My car has been serviced here several times. They are great, communicative, and I never feel pressured to buy something right then and there if my car needs additional work. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. I moved south of the river, and still take my care here!

I had never been to a Midas before visiting this location and my experience was outstanding! Their dedication to customer care, evident from the inspection to the loaner car made me feel they truly value their customers. Their willingness to accommodate my chaotic flight schedule was above and beyond my expectations as I had just stumbled across the garage. Exceptional individuals, extraordinary service! I wish I got the names of everyone who helped me, every single employee from start to finish was friendly and amazing! I went in for a simple inspection and came out a lifelong customer. I had an unfortunate experience with my car. I went to the shop to get tires installation and replace the serpentine belt. The next weekend, after changed the oil by myself I noticed that the side cover of my car was missing. I was a bit disappointed, but the shop staff was really helpful. They offered to buy the new part for me, which was a great gesture.

Nicole was very friendly, efficient and helped me get a great deal on my tire repair. I called ahead regarding a tow for a flat tire. She called me once the car arrived and ensured the tire was looked at in a timely manner. I received a quote for the cheapest option available, which is very much appreciated in today’s economy. I’ve had consistent great experiences at this Midas location.

I'm not usually one to leave a review but this Midas location has been the best service I've ever had at an auto shop. Their man Kevin Edwards was friendly and honest with me, and when I asked about new brakes after my state inspection he took the time to explain why it wasn't necessary to replace them instead of just jumping at the opportunity to make a sale. I'll be coming here for any work I need done from now on!!

I brought my car in for an issue, they ran an inconclusive diagnostic and saw no issue with multiple test drives. I paid for their service, drove off the lot, and immediately had a check engine light appear. Clearly an oversight happened somewhere. I don't expect perfection from people, Im a chef, I have overcooked a steak before. Its about how you handle it, and they HANDLED it. They told me to immediately bring the car back, they called me and said they found the issue, resolved it and the car was ready. I expected to have to dispute the charge for an additional engine diagnostic, or to deduct the charge of the last service, SOMETHING. I walked in and they said, "again we apologize, service today is no charge". They ate the cost of a $300 service, and in return built foundational trust with me, and I will no longer take my vehicle anywhere else. Shout out to Kevin, Brian, and Ashley who all took part in these transactions.

Let me start off by saying I’ve never had a good experience with auto shops in the 11 years I’ve had a car but SA Midas changed that. I went in for a state inspection and failed- like seriously failed. Brandon called me & told me everything that was needed to be done to pass & even went out of his way to show me the issues without me asking. I don’t have the money in savings to pay for everything that was needed (I’m 26 & working on it- especially after this). Brandon explained the options and when I discovered my credit files were frozen he didn’t make me feel stupid or like a burden & just asked that I keep him updated. Finally was able to get approved almost a week later and signed off on the repairs that were needed. I could go on but I won’t, Brandon deserves a raise and I know exactly where I’m going when I have car problems in the future. Couldn’t be more grateful for the customer service & kindness that I was shown during this extremely stressful & upsetting week. 10/10

Midas of Central VA was a most wonderful customer service experience. I highly recommend you to visit the location and meet with the staff/associates who will be more than happy to assist you with your vehicle repair and budget for what’s necessary vs what can be done at a later time. I will continue to use their company. Great customer care is hard to find and access these days and accountability is nearly obsolete….however, this Company has impressed me beyond measure.

If I could give Zero stars I would. After shelling out almost $6,000 for Repairs to my Ford Escape I had for 3 years. The repairs only last 4 days before I had to trade the car in. I wouldn't trust these professional scam artists. Research and read reviews before doing business with people like this. Wouldn't advise anyone to waste their time with repairs that cost over a certain amount. There are mobile mechanics that are more trustworthy and helpful and AFFORDABLE then these folks. Be careful who you let work on your vehicle. I'll never do business in Richmond VA ever again. Never

They’ve got a new customer for life! Went to the dealer who told me I’d need $2400 worth of work done. Ended up at Midas for a flat tire and after they looked everything over told me the work wasn't necessary. I’m grateful for the honesty.

Been using them for years but no more. I already had several suspicions over the past couple years about their work. But then I was told that I had a gasket head leak and they wanted to charge me over $5,000 to fix it. Turned out to be completely wrong. My last experience with them was having my front brakes and rotor replaced. I brought my own rotors and brakes and they charged me $500 to repair front rotors and brakes when I supplied the materials. That is a job that I could have done in an hour and a half when I was 17 years old. There is no way that it takes any reputable mechanic more than an hour and a half to replace front brakes and rotors. So they are charging about $300 per hour for the job for something that is 17-year-old with no mechanic experience could do. Get out of here.
