Quick, Efficient and Great Service! Very refreshing to deal with a team that cares about their customers end to end. I called the day of my visit (found them on Yelp and selected them based on their great reviews) and the guy over the phone was genuine and quoted me for a headlight bulb replacement. Came in without an appt same day and they took care of the issue so fast! They have wifi and a comfy waiting area. Will be coming back here for sure. Thank you!

I am posting this review on MOTEC about my MOTEC experience in stead of Infiniti of Kerney Mesa where it should be posted because Infiniti parents need a service home where our beloved Gs and Qs will get the amazing TLC that is so important to us. My IKM of past experiences is posted on their bad review sight. My latest experience was in 2022. I asked IKM to renew my cooling system hoses. I used term "uppers and lowers". I'm 84. Back in 196ANALOG it ment ALL coolant hoses. $700 and 3 months later coolant oder had me back to the news that there are 4 coolant hoses in the system. $400 more. Oct 2024 and a catastrophic flood of coolant in the driveway had me in a auto repair shop anxious sweat. A guy I know who helps his MB 550, MB AMG, BMW 5X, Dodge Hellcat and others simply "showroom" was a conduit to MOTEC. I made the call. They got me right in, found the problem was a failed plastic part the size of my wife's lipstick.Factory part installed in 2012. If you love your ride this is the team you want.

I was just there this morning at 11..my car makes noise for a while .. I went some other places and mechanics can’t figure it out ,,one place replaced joint balls the other replaced the axle and still make noises Adolfo found out some screws got loose, so they tightened up for me without charging anything…,,,,,,,Immediately ,,,,,the car no longer makes cranking noise .. Adolfo is amazing person, good hearted .. very honest.. As woman , I have had so much bad experience in the past ..so many places scam me, but I finally found this place. I can trust,, thank you so much…. Adolfo …I definitely will be back,, I like ur big living room .. I mean waiting room ..🌷🌹🌷🌹👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Motec took great care of our fleet vehicle and made sure it was running safe and smooth. From the communication, to showing me all of the replaced parts when I arrived to pick it up, this shop is amazing and I highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable mechanic.

I took a used car here for a pre-purchase inspection. Motec mechanics found over $1,000 worth of repairs that needed to be done on the car. I then took the same car to my usual trusted mechanic who charged twice as much for the inspection but found all the same problems, so I'm going to use Motec from now on. Also, this place has the nicest customer waiting lounge I've seen anywhere in San Diego, better than any doctor's office.

Absolutely great service and at a good value price point. The team showed me the used engine and suspension parts they replaced and explained the wear. Adolfo and Rand are Amazing! They charged me probably 50% less than other places quoted, they drove me to the gym while I waited for repairs, and they did a great job on my car! Also they have the coolest shop waiting room I’ve ever been in, complete with a pool table and more! -Thank you so much Rand and Adolfo! I’ll be back!

I came here last year (I believe) for an oil change with my own oil and filters, and they made it super simple and easy to get done. I've come back now to have them do the oil change again, and it's running smooth. You can wait in the lobby if you've schedule a time (do the mornings if possible), and can have some coffee they got available while you wait. Friendly service and they tend to know the right questions to ask.

Over the weekend, our SUV's tire was losing air and we were already halfway through our road trip so we used fix-a-flat. I called Motec and spoke with Adolfo and he was so helpful and friendly. I brought my car in and he was able to get it checked out and told me it was good and that the leak was fixed. He was very helpful and friendly. He gave me sound advice as well.

The mechanic found a nail in one of my tires during rotation. They repaired it free of charge. They even showed me the nail. That’s a personal touch you don’t get at your average shop.

These guys were very helpful and flexible with my schedule. I was able to leave my car there early and placed my keys in their drop off box. I also picked up my car after they were closed and they gave me specific instructions on how to do so. So accommodating! My car is running very well. They also gave me a good discount. Very personable.

This was my second time here and I'm super happy with their customer service and their work. This second time was unfortunately because I was involved in a car accident and my car was considerably damaged in front. Now my car looks like new y their did in an asome turn around timeline. After the dealership failed to diagnose and repair the A/C leak in my 2006 GMC Sierra I was fortunate enough to find MoTec Auto Repair. I dropped it off at 10:00 am on a very busy day. Raul strongly suspected a leaking condenser. Within an hour he had confirmed the problem and had the new one installed, the circuit flushed filled and tested by 3:00 pm for a little over $600. I think we have probably all felt hustled by a shop or two in the industry! When I find an honest, competent auto shop I stick to them like glue! I am super impressed with MoTec !

Hands down the best auto repair experience I've ever had, dare I say best customer service I've ever had. Raul and his team deliver quality work and do not cut corners in anything even when it would be much more convenient and cost-effective for them to just settle and do the bare minimum. Everyone is really helpful, professional and generous. I've already recommended them to all my co-workers and I'm so thankful I was referred to them. I trust them completely and if I ever have auto issues in the future, I will definitely go back to them.

I don’t really write reviews, but it always good to recognize when someone has a good heart. My car broke down near the mechanics stop even though I was not planning on going there. I did not want to call towing nor deal with fixing the car by myself. I walked down to Adolfo, who was nice enough to listen to my inquiry first and then came to help me and got the car fixed as It was a minor issue with the battery. Thank you again Adolfo keep being who you are. We need people like you.

Motec is great they were able to fix my Prius which has red triangle issues and also trouble shoot AC not working. This place is where I will always bring all my vehicle. They will treat you right, no games.

My car was in an awful collision. it was towed 20 mins to this shop, the employee was completely inconsiderate and unhelpful. he refused to take the car because we didn’t have a picture of the other guys insurance information, despite us making a police report and the officer collecting the information. he had a tone, was unnecessarily condescending and unsympathetic.

The headlight in my Jeep went out during a rainy day and needed to be changed asap! My Jeep was brought here and the staff there were so friendly and accommodating. They were able to get me in at short notice and without appointment. 10/10 would definitely recommend them.

These guys do a great job. They have an awesome waiting area. Plenty of seating. Water & coffee are available. They even have a pool table to keep you busy while you wait.

Thought it was the high pressure power steering hose that was leaking. Motec did a comprehensive look at the steering rack and power system. Found the leak was in the return line. Not expensive at all. I was getting ready for a track day so they made the car track ready and I had a great time. Great job Motec!

Staff was great and friendly. They fixed mine and my brothers car. Definitely coming here from now on if I need more work done. Highly recommend !
