We started using this shop several years ago when moving to the neighborhood and immediately loved it. It recently sold to new owners and we were worried that the great service and prices might decrease; however the new owners only made it somehow even better than it was before. We will continue to take our car here for anything that we need done that they can handle as well as constantly recommend them to anyone that might need some automotive work done!

This is the 2nd time I've brought my classic here for repairs. I'm a little hesitant about leaving a good review here because I feel like the more people know about this place the harder it'll be for me to get in and have them service my car when it needs another repair. They are thorough when it comes to repairing my car. They are honest in their quotes and diagnosis. This is my new go to mechanic. Great service and communication from them!

Everyone in that auto shop are awesome. They did car inspection on my daughter's vehicle. They were very honest about the issues that needed it to get fix on the vehicle with pictures taken and explain the problems on the vehicle plus the costs. They did an oil change and tighten a loose nut on the front struts. Thank you!

One of my clients went to this Auto Repair and was charged an astronomical amount of money for a quick fix of simply pulling a brake guard out which is a thin piece of metal on the inside of the wheel. This metal is placed with a tiny screw to prevent dust from hitting the brakes, which moved inward slightly from regular wear and tare, which caused a rubbing noise. This client was a soft-spoken gentleman who was taken advantage of!!! Do not send your mom or POP to this place they will rip them off!!! Lousy Mechanic!!!

Hi. This was my first experience with Montclare Auto Repair since Ken & Bob. I was pleasantly surprised how updated everything was, from the way they texted you the inspection detail with photos to the station itself. I was pleased with the work done on my old car, and they negotiated with me on some of the pricing items. Overall, I received excellent service and would recommend them to whomever reads this review. 👍

Montclare provided me with a detailed analysis of the problems identified in their system. In addition they included a photo of the issue they identified! I’ve never received such an honest appraisal from any repair shop! Montclare picked up the phone when I called and used text messages to communicate with me! I’m very happy with their services and the work they did on my precious car!

This is my 2nd time using Montclare Auto Repair but I’ve been going to this location for years when it was still New England Diversey Auto. I’m still getting the same great service with Montclare as I was getting years prior. Customer service is great as well and they are fair and transparent on pricing. They also integrate technology in service and communication which makes understanding what’s being done and pricing of things easy to follow and clear.
