I really like Mike and Sons because they do high quality work and they are honest. They tell me what my car needs but they also tell me what it doesn't need and what can wait. I appreciate that because it allows me to budget my car maintenance while being proactive so I might avoid urgent issues. Their new location at Arden mall is spacious and easier to get in and out of than the Q St. location. I've been going to them for about 5 years now thanks to a friend who told me about them. If you're looking for good auto mechanics give Mike and Sons a try, you won't regret it.

Very polite customer service very understandable. They tell you everything you need to know about your vehicle. The pricing was fair and they did a magnificent job. Mario, who did my alignment was very professional and explained everything to me and so did the gentleman at the front desk I would recommend these guys 100% thank you for the service.

This is where I’ll be taking my car from now on! Brought my car in for a check engine light which ended up being the fuel pump needed to be replaced. These guys found a recall for the problem on my car that I wouldn’t have even thought to look for! They told me about it and I ended up getting it replaced for FREE by the Honda dealership! These guys saved me a bunch of money, you can’t beat honesty! Thank you 🙏

I'm so grateful for Mike and Sons! They've been helping me take care of my CR-V for years now and are the best shop I've ever worked with! I feel like they're watching out for my car's well being as much as I am and I trust them to help keep it in tip-top shape without worrying about whether I'm being oversold or anything like that. They go out of their way to explain what's going on with your car and help you make the best informed decision for your vehicle and for your budget. My family and friends have had the same great experience as well. I cannot recommend Mike and Sons highly enough! I know I'm not ever taking my car anywhere else!

Took my Honda to Mike & Sons for some scheduled maintenance and they did a wonderful job. Efficient and thorough, and the tech went through each item, explaining what the potential issues were, what needed to be fixed and what could wait, and providing prices for each so I could make an informed decision on what to take care of. As a woman in her 60’s, it’s not always easy to find an auto shop that is straight with you and treats you with respect, but Mike & Sons was absolutely stellar.

I got a flat tire in the morning heading to work. I drove the car to work but immediately went to this this shop to discuss my situation. Manny provided really great customer service and provided recommendations on what to do to get the car to their shop. After he helped me asses the damage and recommended the appropriate tire replacement. I had meetings to attend st work so I ended up taking the car late to the shop, but they worked with me and still managed to fix the tire and deliver the car to me by the time I was out of work. Over all, the and his team offered excellent customer service and were more than accommodating to my needs. Thank you so much! I had an excellent experience with their shop! I would highly recommend them for any future service needs.

I took my car in after the ac compressor went out, (not having ac isn't fun) while driving from Washington state to Sacramento. The facility and tech were helpful, informative and very understanding of my circumstances. The work was completed with out any issues and the ac now blows cold and there are no funny noises coming from the engine bay.

These guys are incredibly trustworthy and reliable. They always communicate with you and discuss pricing options before going ahead with any work, and they'll honestly evaluate issues and let you know if it's something that can be waited on to fix. I've been bringing my old Camry to them for years and they've helped me so consistently that they'll have my business for a long long time.

I've been with Mikes for over a year now, and they have always given great service, quality work, and great value. A few days ago, I took my car to Mikes after the dealership quoted me about $3500 in repairs and regular maintenance. Mikes gave me a free bumper to bumper auto assessment, and validated a few dealer items, and removed a few that didn't make sense. The repairs took a few days, and Mikes was constantly communicating and working as fast as they could on the repairs and part orders. When it was all said and done, their costs for repairs and maintenance items was $1700. I've driven the car over 50miles so far, and no issues have come up. Bravo to Manny and his team, and thanks for all the great service, communication, and value.

This is a convenient, reliable repair shop in downtown Sacramento. I’ve been doing annual oil changes and periodic repairs with Mike & Sons for several years now. I particularly like the detail inspection form they provide, reminding me of upcoming or overdue service items. They never pressure me to step up and do suggested work right away. This allows me to perform simple tasks myself ( filters, wiper blades, etc.) while remaining aware of larger service items down the road, so to speak. Staff are great communicators, I feel well taken care of - a good value all around.

Froy was AWESOME!!!! I called to make an appointment and he got me in same day on Friday afternoon and my car was ready before they closed. He provided me options and the knowledge of each choice. The whole experience was completely stress free (I mean, spending money sucks lol) and I felt informed the whole time. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Rather than charging me for all kinds of work, Froylan asked me a few questions to get a general diagnosis. He mentioned that given my transmission had overheated multiple times and the mileage on my car, fixing the transmission may simply reveal another costly repair, and maybe it was time to consider a replacement. He didn't take advantage of me despite knowing that I was from out of town and that he may never see me again. Instead, he took his time to educate me on car healthy and advised me on my options. I was in a vulnerable spot having potentially put my family in an unsafe situation in an aging car. Yet, Froylan listened and empathized rather than just try to move on with his day. What a guy. It's incredibly refreshing to find a shop I feel I could trust when I have left several dissatisfied.
