My son brought his diesel truck (From Dallas)! to this place for regular maintenance. I asked him to also take my VW in for oil change. The diesel service is no longer available (or maybe the good tech, not sure which). Had the oil change done, but the next time I drove the car after the oil change the check engine light came on. This was Friday before Labor day holiday. Hoping it was a "fluke" tried driving the car again Saturday AM and the car stopped accelerating. No services anywhere until Tuesday! Towed the VW to Wittler who specializes in German cars. They found the Air filter clamp cracked. (new tire filter one year ago). My guess is the clamp was bumped by a careless technician who had no idea of the damage. The lack of acceleration turn out to be a safety measure some manufactures use to prevent further engine damage. /Being without a vehicle while entertaining out of town house guests on a holiday weekend is a Royal Pain!! It is obvious this place is not the place to go if you have a foreign car, even if it is a "simple" oil change! I did not contact this business about the problem as it was my fault thinking most any competent car mechanic can do an oil change on any car! Please learn from my mistake - do not choose convenience over quality! The cost of convenience was: missed weekend events, the cost of the change ($150), plus a tow plus $200. to repair the $150 maintenance!! plus the time spent getting all the work scheduled and completed!

They got my stepdaughters car in on short notice as she is leaving to college, stayed late to ensure the car was safe and complete for her to pick up before driving back to AZ. Super nice of them, much appreciated.

This is the third time I have used their services, as always, Russ and the teams are friendly and professional! My 2010 Ridgeline had vsa and exclamation mark light on dash. Russ was kind enough to do a quick code scan for me right away after I did a quick stop by. The codes turns out to be either yaw sensor/steering angle sensor/ vsa module. On the day of service, Russ and his team managed to fix the problem without changing any parts (reprogrammed). I did a 2 hrs driving the next day on interstate to test out if the codes reappeared and it didn’t! So far I am truly satisfied that they might have fixed the problem but I believe prolong period of time is needed to prove if the issue is completely fixed… Oh yeah and they had flawlessly completed the fuel pump replacement too! Anyway, Russ and the teams have my full trust on getting the job done well and professionally! Thank you so much!

After brake masters declined to service the brakes on my 68 Oldsmobile Cutlass - purely because it has drums in the front - I decided to give this place a call because they were recommended by a friend. Going to take it in on Monday and I'm sure they'll get me taken care of

Best shop in Albuquerque hands-down. I’ve been ripped off quite a bit on my truck and people kept saying my truck was too old. Russ got my truck running like it was brand new again. I might’ve been a little bit of a pain, but they were patient with me and listen to my problems and issues. Their customer service is outstanding they’re very patient and very honest. If I could give this 10 stars, I would on the service that I have Received.💯

!!!!Longterm Update!!!!! its been a little over a year since my last review. This place has continued to be upright and professional. They will go above and beyond and are just straightforward and good people. I have and will contiue to recommend this place for any and all automotive mechanic needs. This place has been amazing. Being new to the area when I stopped by the guy at the counter took time to address the issue so I didnt damage my truck. Went above and beyond and have been back since that time for other issues. If you want an honest place, that has good prices even in these trying times when everything has gone through the roof, this is the place. Would 100% recommend to friends and family and thats when you know you have a good mechanic!

Dropped in based on Google reviews for a tire plug. They fixed it on the fly and charged me $25. Great price, fast service.

Had my 2010 Ridgeline done on timing belt and water pump. They are definitely professional and friendly! Everything is clear and the app that they used to confirm on the job you approved is amazing! The truck runs great and I will definitely recommend anyone to get their car maintained and checked up!

I don’t live in Albuquerque, but my elderly mother uses them and says they treat her like their mother. They pick up and drop off her car to take care of whatever she needs, sometimes don’t charge for things like fixing her tire with a nail in it, and she raves about how wonderful they are to her and to the other older ladies in her senior facility. Since I live in another state I can’t ever do anything to help her and I worry about her, but it’s a relief to know there’s a place like this that maintains her car in good shape.

