I had a fantastic experience at Midas Auto Repair! I called about 5 minutes before arriving, and they were able to assist me right away. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel valued as a customer from the moment I walked in. The level of customer service here is top-notch! They took the time to listen to my concerns and promptly got to work on my vehicle. The technicians clearly take pride in their craft, and the quality of their hands-on work truly showcases their expertise. I left feeling confident in the repairs and knowing that my car was in great shape. I am more than pleased with the service I received and grateful that I chose Midas for my auto needs. I wish i could give this place a 0 (zero) star. What a ripe off. Every time you request one simple service to be done, they always overdo it to overcharge customers and the manager Fernando is part of the scam, rude, unprofessional, and not a problem solver. I would highly recommend to take your vehicles elsewhere if you don't wanna be scammed to pay extra at the end for any requested services

SCAMMERS! Took in a van for a simple oil change and new tires. As soon as getting it back the engine over heated and had to be towed back to the shop. They said it was now the thermostat that needed to be replaced so left it there over 2 days just to have that fixed. Now over 3 weeks later while driving the throttle light turned on, took to a different shop just to find out this place took off the thermostat and never put another one back on!!! Claimed they were too busy to give a paper receipt that day and swore they would email it which they never did. Driving around with NO thermostat damaging the engine and had a baby in the car. Lucky nothing serious happened. DO NOT go to this shop unless you want to be scammed and spend over $2,000 just to have more issues.

I received brake service 9/20/24 and was called to pick up my vehicle but when I arrived my tires were still removed and they were attending to other cars. So while waiting in the office I noticed two of the mechanics standing around talking with their foot on my tire and when I came out to question them they ignored me and went into the back of the garage. After waiting 20mins they finally put my tires back on and acted as if nothing happened. Very unprofessional and borderline racist. ZERO STARS.

They do what they have to do. I wish they'd call when the vehicles were ready for pick up but they wait til the end of day. Still not a bad location.

Wonderful and accommodating customer service! He gave me a discount for my shocks on my 2015 Toyota Prius, and a really great deal for my front shocks, which were less than $600!! I was so grateful, let alone the fact that I’d been approved for their financing plan with EasyPay. Saved me so much time and money, plus their service and labor was so quick that I was in shock myself! 😂 Thanks so much, Midas! (:

Experience not good . Made an appointment went in the guy told me 45 to and hour . . Left and came back a 45 min later my car was still in the same parking area I parked it . so I went inside to see if they were done and . Nope not even started . I was like what . So you lied to me an said it would be done in one hour but in reality two hours . For an oil change . I don't want to say lazy but what else can I say . Won't be coming back to any Midas at all . And honestly I did not see them lift my car up in the five min I left at all . I think the people just rest the dash with out doing the oil change . Watch out for these dudes at Midas on fig janky individuals . .

Good Morning Midas, Spent 1,200 dollars on new breaks and new rotars. We have been using Midas since we moved to LA, this morning the breaks starting grinding, it’s only been 2 years, we rarely use the car, the guy with one arm was outrageously unprofessional, refused to provide any assistance and tried making us drop another $1,200 for new rotars and breaks plus “suspension” work which this location did before. “Bro I am a mechanic” That was his response….. We are Midas members and will be immediately ending our card and membership. We also had them fix a tire before and it failed as well within a few days, went to Pep Boys to buy a new tire. The old manager or not sure if he knows this, was wonderful and I don’t know what happened to the Midas touch of customer service, but this location was awful and the armless gentleman should be removed asap. Awful experience

Latest update at bottom: Been going here for about 3 years. No complaints. Came here for the occasional oil change and tire purchase. This past week has been a nightmare experience. Came in for a check engine light for reduced power to engine and an oil change. My car has 140k miles so I understand the random check engine lights here and there. There were no other issues physically happening with the vehicle other than the check engine light. It ran “smooth” they charge $500+ for labor and parts to replace an oil pressure valve. I get the car after a couple days, on the drive back home as I’m parking the car, the engine dies. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED. I’ve had the car to close to ten years and it has never died. I bring it back, they check it out and say there’s nothing they can do outside of purchasing a new engine for around $4k-7k….I’m in disbelief because my car came out worse than I brought it in. They worked on it for a few days and couldn’t resolve an issue that happened immediately after leaving their shop. It’s as if you go in for stitches on your arm at the doc, your arm stops working and they go to amputating the whole arm…it’s ridiculous. Will not be coming back. 11/20/2023 Took the car to the dealership. They fixed the issue for 1/5th of what they quoted and no need for an engine replacement. Midas on Figueroa street…. If you don’t know how to do something and messed up just be honest with the customer and suggest they go to an expert. Shame on you…the guy I talked on the phone said “I worked at (dealership) and they’re going to tell you the same thing.” Glad I didn’t listen…

Volunteered to break to lug nut lock on my tires to plug my tire ... No did a horrible job on my oil change took way to long . I do not recommend using this company ever go back to dealership! This location is in the perfect spot but for another business they should be closed . You need at least 5 to 6 people with this many cars in the bay. U cannot get any work done with 3 people one whom is missing an arm ! Bad for business
