I’m giving it a 1 only because they showed up to do the job (putting on a simple 02 sensor) but the communication was horrible. When they said they were on the way the time kept being pushed back because they had to stop and eat and all these other petty excuses. The lights were still on and they advised my son he needed to drive it about 30 miles before the lights would go out & he did that they were still on so he reached out and no response. I like the convenience of them being mobile but their customer service sucks and the fact that when I asked the girl to reduce the labor she acted like she was doing me a favor; especially after they were 2.5 hours for the appointment time.

They prefer texting I asked if they could give me a call and they did. Once they sent the mechanic it was smooth sailing!

I had limited money and wasn’t trynna do major repairs if I didn’t need to. so I paid for a diagnosis to confirm my starter did need to be changed. By having them do the repairs they waived that diagnosis fee. Saved me money!! And they came to me!!

Had a simple issue i needed help with. They didn't answer the phone, and they read my text message and didn't even bother to respond. If you want someone more reliable, look up Bishop Mobile Repair.

These folks were great to work with. They showed up on the day and at the time we discussed, gave me a fair quote, and did great work. They were courteous and polite. Thank you again for the great service and I will call again if I need more help!

I was completely blown away at the timely manner in which they diagnosed and repaired the problem with my 2014 Volkswagen passat! I highly recommend these guys. The mechanic was knowledgeable, and very helpful in explaining exactly what and why, making me understand completely what was going on! Customer for life!!

I asked these guys about some motor mounts getting replaced on my Buick lacrosse. I got quoted 1250$ for parts and labor. Decided to call around to get priced check, and got a guy to come out for 200 parts and labor these guys are trying to mess people over with prices. I wont ever let this guy touch my car. The parts costed me 90$ at AutoZone, and took the Mexican guy 30 minute's.

Terrible customer service, absolutely no communication at all. I have been trying to get my car looked at for 3 days and have been strung along saying I’m next in line. You’ll have better luck getting your vehicle to a shop.

I was charged $900 to install a muffler. The muffler is installed in the opposite direction than it should be. I tried to reach out to them but no answer. I am afraid they disappeared with the money.

Literally called them and had them send some one over to me within 45 minutes. I needed a quick fix for my splash guard. John, helped me and explained to me very clearly what he was going to do and what usually the best practices were. If you are asking for their help, specially after regular hours, be respectful to their after hours fee policy. I called them around 10:30 at night, and had my thing fixed by 11:20. They are open to negotiate based on the job needed to perform.

Terrible 2 girls showed up at 8pm and couldn't do the job took my truck apart and were supposed to come back the next morning and never showed up.

I had what I thought was a great experience in May 2022 when I needed my starter replaced. The service was fast and convenient. Fast forward to January 2023 when my car did not start. I called and text messaged Ken asking if the part was under warranty, since this issue appears to be the starter. I also expressed I'd be willing to pay labor if the part was under warranty for a replacement. My texts were never returned and calls appeared to be pushed through to a full voice box. It's March and I never got a response so I will be paying another mechanic to fix a part that is likely covered under a warranty because a shoddy mechanic doesn't want to answer calls to fix his botched work. HUGE SCAMMER - find someone reputable to work with or be prepared to be out $$$

Very fast service. My engine light came on this morning and my vehicle was not performing well. Contacted the business, and Randy was able to come to the house, diagnose the problem, and had my car running smoothly again within about 2 hours. Had called the dealership service department first, and was told they couldn’t get me in until June (it’s currently February). Best part was I didn’t have to leave the house. I highly recommend Mobile Mechanic Austin.

Spent nearly $200 for them to jumpstart my car and tell me i needed a new battery (which i had to go to another business to install) when what I really had was a broken starter.
