I love this place so much. They are always so kind, knowledgeble, and efficient. I had a ton of things I needed fixed and they did it within one day- and they had to order parts! Also I never get the bad vibes I sometimes get when I go to other mechanics haha. They explain things thoroughly and never make you feel stupid!! 10/10 everytime I go.

I have had my car serviced regularly at this dealership for 4 years. I have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly, helpful and service is done in timely manner. They listen well to my concerns and act on them.

Mission Hills Automotive is a trustworthy and reliable business that I feel fortunate to have found. They communicate very well about what is going on with the vehicle and don't try to sell you things you don't need. They do also take the time necessary to diagnose problems correctly. I've been bringing my vehicle to them for service for over ten years now, and I have never had a bad experience.

I have rarely if ever worked with an auto repair shop that is more honest, easy to work with, or good at what they do. From the ease of booking an appointment, to the fact that they always, always do what they say, for the amount they said, and actively try to save you money. This may seem like real baseline stuff...but in my experience auto shops seem to thrive on ambiguity and in weaponizing their knowledge against the customers to extract the most amount of money. Not these guys. I hope they never change...

Really helpful, kind people; great communication. I thought I was hearing a weird sound in my new-to-me car (my first hybrid), so I brought it in for them to diagnose. It turned out to be a totally normal sound, but they were still really thorough in making sure nothing was wrong, and they helped me understand what was going on and what sounds I should expect from this car. I’ll definitely be going back for my next regular maintenance.

Wow! What a disappointment. After moving to the neighborhood recently, I was seeking a well respected and well reviewed auto repair shop for my vehicle. I was under the impression that this shop fit that description. However, after dropping my vehicle there for the replacement of a tire pressure sensor in one tire and a sporadic shift lever issue, I found that the shop wanted to charge me $180 just to look at the shift lever problem, and almost double the going rate at a tire repair shop like Evans tire to replace the tire pressure sensor.

I had my 2017 Range Rover Sport in for an oil service and brake fluid service. Mission Hills Automotive lives up to it's reputation. Excellent scheduling process, car was delivered on time as promised, and the whole process was very transparent and reasonably priced. Excellent job team!

Look no further, this auto shop is where you want to take your cars. Have been to this auto shop a few times now and have had a 5/5 experience every time. The manager, Fred is very friendly, thorough, and looks out for the wellbeing of his customers. I had to reschedule last minute on a complete tire change due to a strained back and they were extremely accommodating. Even took the time to ask how my back was feeling!

Mission Hills Automotive is the best in San Diego, there's no other location that I would trust with my BMW. Fred is great to work with, he's clear about timelines and overly communicative throughout the entire process. The team has a clear attention to detail and expertise. They diagnosed and resolved my issues quickly and accurately. I will ALWAYS bring my car back to Mission Hills Automotive :)

This is a reliable and honest shop. I appreciate them explaining their reasons for their service recommendations. They also had no problems with me keeping old parts to confirm why things needed to be replaced/fixed. To me, their prices are above average, but fair. They do also charge 3% for credit card payments.

I have gone to Mission Hills auto for over 6 years now and have been very happy with their work. Literally the day I moved to San Diego, my battery died and I went into the shop and started a relationship with their team. Everyone is very friendly, and I feel that I can trust their advice and really understand the "why" which each repair. Never have I felt pressured to get more work done (if anything, the opposite, with them encouraging me to delay some service that wasn't necessary). Over the years my car has had lots of issues and with every one, they've kept me on the road and kept my car moving. They take pride in their work - for instance, in my recent repair they went above and beyond by double and triple checking that every leak was stopped. I love that it's in my neighborhood and I can walk from home to pick up my car. I also really like that the whole team seems to communicate. Whether I'm talking with Fred or Evan, it seems like they're both very familiar with my car and its history. I think this goes a long way. I highly recommend Mission Hills Automotive!

3% credit card use fee added to a $600 bill for front brakes and oil change. There were signs posted at other desks notifying of the fee, but not where I checked out. Noticed after the fact, and can only re run a debit card by going back to the shop, which I don't have time to do. How about a cash discount rather than an undisclosed fee? Dishonest and disappointing. If this kind of thing wasn't happening all the time I'd maybe be less pissed about it, but at this point I'll just find another shop and know to be more defensive at time of payment. I am so sick of getting nickled and dimed for this kind of stuff when the service itself is way too expensive to begin with. Lame.

I am incredibly impressed with their honesty. They thought an expensive thing needed to be done based on their first inspection which I signed off on and they called me and said at closer inspection a much cheaper thing was the issue when they could have charged me full price and I would never have known.

This is truly the quintessential reputable neighborhood automotive service station. You bring it in, they give you a comprehensive quote by text and you mark yes or no to approving the service done. They do the work, you go home. There is no intent to mislead or overcharge. The customer service is top notch and I could not be more pleased about what has been done to my vehicle to keep it running. I even splurged and had my headlights restored. They are good as new!

Brought on my 2015 Nissan Rouge Select with 79,000 miles for A/C service. The A/C was serviced, and completed in 5 hours. Great service and fair price for the work completed. A/C works perfectly now.

Our service advisor Liz did an absolutely fantastic job of keeping us informed on the status of the diagnosis and repairs needed on our 2014 Ford Escape. She and her team went to extraordinary measures to isolate and resolve the unusual/recurring issues plaguing the car. Ultimately, it was determined to be a relatively easy and inexpensive repair which, fingers crossed, resolved the issue. We could not be happier with the outcome! Transparent, trustworthy, and credible. I have had my vehicle serviced here twice for brake replacement and issues with a cylinder misfire and a leaking EVAP system. The staff are effective communicators - both providing realistic time estimates for service and effectively translating the work that needs to be performed for a lay person. Evan was my service agent and he was particularly helpful and readily available to talk. I could not be more happy with the performance of this shop.

My ford bronco was brought in with an oil leak. I was quoted a price and a time frame on a labor intensive repair. To my surprise the bronco was completed ahead of time, and under cost. I will continue to use mission hills automotive for all my mechanical needs. Shout out to Joselyn and Evan.
