Met with a private seller here and they got me in for an inspection last minute and I was blown away by how thorough it was, close up pictures and VIDEO!! And texted me the full inspection report. Very professional and didn't talk down to me at all Can't recommend enough

Took my car in for a check engine light issue, the repair cost were a lot more than I expected but i understood parts, labor were all a factor if I wanted a working vehicle. I’ve never been to an auto shop with text updates, video and pictures to show you what issues your car is having I thought that was very cool. The people I talked to were very nice and I felt like I was in good hands from the start to the end. My car feels WAYYY better . Will be looking to use their services again if I ever need them. Big shoutout to this shop!

Brought my 2012 VW EOS to Montclare and couldn’t be happier with the service! Anyone that knows VWs, knows they can be complicated. Pedro and his staff did an engine swap and the car is running great! I’m very pleased and will be going back for all my car’s needs!

I have not received such a high-level of customer service from any other automotive company. Danny and Pedro are exceptionally communicative and accommodating. I will never take my vehicle to another auto mechanic ever. They went out of their way to pick me up and bring me there so that I could pick up my car and let me know everything that have been done in detail and were so accommodating. I wish I could tell every single person in Chicago who owns a car about them and they would not be disappointed to use Montclair automotive.

We started using this shop several years ago when moving to the neighborhood and immediately loved it. It recently sold to new owners and we were worried that the great service and prices might decrease; however the new owners only made it somehow even better than it was before. We will continue to take our car here for anything that we need done that they can handle as well as constantly recommend them to anyone that might need some automotive work done!

Everyone in that auto shop are awesome. They did car inspection on my daughter's vehicle. They were very honest about the issues that needed it to get fix on the vehicle with pictures taken and explain the problems on the vehicle plus the costs. They did an oil change and tighten a loose nut on the front struts. Thank you!

One of my clients went to this Auto Repair and was charged an astronomical amount of money for a quick fix of simply pulling a brake guard out which is a thin piece of metal on the inside of the wheel. This metal is placed with a tiny screw to prevent dust from hitting the brakes, which moved inward slightly from regular wear and tare, which caused a rubbing noise. This client was a soft-spoken gentleman who was taken advantage of!!! Do not send your mom or POP to this place they will rip them off!!! Lousy Mechanic!!!

This is the 2nd time I've brought my classic here for repairs. I'm a little hesitant about leaving a good review here because I feel like the more people know about this place the harder it'll be for me to get in and have them service my car when it needs another repair. They are thorough when it comes to repairing my car. They are honest in their quotes and diagnosis. This is my new go to mechanic. Great service and communication from them!
