ANYTIME I need service on any of my cars, I always go to Midas Walnut Creek CA FIRST. The guys there are friendly, knowledgeable, and get the job done right. Brakes, tune-ups, scheduled maintenance, oil changes, tires - they do it all and with GREAT satisfaction. As long as Rod and the guys are there - I won't take any of my cars anywhere else. THE BEST!

My wife had came here because our tire was slowly losing air over the last few weeks, we thought we had a nail in it. The rep checked the tire and had initially stated there was a small hole and they could patch it. After 40 minutes they returned and said that they could not do it because it was patched before and that the tire was sanded down front the previous patch to much and wiring was exposed. Keep in mind that yes we did get this patched before but no where was any wiring exposed or sanded down to much. They then went on to say that the tread was low anyways and I should get a new tire. This tire has a life of 80,000 miles and I got the tire less than a year ago with 20,000 less miles on it. After our visit they did not charge us but the tire was losing air within a hour. We took it to another place with reps who are knowledgeable and let us know the Midas folks were the ones who not only sanded the tire down to much in their attempt to patch it but made the small hole BIGGER and let us drive off with it. DO NOT RECOMMEND coming here. Seriously find another place that will help you, they almost destroyed our tire, then tried to upsell my wife.

I've visited this place a couple of times recently, and I highly recommend. I wish I'd known about them earlier. Rod helped me both times and with a few different items, and he was great. One of the items I asked about was the "check engine" light. He gave me some really good guidance on this and how to proceed, and I held off on further diagnosis at that time. And today, my check engine light is completely off! It seems my car corrected itself, and I'm so happy about that.

i needed a vehicle inspection renewal for rideshare. for forty bucks the guy told me to go back in the car and switch all the controls for him in the heat. they also didn't have any seats in the unairconditioned store while I waited for them to finish up the paperwork. stark contrast from other service centers ive used to get the same service with a more comfortable waiting area while they did the service themselves for the same price. some even cheaper

Recently visited this location for an oil change and it was a great experience. Staff was friendly, service was completed in less than an hour and pricing was fair. Highly recommend!

For one thing it's convenient because it's so close to me but the service has been consistently great and the staff always friendly. I think Sam is the manager or even maybe the owner, either way he's great and Rod has always been forthright and honest with me about all my vehicles repairs:) Go there NOW!!

I recently went back to Midas in Walnut Creek for additional repairs. This time I needed an anti-freeze tube replaced. They could have stiffed me for a new radiator. But they were honest, which I've found a rarity among auto repair shops. I have lived in the area and practiced law for over 40 years. I was so pleased with their obvious honesty and lack of pressure that I also bought a set of tires as long as my car was in the shop. I have a 2000 Volvo that I am trying to make last into my 80's. They could have lied to me about the prospective results from oil leak trouble shooting and caused me to spend $1,000's of dollars, but they didn't. In my experience most of their competitors would have sent me on an expensive wild goose chase. I went to them for exhaust services last year, but am pleasantly surprised at the full extent of their available services. I put trust and honesty first in auto repairs, ahead of skill and deceit. I highly recommend Midas of WC. Ask for, "Sam," and tell them, "Dan sent me!" *** I own a 2000 Volvo. I am a retired atty., 77 years old. I can't afford, even a decent used car beyond this one. I was being sent around the area like a pinball from one crook to another, 6 or 8 in all. Sam is the only one who was honest with me. Between CA state and the crooks I was about to junk my car and wind up on foot for the rest of my life. Sam's nearest and highly recommended (by the swindlers' club) wanted $5,000 for 2 converters plus $1,400 in labor with no guarantees. They emphasized what hard work they would have do to "cut the pipes and weld in the converters." Sam shared with me that only the front 2000 Volvo converter was necessary to pass smog, also that there was no cutting or welding involved. If I found the right converter, it could easily be screwed in for less than $200 from him. Only with his help, I found the vital converter in New Jersey for $1,400 (1 left). I passed smog in the wink of an eye. As an a retired attorney my experience was that a substantial majority of auto repair shops gouge their customers and misrepresent the extent and nature of their needs--way beyond the necessary. For me, Sam was a saint and an answer to prayer. :) Dan

Second visit: Everything is smooth, make appointment, dropoff and my car after service. The wait time for oil change is 1 hour and they are very effecient. My colleague told me that they also chose midas after reading my review. First visit: Did a oil change service last weekend. The price is reasonable. The staffs are nice and helpful. But they record my phone number with mistake so I wait a long time for their phone call to pick up my car and i can't tell how fast they service. it would be better to confirm the phone number again. Overall experience is good and deserve a try.
