairs needed to be done. So people please ignore the negative reviews by the husband and wife. I believe that they were out to scam their way to get repairs done for free. This location is very honest and very fair priced. I did check around on the cost of my repairs and they were either on point with other shops and even a lot lower than a fee in the area. May God bless these guys they didn't deserve the negative reviews by these 2.

If I could give zero stars to say what this place did I would. They're very unprofessional, they took a perfectly fine car for an oil change but they cut through the thermostat poured oil on the car and came to me with and outrageous price. This is beyond a joke. I would not recommend to go there at all if you want to keep your money and sanity.

Please I’m not recommend you this place to take your car for any service,the owner which is the manager and mechanic are very stupid I took my car for oil change and they intentionally cut my car thermostat if I fix on another place it only cost me 200 including oil change but they charge me 1700 which is nonsense

This review is in response to Eyob Hagos and Nuchu Haile. I have been coming here for years and they always do good work at a fair price. I was waiting in the lobby while they repaired my vehicle and witnessed what happened with their transaction. What they posted was completely false. The owner of the vehicle came in and requested an oil change because his vehicle was overheating. The man behind the counter told him that an oil change would not fix his overheating problem. The owner of the vehicle agreed to have them check out the overheating issue. The man behind the counter came in and gave him a written estimate for a thermostat and a few other items that were needed to fix his vehicle. The man told them to fix the vehicle. After the repairs were completed, the husband and wife (??) started to say that wasn't the correct price (even though they were given a written estimate). After all of the drama that ensued, I am very surprised that the worker behind the counter stayed so composed, because I know I wouldn't have. They were getting on my nerves and I was just a bystander.

Dependable and reasonable. It is tough nowadays to find the above combination. Eric and Dan are very knowledgeable and will not push you to do unnecessary repairs. I take both my cars there for everything from oil changes to full on repairs. Highly recommend.

Quick service: state safety inspection, oil, filter, tire change. Dan and all very courteous and professional. Almost 1/2 price nearby shop (I'll not mention name; on Kirby n Holcombe) and quicker service, and you actually speak to the mechanic! My go to place now Holcombe area.

Gotta give credit where credit is due... My cars steering was all over the place after I installed new struts, I was afraid to drive it bcuz of how much play the steering had ... So I took it to Midas to get an alignment, and I tell u ... Driving home I just kept thanking them for setting it straight. No more wobbly no more pulls and play.. tight and straight now. So, thank Y'all. Will definitely recommend.

I just failed a state inspection from this location for “dry rotted” windshield wipers. My wipers were replaced less than a month ago, the photos included were taken while in their parking lot. They tried charge me $20 for EACH new wiper to which I declined because I just bought wipers. Then he said I could get them fixed and they would reinspect it for free within 15 days. No thanks, I won’t be back here. I’d rather pay another inspection fee to an honest company.

They were kind of busy so no one came to speak with me about extra needed services. I wanted them to change my wiper blades and air filter. But since they didn't mention it. I didn't bother them. I went to autozone and purchased items and autozone put them on for me.

Good people, my car was having bad brake issues and they went in and tried their best to fix it. For some odd reason it didn’t work out but they tried over 4 times, each time ordering new pads all under warranty and not charging me one penny over what I originally paid. I ended up going to the dealership after the 4th time but I applaud them for their commitment to service. Amazing service. Highly recommend.

Horrible experience, long wait for oil change that I end up not getting, the man told me something was strip he couldn't do it. And tried to give me a outrageous price for a oil pan that I didn't need.Went to Take 5 and told them what the man had said they went under my car and said nothing was strip and did my oil change. I was from out of town, flat tire, pouring rain, plus I was in town at MD Anderson and not feeling very cheery. The staff was super friendly and searched the town for my tire size. They found it and rapidly changed the tire and got me back on the road. Hard to find good customer service like that any more. Thx!

If your car is supposed to be worked on, it isn’t!! There is nobody working, they’re all in the office and it’s 10am. The old “war vet” takes pride in his hat but not being respectful to black women, talking to me like I’m a child or being dismissive!!! I asked about a lug nut for my tire but my car (whom I’m supposed to be giving to my daughter) has been making a knocking sound and he kept bringing up the lug nut!!! He thought I was continuing to ask questions to “trap” him about the lug nut THEN said what part are you not understanding?! I understand stupidity coming from your mouth. Then when you get loud or disrespectful then it’s “you”. Watch how you talk and to people and be dismissive of others

They cheat. I came in for a state inspection, and low and behold, the wipers are bad, we can change them for you for $20/each (that's crazy expensive) you fail. I went to O'Reilly replaced both wipers (cost me less then $20 for both of them), one of them was completely fine (I changed it a few month back, the other one had a tiny rip in it). Came back got the pass, showed the wiper that was 'bad' to the guy up front and he said, well you should just change both of them if one is bad. Didn't like the attitude and didn't like the wiper extortion, won't be back.

Very friendly staff, good work! Came in with my Mustang to get an inspection, left out knowing what needs to be fixed and how, I’ve been to other mechanics in the area and Midas had the most affordable pricing and wonderful customer service!
