Scott and his staff were HONEST and FAIR! The pricing was GREAT and the team was knowledgeable, professional and friendly! He did not take advantage of my lack of mechanical knowledge. I will use this location on rt.88 Castle Shannon at the corner of 88 and McFarland.

I went to get my car inspected and ended up paying over $1600. I was not offered a payment plan or the option to choose the tires that could have been cheaper. I don’t the management was helpful at all when I talked to him over the phone or when picked up my car at 6:10 p.m. The only helpful and pleasant to speak with was the technician. I also did not like the fact that the manager was driving my car to another shop to get my stickers. I did not give anyone permission to drive my car on the main road and what would have happened if there was an accident. I was told that they changed management and it is definitely apparent. I will probably go to someone else next year.

Bought 4 brand new Ironman tires on July 22, 2024. They never provided the manufacturers warranty. Put 511 miles on them when one just popped. Didn’t run over anything, it was a faulty tire. Tried to call to get a copy of the warranty but they refused saying all sales final. I just needed a copy of something they never gave me originally. Please don’t support this shop. They are horrible.

Came in for an inspection on my 10 year old, very lived in Subaru Crosstrek. Scott & Lissa were helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating to my circumstances. I left road ready and feeling safe putting my infant in the car.

Very happy with this Monro location. They were able to put my car on the diagnostic thing when my dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree one morning. Other nearby shops couldn’t take me for days but this Monro said to come right in. I was sold from then on. Just got my car inspected and again the experience was great!

I had my vehicle worked on for a mysterious transmission issue, and it turned out to be the shifter cable. After it's initial service, the vehicle failed less than a few hours off the lot. I called back the next morning, and honestly wasn't too happy with my initial conversation (feeling like I was going to have to spend a lot more time and money figuring it out, without much sympathy), but they sent the tech who did the repair (Rich) my information, and HE. WAS. A. GODSEND. And I'm not even a particularly religious person, haha. He handled the issue with so much compassion and understanding, came to work on my car remotely on his own time, and fixed the issue well enough (with virtually 0 tools) to get me across the state and back with no issue until we could work on a more permanent solution. Easily one of my favorite mechanics I've ever worked with, and I plan to come to him for all future work. Thanks Rich!!!

They should really stop trying to treat people like they’re stupid. I didn’t realize car places were still trying to run scams like this. Like many other reviews I went in for a state inspection. They failed me and said I needed two tires and new front brakes. They wanted $980 for it. Now. I take care of my own car, do my oil changes, change my tires. I knew I didn’t need front brakes and that it only costs me $500 to get ALL FOUR tires replaced. Even cheaper when I install them myself. I told them I couldn’t afford it and left. I got a second opinion just to be safe and while I do need new tires my brakes are fine, the brake pads didn’t even need a replacement. People are not stupid. $980 for two tires and brakes I didn’t need? Ridiculous. Be very careful about price gouging and scams here especially if you’re a woman taking your car in by yourself. It is 2024. It’s really time for places like these to get a grip.

Fantastic staff! Super helpful and being a woman I know other shops try to take advantage and they didn’t do that!!! Instead they gave me super helpful information about what to do and my car is now fantastic!!!

I had an amazing experience getting my oil changed today. I was able to make an appointment in the morning and was set for 12:30, they took me early and I was out quickly. They also have an office dog that was an added bonus!!!!

I've been getting my annual inspection done here for years and they've always been kind, fair and honest. No pushy upsell ever. I moved but still drive here and wait when I need service. Thank you all. Wonderful team

I needed a work truck fixed in a tight window of time. The manager Scott and the service techs at Monro were able to fit me in on a Saturday and quickly got my truck repaired so it can be back on the jobsite Monday morning. I feel the price was fair.

Had my windshield replaced& needed new stickers issued. I was told it would cost less than $5. However, it ends up being $24. Perhaps I was misquoted by the windshield shop- but I fear I received the Woman price.

I had a screw in my tire. It says on-line that they are open at 9am on Sunday. I got there at 8:50am and the sign in the window says it opens at 9am. No worker showed up and I left at 9:15am to go to another place. Very disappointing and inconvenience.

In the past couple months I’ve had plugs, fluids, tires, and inspection done on my Forester, here. Lissa and Scott rule- they are straight forward, helpful and reasonably priced. I’ll keep coming to them for routine maintenance. Thanks!

Dropped car off at 10:15 am for a state inspection and oil change and car was not ready until 7pm. I was told I had to pay over the phone and I could pick up my car the next day. Then I was told the shop was closed the next day and I had to get there in 5 minutes because the worker wanted to go home. Left oil marks on my passenger car seat.

Hit a big pothole and had an immediate bubble in my tire. I called when it happened and they were able to get me in within 30 minutes of calling and had two new tires replaced within an hour. Great fast service without any hassle!!!

Hours from home and evening time after work I Got a flat and found this place was close by. I CALLED AHEAD to ensure that they would have the correct tire and time to put it on for me. However, when I arrived they said they didn't have one in stock. They did have correct tires but weren't exactly the same as the other ones on the truck. I practically begged them to put one of those on it but the lawyers took priority. Unfortunately since I had wasted so much time bringing the truck here every other shop was closed or would be closing before I could get another tow. Ended up out the cost of an Uber, a hotel, expensive delivery food, and had to walk two hours from the hotel back to the shop to avoid more expenses I can't afford. It's not Monro fault that I got a flat (nor was it mine, as I was run off the road by an inattentive driver and hit a curb to avoid hitting her car), but if they hadn't told me that they had a tire here I could have found another shop in the evening. Changed from 1 star to 2 because at least by the time I had walked back they actually had a tire to put on, though sitting here in the filth of the same disgusting clothes I've had on since yesterday smelling like a trash can, and knowing that I half killed myself at work yesterday just to spend most of what I made on basically nothing it's pretty difficult to feel grateful.

The shop itself seems awesome, but there is a mechanic there that doesn’t speak English as his first language and for whatever reason, he tries to be as difficult as possible. He needs to really work on his customer service skills or not deal with customers. Two times in less than a week he’s attempted to make the situation more difficult than it needs to be

I called in to see if they had any availability for an oil change, they took my car in immediately. I expressed some concerns with my oil changes before and Scott & his team showed me things on my car, issues that I was running into & really explained things to me so I would understand them. I told Scott that I was trading this car in tomorrow and he asked about the new car and who my technician would be in the future, let me tell you, IM GOING TO SCOTT. he was helpful and friendly and took time to answer my questions. I appreciate genuine kindness and he will always have my business!! Thank you Scott & Team!
