Called for a last minute NYS inspection, mine was overdue, he told me to come right in. Once there I asked for a quote on specific snow tires, 1300. Keith suggested a similar tire that was less expensive and a longer warranty for about 400 to 500 cheaper. I will probably return to Keith to purchase those tires. Thank you so much for your service and honesty.

I really appreciate that they were able to fit me in and have my daughter's car done with in a timely fashion. Keith and the tech there were very friendly ,I would recommend to give them a try, especially if your getting your oil changed found out using a grouppn may seem like your saving money but for the cost to have my oil changed at other places, I was also able to have the tires rotated for no charge essentially . I will definitely bring our other vehicles here.

I’ve been going to Monro Muffler on Dewey Avenue for years, and they’ve always taken great care of me. Keith L., the manager, is such a great guy—always friendly and easy to work with. He really knows how to make customers feel appreciated. The service here is reliable, the prices are fair, and they get the job done right every time. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Management staff shows they prefer you not wait with your vehicle. Sometimes that’s people only alternative. The tone in which you speak to your customers says a lot. Not what you say but HOW you say it.

Brought my car in Friday to change out a headlight at 8 AM. It wasn’t ready until the next day at 2 PM. They charged me $250 for a headlight.

I had a flat tire after work on Thursday evening so I stopped at the Dewey/Latta rd location they were AWESOME. It was very busy and near the end of their shift but they fixed my tire and didn’t charge me for the valve stem fix. Thank you so very much I will definitely be back as I know tires are in my future

My experience with Monroe has been very good over the years. They do try to help customers keep costs down as much as possible. In my personal experience, they do not try to upsell. But they will mention other repairs if they are necessary or critical.

They are always so willing to help and explain what needs to be fixed on my car even when they are busy. I won't take my car anywhere else. They are really working for you to fix your car and get the needed materials.

Great experience at Monro on Dewey. I was able to get an inspection done same day on 09/18, despite the shop being extremely busy. I noticed the manager went above and beyond to help customers get in and out quickly. He was constantly going into the shop to help his team, answering phone calls and providing updates to customers waiting. Great leadership and service. This will be the place I go from now on.

Had an extremely disappointing and poor service at this location. My tire was leaking air (would go from about 35psi down to about 20 psi overnight). The tire has a clear and visible puncture on the side wall. I bought a brand new tire and came to this shop to get it installed. As I was waiting in the shop, the guy working on my car came inside to get his manager because he said the tire machine wasn’t working properly. The new tire was mounted about 15 minutes later. I went home and woke up the next morning to find the tire was completely flat. The air pressure went from 35psi to 0 overnight. I took the car back to the shop, and they lifted the car up and notified my that the rim has a crack in it. That crack was not there before and it had to happen during the installing process. The manager kept insisting it was not their doing but could not explain how it is possible for the tire to be losing pressure now with a new tire than it did before, even if the crack was there before. They refused to even consider the possibility that it happened by accident there. Also even if the crack was there when they installed the tire, what kind of technican does not see the crack or notify the customer of this. Now this will cost me another $250 to get a new rim. Absolutely horrible service and work quality. Save yourself the headache and extra money, and go elsewhere. Never coming back here again.

I had car problems and broke down on the shoulder of 390, and had myself towed here. Keith and the guys cleared all of the diagnostic codes that had appeared, then replicated the codes multiple times to get a more accurate diagnostic read. Keith and his guys were absolutely honest about the fact that they could try fixing it, but I would really be better off taking it to the dealership, and that the parts that caused the issue were most likely under warranty. What could have been a $1,200+ repair ended up being covered by my vehicle warranty/the dealership. Honesty and integrity is what it's all about - it's hard to find out there, especially when it comes to money. These guys absolutely have the level of honesty and integrity that makes me feel comfortable recommending them to anyone having car issues.

Will be sticking to Valvoline for oil changes. Not only the most expensive oil change I have ever had AND it was with a Groupon but was told they couldn’t do a tire rotation due to my lug nuts being seized. I went home and untightened them by hand with a tire iron. Thanks

The other day I was in the area and needed to have air put in my tire. And while I was there, i inquired about seeing if they could do an oil change as well. They were able to do it right away. They were fast, efficient and very helpful! Great customer service!

Came in on a Thursday to schedule all new break pads and rotors and oil change for the following Tuesday. Show up at my appointment time Tuesday morning at 9:00, nothing is in stock, so she said it will take an extra hour or so, no problem. As I’m waiting for my ride who had to take their lunch break early just to pick me up, the lady at the front desk tell me they can’t get any of the parts until tomorrow. So I had my relative waste their lunch break driving to get me and I took the day off work and lost a days worth of pay for nothing. Very unorganized, I will never spend another penny here and tell everyone I know not to do business at this place. STAY AWAY.

Pretty pissed off at the surface at this company. I had a front end alignment done in August that when I went to pick it up they said it needed an outer tie rod to get the specs right which they should have told me before I picked it up. They said but go ahead and drive it you have a 6-month warranty I brought it back and they're trying to get me for over $850 for an inner and outer tie rod with a front end alignment which I can buy for $45 and outer tie rod online. It is a really easy job. The mechanic shops love ripping people off.
