I found this place originally through groupon and am so glad I did. Mike is fantastic to work with, is so down to earth and always gives me the best deal on oil changes, filters, air rotations, etc. It's a 20 minute drive from my place but worth it for the customer service. The location is also great because I can just grab lunch at Kuma's Corner while I wait for my car. I've been coming here for a couple years and will continue to do so for as long as I live in the city. Highly recommended!

My experience with Mike was outstanding. He efficiently handled an oil change, replaced the air filters and coolant, rotated the tires on our Range Rover, and ran a diagnostic check—all at a very reasonable price. He noticed the coolant was low and thoroughly checked for leaks, finding none. Despite the shop being quite busy, Mike took the time to address all my concerns with professionalism and courtesy. With a new timing belt replacement on the horizon, he provided an estimate that was significantly better than what we've received from dealerships. I’ll definitely be returning. A+

Jeff, Alex and the whole crew from customer services to standing by their work. these guys are the best. Lucky enough to come by them through an oil change, and have had my breaks/rotors, arm controls and alternator done by them. it’s been nothing but a good experience and reasonably priced as well.

Jeff and his crew did an amazing job on my car. I came in for a simple oil change and as they were doing the oil change they noticed that my brakes were low and I had a slow transmission leak. Jeff then went on to tell me that I could do the brakes (now while I wait) and i can wait to fix the oil leak later. I never had a mechanic say wait to fix an issue lol this place is my forever mechanic thanks Jeff!!!

Jeff did both axel’s brakes for half what a chain quoted and same day in 90 minutes. On subsequent visits the concern drops significantly. I need shocks and they threw a dealer price at me. So they don’t want my business anymore. So it’s a crapshoot on their mood I guess.

These guys were so great to work with! My car broke down and got it towed to Midwest based on a Google search. It showed up 3 hours before they closed and they worked it in to their schedule to get me back on the road. A problem with getting the correct part from an auto parts store led to them not getting it done before the end of their work day but they stayed late to get it done for me. They absolutely did not have to do that, but they did. 10/10 recommend. Friendly, professional, fast, caring, and got my car up and running! Reasonably priced and didn’t feel like they raked me over the coals on price.

Can't tell you how hard it is to find a quality mechanic in the city, I usually go to the west suburbs for my needs. I needed a quick brake job so I figured I'd call around locally to see if I could find someone to squeeze me in for a reasonable price. I called Midwest Auto Care and not only did Jeff get me turned around within a couple hours the price was $150 less out the door than the lowest quote I had found earlier (called 4 other shops). Friendly, communicative, informative, affordable, local. Couldn't ask for more. Will be sending friends and fam in the area this way!

Went in for an oil change (Groupon) and they were quick, thorough and did a safety check. Going to a new place I’m concerned about an upsell or an ‘urgent repair’ being sprung on me. These guys were honest and I enjoyed the experience, highly recommended!

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! I'm new to Chicago and was looking for an honest garage that I can take my car to. Found this place on Groupon and scheduled an oil change. Jeff informed me I had an oil leak and they had to replace the valve cover gasket. He qoute parts at $60 and 2 hours labor maybe 2 1/2. They finished in an hour, but I was charged 2.20 hours. When I got home and found the mistake on my receipt I called Jeff and let him know. He got mad and said it did take 2 hours, I explained to him I text my wife at 10:45am to let her know I'd be there longer and paid the invoice at 12 noon. He then said "well I can charge what I qouted and if you want to settle this face to face, come back to the garage." I asked him would it make a difference if I drove all the way back to plead my case and he said it's his business and he can run it the way he wants. Alright that's fine, but you lost a customer. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!

I would definitely give 10 stars if I could ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ First time here and the Google reviews and Groupon are what brought me here for a full synthetic oil change but Jeff the owner ... is what will keep me here. I walked in at 9:52am and was on my way home at 10:36am and during those 44 minutes I watched Jeff treat the other customers that were there so well even going beyond what would be expected saying things like I want to get it done right so I'd rather not hurry but I won't charge extra for that time to literally ordering/paying for a woman's Uber with the decision of keeping her car there for 24 hours at the last minute. He was professional, kind and helpful and really really affordable for me with not only giving me the same price as the groupon but even charging $2 less with no tax added to it. He took the time to talk with each person that approached him and I really enjoyed my conversation with him ... Jeff and Midwest Auto Care definitely made a new customer today 🚗 I WILL BE BACK JEFF!!! Thank you for fast, affordable and kind service.

I found Midwest Auto Care because I was looking for same day service on my Ford Explorer’s brakes. I called and spoke to Jeff, who assured me they could take care of it. The crew was quick and transparent and had my explorer ready within 4-5 hours. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I would highly recommend their shop! Honest people, honest prices.

We had an oil change. It was fast and very thorough. They gave us a run down of what we need to look out for in the coming months. Really nice people, great service and good value.
