Excellent service! Skully and Cuco were very helpful in addressing my issue. Very friendly and accurate. I ask for approximately how longs my service would take and then went for a walk and came back a dn bam. Done. So props to the mechanics as well.

I brought my car in for an oil change and asked the team to check my tires and help with a stuck license plate screw. They were fast and efficient with the work. The management team kept me updated and clearly showed the cost beforehand. I will continue to get my service work done here as I feel they are trustworthy and skilled. Bryan Murillo is excellent!

REVIEW FROM NOVEMBER 2024: Second review for this shop (I had to edit my previous review). Excellent service again. Had a very slow leak. They found two small nails/construction material and plugged both holes. Then they found a third very small leak that could not be fixed. Once we knew the tire could not be salvaged or repaired, they did NOT charge me for this labor. Instead, they recommended that I replace the tire. They suggested I buy a gently used tire instead of a brand new one, which saved me $250+. The tires on my high performance SUV are expensive. I was initially skeptical of buying a used tire. But they showed me which exact tire I would purchase, with images online, including a picture showing tread depth of 8 mm. But I was concerned: where did the tire come from? How did I know it would not have a problem? Midtown Auto Repair assured me that they would (1) visually inspect the tire when it arrived, (2) perform a water dunk test to look for leaks, and (3) provide a 30-day warranty, which you don't even get with some new tires. They ordered the tire, it was delivered the next day, and they installed it with minimal wait when I returned with the car. Selling me a used tire obviously resulted in lower revenues for the shop, and I am glad they looked for ways to save me money. I will definitely return. REVIEW FROM AUGUST 2024: Midtown was conveniently open Sunday afternoon and took my car without wait. A screw/nail in my rear tire was causing a slow leak. Midtown removed the screw and repaired the tire, when another shop said it could not. The other shop felt that screw was too close to the sidewall, but that shop was in a rush and did not inspect the tire closely. The screw was really on the tread. For a very reasonable price, Midtown quickly got me back on the road, so we could continue our Father's Day plans. Thanks!

I am a repeat customer who uses the Costco Auto program's affiliate auto repair facility recommendation. Janat (the Manager) met and exceeded Costco's 15% discount on services, matching that of AAA Auto Care Service Center. The client was pleased with the process and quality of work done on their vehicle. A bonus was a free car wash next door at the Auto Detailer after service.

Had my catalytic converter stolen in Chicago while visiting from out of town. The team at Midtown Auto went above and beyond to help me. I busted my tire and they were able to get me in immediately. Even stayed late past closing so I could get my car in. And to make it even better, it was done the next day! I highly recommend midtown auto repair. I will be coming back if I need anything!

I had my car tow here and they told me what needed to be fix and the cost I said ok I came to pick up my car then about a week my car wasn’t starting again so I get it tow ones again now they telling me it’s something else wrong with it they told me the price I said ok I go pick up my car again. I want this be know the second time I came up there they said it was something wrong with my fuel pump and that’s what they fix so when I pick it up I only had my car for 1 week and now my car showing that something wrong with the tank so I took it to another shop just to find out that they said my fuel pump is not working and I need a new one and I paid them people $1,360 to get that fix just for me to get it fix again I will never come back to this place I wish I can get my money back.

I would highly recommend Mid Town Auto to anyone in the Chicago area needing a mechanic. They work on specialty to everday vehicles. I have a range rover, and they have done an amazing job with my car over the last 2 years. They are not only the best priced but the team there is beyond friendly and helpful. I work with Bryan, and he is absolutely amazing. I'm nowhere near a car specialist and he walks me through EVERYTHING in a professional and timely manner. I cannot recommend Byan and the Midtown auto team enough!!!

My car was towed by AAA to Midtown Auto Repair after stalling out. While Midtown did get my car working again within a day, I feel that I was ultimately charged for work that I didn't need. I was told that my car stalled because the throttle body needed to be replaced, and this was almost a $1K replacement. After the replacement was completed, I was told they also needed to change a $60 cracked hose, which I consented to. One week later, I took my car to my regular repair shop to make sure everything was good after the stall incident. The shop asked me what error codes Midtown had gotten when the car stalled (as they hadn't noticed any issues with it the previous month).. the documentation from Midtown didn't have this info, so I had to call for it. The person I spoke to on the phone confirmed that the only error code they had seen that day was "for the air hose"-- I asked if it was possible that only the cracked air hose needed to be replaced ($60) rather than the full throttle body ($1K) and he said it was possible, though they'd typically recommend the throttle body replacement as well. Overall, while they did fix my car, it seems that the day I brought it in I wasn't given all the same information as when I followed up later, leading to an expensive repair. I would have preferred more comprehensive diagnostics, particularly given the background information I had provided them about my car the day it was dropped off.

While driving to work my car started making a rattle when going over bumps. Pulled up to midtown with out an appointment two hours before closing time & Bryan was able to accommodate me with an inspection and fix my car! Amazing turn around even in the midst of a busy night and prices were fair!

The shop is open 7 days a week, which helped me out of a jam. The team also worked hard to get me back my car asap. They went above and beyond fixing the car and even buffing out some paint I had on the door. Great help and great work! Thanks team!
