Really great customer service, but severely overpriced. I took my car back there for chirping and clunking noises after already having them replace my struts and control arms, (which I now know were overpriced as well, lesson learned). At this last visit, they told me I needed new front CV axles and wheel bearings that would normally cost over $3k, but they could do it for $1850 out the door. I shopped around because the numbers didn't seem right and that was severely high discount. I ended up at a place (Simmang's Automotive Service Center) that quoted $1754.98 for the same work with no discounts. After they looked at it, they said my axles and bearings look fine, but my right engine mount needed replacing. They replaced that and low and behold, the weird noises went away... I almost traded in my car because of that overpriced quote...

I recently visited for an oil change, and I was extremely impressed with the service. The staff was professional and efficient, getting the job done quickly without compromising on quality. Was greeted with a smile ask how was morning going. This place has improved since new mgr from cleanest, attitude, and service overall. There was a waiting or have made appointment for a oil change with old management. Keep up the great work.

I think this place has friends put in reviews. We scheduled an appointment online (our first time trying this place) they didn't call us back for 2 days because of the pricing. I had an appointment at 3:45pm, we got there and they said you have to wait about 45 minutes? Even though made an appointment? To be told, "We can't change your oils outside!" So beware, the appointment is not an appointment which was never explained to us. Please look at all lowest reviews, you will see this is true. Also, after seeing the bad reviews, I thank God we left.

I had a disappointing experience during my recent visit. The technician stated they couldn’t open the hood of my car, but I was able to do so myself within ten seconds. Additionally, the overall attitude was unprofessional—not only from the technician but also from the staff, who explained they couldn’t assist further because “the guy went to get tires.” It was frustrating that the task was left unfinished. To make matters worse, the technician made negative remarks about me to the manager simply because I requested a moment to open the hood myself. This lack of professionalism and poor customer service was unacceptable. Bottom line my car was unserviced and I was disrespected.

Midas on foster road is by far the best place in San Antonio to get your oil change or any service done to your vehicle. Friendly staff at all times so wait time goes by fast. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for affordable and great service.

I do not know how Midas was in the past, but since I started going here, Midas has been great. I recently started having problems with my car. They gave me all the information I needed on pricing for having my vehicle examined. They found the problem quickly. Unfortunately, I had another major problem with my car, a crack in my exhaust manifold. Thankfully I have an extended warranty on my vehicle. The Midas team did their best to work with the warranty company. They kept in contact with me every step of the way, even calling and leaving messages to let me know what they needed to quickly get my warranty to cover the expenses and fix my car. I am really thankful that I saved a lot of money and headache because of the Midas team. They even took pictures and sent them to me before I knew I had to get my extended warranty involved. As far as everything goes, I could not be more satisfied!

They go above and beyond for their customers at this shop. I was recently told that my car needed a new engine by a different shop. I brought my car to this shop for a 2nd opinion. The shop did an inspection and told me that I needed new coils and spark plugs, not a new engine. They fixed the issue for a fraction of the price and in the same day. Mary is very honest, knowledgeable, and gives exceptional customer service. I will be bringing my vehicle to this shop for all my future maintenance and repairs.