I had the best experience here. I called and set up an appointment super easily a couple days in advance. Mechanics were able to figure out the problem pretty quickly, and got it done in a timely matter with a fair price. Pamela specifically was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. She explained everything and let me know all of what she was seeing. She answered all my questions and made me feel so at ease with the whole thing. I waited in their lobby for about half an hour and all of the employees were so sweet. The lobby had water, some snacks, toys for kids, etc. Was just a nice place to wait in! I never leave reviews but just had to leave one for these guys. Would highly recommend 👍

I would have had to wait for 2 weeks to see my normal ford service department. Another business needed a week. This business saw me the next day I called. They repaired my front and rear brakes and did it all in 2 days. It would have been one but I had to think about the cost. The cost was also quite reasonable, all in all I would give them 10/5 stars!!!

If you are looking for honest, reliable mechanics, look no further. They did amazing service on my older Honda, and the process from drop-off to pick up was seamless. Super transparent inspection with a very useful application that lets you see what they find. Good pricing, and I was able to speak to mechanics about which parts that I wanted ordered for my car, and where I wanted them purchased from. They promptly fixed other unseen issues that were found during service, and were able to show me the parts that had needed replacement on short notice! Amazing service, car is running much better, kept the interior spotless during their work too. They were super flexible on pick up and drop off even with me getting called into work. Will be bring my Honda back, and any other vehicles my family needs work on in the future. Thanks again Celisa, Russ, Tim, & everyone else working there!

In response to your comments: This is first I've heard about any "melting" of the fuse box. Neither you mentioned this when the car was in your possession, and Melloy Nissan did not mention it. I will inspect it personally, but I find it odd neither of you mentioned it. Also, I am SO thankful I took the car to a different shop. You charged me over $400 to diagnose it and you diagnosed it WRONG. You didn't ask for "more" time to diagnosed it. You told me you found the issue and it would be $2500. What if I gave you the green light? I would have spent $2900 and the issue still would have not been fixed. I know your time is valuable but I don't believe a well trained, knowledgeable shop should just keep charging their hourly rate if they are chasing their own tail. In fact, Melloy told me they had a $120 rate for diagnostic but they would not just run the tally up. They would only charge the $120 until they found the problem. And they found the problem pretty fast when you guys over-looked it. Thank you for giving my daughter a ride. I did not know that and I really appreciate it. I also appreciate the refund and I respect you for recognizing your mistake and making good on it. I don't think my review is vitriol (cruel and bitter). I think it is accurate. I think you guys did a poor job of diagnosing the car. I think you guys charged way too much just to "look" for the problem. I think you guys started throwing parts at the car when you couldn't find the cause...and I think that in itself is wrong. (UPDATE-> Turns out MC AUTO misdiagnosed my car. After getting it repaired at Melloy Nissan, I called them and let them know they misdiagnosed the vehicle and that they charged me $412 for nothing. They instantly refunded my money with no argument. I give them props for that and appreciate them admitting they were wrong). BEWARE. I used these reviews to find a place for my daughter who goes to college at UNM. Sent her there. They charged $412 just to LOOK at the issues (2.5 hours labor they said). After that, they had NO answers except to "start" with replacing the fuse box and then go from there. Quote? $2565.00. So almost $3000 and they wouldn't be sure it would be fixed. NO THANKS! Called the Nissan dealership and they quoted the same repair for $1330. The part was going to be $1514 at Morris and only $1100 at the DEALERSHIP! When did a dealership become MORE affordable? (Also to note, I found the exact brand new part online through two actual Nissan dealerships for $735). When I asked Morris about why the part was $400 more through them, they said "well we have to have a "mark-up" to make money. Well you made $411 by LOOKING at the car. Never again. Be very careful when choosing.

I’m posting a 5 star review BEFORE my vehicle is done. Why? Because of the way they analyzed and priced out the work I need done (no padded labor charges for replacing belts when they have to take them off anyway). Honest, no upsell, and great technology. They texted links to photos and checklists of their inspections and findings. Awesome!

This place is great! Very reasonably priced and they take time to make sure you understand what they’re doing and why. I’ve even brought estimates for work others have said that I needed, and they’ve looked and told me why I don’t really need to have that done. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else in Albuquerque.
