First time customer. 2004 Honda CVR check engine light code P0134 replace air/fuel ratio sensor. Team replaced both upstream/downstream sensors and catalytic converter due to blockage. Smog inspection was due, completed same day (I didn't have to make a return appointment, so thoughtful). AND driver side window stopped working so long ago I can't recall when, which I discovered when driving home was fixed at no charge! Highly recommend Motive Car Care. Thank you Sean and team.

Sean (owner) goes out of his way to help you. The staff is terrific and gets your vehicle repaired at a good reasonable price. Very honest and down to earth. Been coming there forever will not go anywhere else.

Have always received great service here. Honest mechanic. Only downside for me is the location. Not on public transportation line so you either need to have some one pick you up after dropping your car off or call an uber. Same situation when picking your car up. If just getting quick service you can wait.

Motive exclusively work on my old Toyota Tacoma for almost years I think. They are great guys, and like yesterday they fixed it funding less work needed than I thought. They never findd extra things that need to be “‘fixed”. An excellent, trustworthy place. Cannot recommend higher. MA in North Highlands

Great service as usual. Brought my pickup truck here for a valve cover gasket replacement, a smog, an oil change and thermostat housing replacement. After mostly sitting for 2 years (but started weekly), we were a bit wary whether it would pass smog. Thankfully, it did, and now it's road-worthy again. Now I have no excuse not to take 2 years of aluminum cans down to the recycler!!

Over the years this has become my go to shop. I have an old converted mini school bus. No one wants to work on it but for getting it smogged and doing small work on the bus this shop has been great. They are friendly, help answer questions and give you options so you can choose what you want to do. I’ll continue to take my cars here and get their help.

Went in to find exact cause for check engine light to come on (08, dodge charger). The guy did just that. Told me what's wrong after diagnostic. Went home and fix what he said and my car engine light turned off. Very relieved cuz I did go to other shop and was told this and that and always pressured me to let them fix it at a high price. In short, this shop was very honest, felt no pressure and was precise on his diagnosis of my car. Very recommended.
