Support staff is really friendly and its a welcoming service and I would like to revisit again. John is a really good supportive and it’s very affordable to go to the Monroe service repair. I went for oil change and I’m quite quite satisfied with their service. I would highly recommend this service

We had brake issues on our 9 hour drive to Pittsburgh. Not knowing places there, we did some online research and chose this Monro. So very glad we did! They were friendly and professional. Best of all they resolved our brake problem and did so quickly and at a good price. Couldn’t recommend more!!!

Had a fantastic experience getting my car inspected and emissions tested yesterday. John was friendly, efficient and thorough. I wish I knew the name of the gentleman who finished my car up who was also extremely kind! Highly recommend this spot for anyone in need of services.

I got new tires and needed an alignment asap. After having visited 3 other Monro locations in the same day, Jon and Lamar came through and saved the day! The first two locations I visited couldn’t fit me in (one for 2 weeks and one for 2 days) and after having been “serviced” at the third location for an hour and a half, I was told they could not perform my wheel alignment because they couldn’t get the parts loosened. I called the Dormont location giving Monro one last shot (fourth try of the day) and a very friendly Jon answered. I informed him of my situation and he and Lamar welcomed me in. As soon as I got there, Lamar got started immediately and was done with the 4 wheel alignment within 45 minutes without any issues. Very pleased with the service of both of these gentlemen. If I would have known how smooth things would go, I would have went here first - without a doubt. They both deserve a raise! Thanks again guys!

I took my car here because the heat was not working. After the mechanic checked my car he said it was low on coolant. He added the coolant to my car. He did not charge me for this which I greatly appreciated. Also he gave me some education on when to add coolant to the car because I told him I wanted to learn how to do this myself so when this happens again I can do it instead of brining my car to another mechanic. I appreciate the knowledge and would gladly recommend this place to anyone.

I walked in today with a last minute appointment (oil change + inspection), and both people working were accommodating and made sure I got everything I needed, all while still handling things with care and precision. I couldn’t have had a better experience.

My son went to Monro for me because my suv has a warranty and that’s where I was told to go. The man who waited on my son was rude, and very impatient. I was on FaceTime because I can’t leave my house due to throat cancer. He was pushing for us to buy tires and a battery but would not check the car for the reason my son brought it in. (When you turn the wheel it was thumping.) He kept saying that he don’t think my insurance will cover the problem we are having but who would even put the car up to look and see what was wrong. I was trying to ask questions over the phone, and he was getting very upset. Then he told my son to go somewhere else. Terrible customer service

We had a wonderful experience here today. We are from out of town and my friend’s tire had a leak which turned out to be a nail. Lamar checked out the tire within 5 minutes, found the issue, installed the new tire and we were on our way quickly. Great customer service!

I was on my way to work on Saturday and got a flat tire. I called them to see if they could handle this today. I said I could be there in 5 mins and leave it. They said yes and had it completed within a couple of hours. It was a big time saver for me. I was so thankful to them that they made that happen the same day and on a Saturday.

I went to Monro Auto tire in Dormont on Saturday September 14th. They replaced my brakes and roters. That evening I smelt burnt rubber and had a knocking noise coming from my brakes. I brought it back on Sunday to have them look at it again. They told me everything was fine. That it was my transmission Mount and to take to dealership. Still had burnt rubber and knocking noise Sunday evening. Then took it to dealer to be looked at. They said it was the after market brake pads they put on that were causing all the trouble. Wouldn’t go there again

Monro Muffler 3145 West Liberty Ave. Shop 565 Pittsburgh, PA 15216 On August 13th, I visited Monro for my annual inspection and emissions. I got a phone call from an employee from Monro. They said I needed rear brakes and rotors needed replaced. I said to do it. On the invoice replacing the brake pads cost a total of $199, including labor. Brake rotors cost $350, including labor. All in; 549.99. At the beginning of September when driving to get groceries I noticed a very loud clicking sound coming from the rear of my Jeep. I decided not to take my Jeep back to Monro, I called a local car repair shop near my home and had my Jeep at his shop later that week. After inspecting things, here’s what he found: The right rear lower caliper bracket bolt was missing. The other bolt was loose. Monro installed all of my old hardware. I was missing two shims on the left rear side. There was lube on the bolts. No locktite was used. The rear driver side bolts were loose. The left rear upper guide pin was dry and no lube was used. All of the pad shims were not aligned to the pads. Overall, the repair cost was $251. On Saturday September 14th I decided to pay a visit to Monro on West Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, Pa. I spoke with Ray who claimed to the the manager. I asked him explain to me what work was done to my Jeep in August. He stated rear brakes and rotors were replaced, and the Jeep was inspected and emissions test was done. I showed Ray the invoice from the other shop. I then pulled out the ruined brake pads that showed the misalignment of the shims. I then asked Ray how can we make this “right”. Ray’s comeback was “ if I wouldn’t have waited a month before coming back in”. I let Ray know that I work from home and I rarely drive nowadays. No apology, no responsibility taken; not even a “I’m sorry for your inconvenience. Quite sad…. I am now in the process of trying to get my money back that this company stole from me. I would think twice taking your investment there for even an oil change, let alone any tire or brake work.

Took car in for an inspection and oil change and they could get me in quickly. They noticed issue with battery so I got that fixed too. The following week ran into exaust issues and they replaced it for me which was quite expensive but they didn’t charge for labor because of all the work I had done with them. They are friendly, fast, and dependable, especially John, who helped me out both times!

Took my car in for inspection today ! Was screwed over by another garage and John was absolutely fabulous! I called him yesterday in a jam and he was so kind ! He not only got me in but the service was fabulous! GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE !
