The owner was very respectful and professional, really enjoyed the service I went to five different other repair shops and was dissatisfied with their service when I came to Midtown auto service. It was like a different experience for me. The owner treated me so nicely and he was very respectful he fixed the car that no one else could’ve fixed.

Mikey is a good mechanic, he can see your car fast and diagnoses things accurately. I have taken my car here several times, he explains what he is going to do before doing it, and he shows you the worn out parts from your car if you are interested. I got stung by a crappy mechanic once and brought it here after and Mikey sorted it out fast. Cars and repairs are expensive, cheaping out won't work in the long run, bring it to a place like this and pay for the skilled labour and get a decent warranty and established relationship with guys who do a good job.

My first time here to get my vehicle serviced, and Mike, the owner is so friendly, welcoming, and energetic. It didn’t feel like I was in an auto shop. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend this place 100%.

i would be stranded in houston and out of a job if it weren’t for this shop. the owner worked with me and understood i was on a time crunch got me out of there fast and fixed my problems. he even came on a ride along to make sure my car was good to go after the job was complete!!

I do not trust this shop. This was my first visit and I will never go here again. I paid approximately $500 for AC diagnostic, Freon recharge, and dye to discover why the AC was cold only on the passenger side on my 5 year old car. After injecting dye and recharging the Freon, the AC made a hissing noise and the Freon ran out in about an hour. The AC had never hissed before. My car was kept at the shop for three days while the dye was "washed off" to find the leaks. The shop manager said that I had a large leak and a small leak and that it would cost $709.44 for parts, labor, dye, and Freon to repair the large leak. He recommended that I repair the large leak first to make it easier to find the second leak. His usual friendly demeanor became hostile when I insisted on getting the estimate in writing and asked for the hourly labor cost. He handed me an estimate which had blanks where the parts and labor costs should have been. He took the paper from me and illegibly scribbled the prices after I attempted to write down the details myself. The next day, I took my car for a second opinion and that shop manager showed me that the valve was missing from inside the AC high pressure port. That shop replaced the valve for free and charged me only to install Freon. My car was repaired in less than an hour and the AC has been working fine ever since. 10 months later and my AC is still running cold. Have not had to install any more Freon. I can live with a leak that takes about 5 years to run out. In the meantime, I'm getting the warranty work.

If you need auto repair and want the job done right the FIRST time then go see the owner Mike. His shop has all the right tools to make stuff happen fast. I was in and out in under 24 hours and I had some serious issues with my car. The mechanics made sure my car was perfect before I left the shop. Great business to deal with
