I've had a number of interactions with this Midas location. my experience has been that management, as well as customer representatives, mechanics and all service personnel have gone out of their way to make My experience at this location successful. It may not be that way for all people in all situations. being that midas is a national chain, there's still a little bit of local flavor at this location.

I have been going to Midas on Halsey for over 2 yrs now. They are professional, kind and polite, efficient and honest. I value my relationship with this team of mechanics and shop manager/staff. I am a picky community services shopper and they have always met my expectations.

My starter died and I got towed in to this Midas franchise, where I had previously gotten an oil change. The crew here were super friendly, super professional, super knowledgeable and super helpful. They even guided me in decisions that saved me a couple of hundred bux when they didn't have to.

The gentlemen, working the counter was amazing. He definitely works his butt off to get things done. I’m not sure if he is the manager or the lead serviceman. But definitely going back to this location. Also this guy needs a raise.

They are always helpful. I love getting the healthy check on a vehicle. Either if I had it for awhile or just got it. This is my second time at this location but going to Midas for years for my oil changes

Took my car in for an alignment. They ended up telling me I needed to replace my control arms. Charged me $1,700 for that. Got my car back. Still having problems. Took it back. They said "oh sorry, we only replaced the bracket." I ended up taking my car to a mechanic for a second opinion. He said they way over charged me. The quality checklist they have was just filled out and nothing was actually checked. The other mechanic said my alignment is still off and they couldn't have checked anything like they said cause there are 5 easy to see problems they didn't notice but checked "good" on the list. Great service. Now I'm out $1,700 that was mostly labor and I need to go take my car to an actual mechanic. Be careful people. They rip people off here. On a different note, a customer at my work was telling me yesterday the same shop got her for $4,000 for a simple job. I don't know if they just rip women off or everyone but be aware. I also will be getting a letter from my other mechanic. I will be submitting that and a letter from myself to either the DOJ or the Better Business Bureau.
