Dude was generally just snide and unhelpful as he wouldn't explain things, rolled his eyes and shook his head when I asked questions, etc. I wasn't given an accurate total on the phone or by email until I came to pick it up after the work had been done. And he left trash in my car. Pretty unprofessional.

Nate and his team did a great job solving a problem he inherited from the Midas West Side Location !! ( Avon ) ! Nate was very professional and had the problem solved and vehicle returned in 24 hours !!! Excellent Communications and Professionalism. I would like to also recognize the Regional VP for getting involved and quickly solving my service issues. I will return to this location 100 %

I had a TERRIBLE experience at this auto shop. The manager has a very bad customer service. When I got there, my car was taken into the shop, it was taking so long and the response from the manager was not even comforting at all. I later realised my mileage is only over 2000 miles instead of 5000 miles and not even due for an oil change. I told the manager I'll like to have my car back since it's not due for oil change yet. But he kept telling me theyve already started working on it. He told me it was going to be $102 for the oil change for 5 quarts of oil. When he realised I already detected he's trying to cheat me, cos the oil put In the car isn't 5 quarts since the oil change isn't due, he offered a $20 off. The filter was not changed. He went on saying I and my husband are giving him too much problems. Like seriously? You charged me ridiculously when u obviously saw the tag on my dashboard that my oil change isn't due and I told u too, but u still charged me for the oil you didn't put In the car. I will not be coming back and I'll for sure let other people I know who comes here not to patronize you guys!

The shop manager at Midas kept me informed of what repairs was needed, once he and I figured out what had already been completed, and what had been recommended a few weeks prior! He also worked diligently on best pricing for the parts! Very courteous staff — and great banter! I would recommend this Midas location (W. 86th & N. Michigan Road).

I would give negative stars if it was possible. I am not a car savvy person by any means but came in to Midas to have my breaks looked at. After being told my breaks would cost a couple grand I said i would like to look around and compare my options. I was then met with amateur customer service if you could even call it that. I believe the exact words were "feel free to call back once you realize you've made a mistake" These folks are trying to grab any and every penny out of you because it helps their commission. I would stay away!!!

Terrible place to do business. Dropped it off for a diagnostic and the guys charged me 4 times what the other Midas locations charge and was an asshole about it. Do not recommend this location on michigan road.

Always a great experience at Midas on Michigan Road, Indianapolis. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. They explain everything to me in detail and get the job done with no problems afterwards.

This is the worst car repair shop I've ever been to. I had an appointment at 8:30 a.m. to get my window fixed, which cost $850. However, the service was never properly completed. I stayed at the shop until 1 p.m., and even after the repair, my window was moving slowly. When I got home, it stopped working entirely. Despite multiple calls, texts, and even another visit, no one made any effort to fix the issue. Instead, they told me I would need to spend another $400 to resolve it. I was never reimbursed, and they never attempted to solve the problem. Now, I’m forced to file a lawsuit to get my $850 back since the service was never properly rendered. See you in court.

Using a Bogo offer the cashier/manager attempted to overcharge me $20, by claiming the offer required payment if the oil change exceeds $69. The free offer stated “free up to $89” but Melissa or Michelle (whatever) was wrong, offered NO apology and was more than willing to OVERCHARGE a customer! When my vehicle was completed and returned 2 hours later, my front passenger window tint had been destroyed! I will not only avoid this location, I will never patronize or recommend any Midas. With the availability of options like Jiffy Lube, Meineke, Walmart, Take 5, Valvoline, Quik Lube and the car dealership my only solace is that I can make a better, more informed decision in the future.

The staff is very kind, knowledgeable, and patient with questions. I don’t feel they are ever trying to upsell me. I was also able to get my car back quickly despite needing lots of work done and not having an appointment. I have had several parts of my car worked on by them including: headlights, brakes, calipers, oil, and battery. I have been pleased with the result in all areas. Absolutely recommend them.

Took my car in for possible transmission issues since they were close by and I had a good experience with Kevin who no longer works there. They ran a diag for $120 and after having my car for over 2 hours, they gave me a long list of repairs including my manifold, timing cover, and replacing two tires that would cost $3500. All things that didn't relate to my issue. I felt pressured to make a decision and was told, "The issues could worsen if I let it go on too long," by the guy at the front. I never followed back up with them after all these red flags. Had even worse issues the following couple weeks with my car misfiring and check engine light coming on over and over. Eventually took it to my father across town and was told the misfiring was causes by the mechanic not putting my air intake back together properly. If he had not fixed this, it could've ruined my catalytic converter and totaled my car. Turns out my initial issue was spark plugs that needed replaced, something I was never even quoted for. Summary: Do not waste your time here under any circumstances and listen to the other reviews, this Midas will recommend fixes that are not needed and will tear your car apart without batting an eye. Auto-zone down the street will run a diag for free if your check engine light is on as well.

I went to Pete’s Service Center to have my strut replaced after hitting a pothole on my 2020 Volvo XC40. After almost a month without my car and almost $5000 ground out of pocket, they still did not fix the issue. Was still hearing rattling on the right side after supposedly it being repaired. Brought my car to Midas, they determined Pete’s did not fix the car and actually tried to patch the repair with some type of epoxy. Big ups to Midas for looking at the issue and not price gouging me!

Misdiagnosed my car and I had to take a $1000 hit because of it. On top of that, they overcharged in the first place and mark up everything. Michael is a nice guy who will work with you on prices but I am extremely disappointed in how the mechanics misdiagnosed my car then went on to give me a $3500 quote to replace things that the dealer then went on to say didn’t need replaced. No refund, no nothing, just a sorry after they took my money. Hopefully corporate will work with me but we will see. Overall, go elsewhere and try to find a shop that is more thorough and honest.
