I am new to Georgia and had car trouble. I searched for a mechanic via internet and called a few people, but I kept shopping around and I found this business. He was so responsive, respectful and just went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed and also let me know what other things would need to be fixed. He also didn’t price gauge like some others. I found my permanent car repair shop!!! If I could rate 10 stars I would. My truck is running amazing!!! When I Say HE DID THAT!!!! FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT I FOUND HIM ON GOOGLE AND BASED OFF HIS REVIEWS THAT'S WHAT MADE ME GIVE HIM A CALL. After my car was rear-ended, the owner at this shop Mr. Lowe, sold me a used car. I've had it for almost a year now & with the exception of some regular light maintenance, I've not had any issues or needed any major repairs. Mr. Lowe does great work in a timely manner. He's courteous, very professional, and he always charges a fair price. I highly recommend.

I can say many positive words to describe his work performance. Overall his work is outstanding always friendly and respectful when it comes to communication. Always ready to help when you need him. He fixed many problems that I had with my Nissan Altima 2005 and he got working to the point where it’s rarely any problem with. I wouldn’t have any other mechanic rather than Motorman. Y’all get at him.

I called him to see if he could do my tuneup same day. He never said he was working on somebody’s else’s car and told me to come on. I made my way there. He had me travel 1hr and 15 minutes in traffic from Marietta in a box truck, to his small of a shop in the most tightest alley way in Decatur, for him to not be there or answer my calls. I had to call him from another number for him to answer. He was supposed to do my tuneup. I explained that I already had the plugs, not the factory plugs he wanted me to have, but the plugs that I could afford at the time, which were still iridium plugs that my truck required. Just not the name brand he suggested and wanted me to use. Then he demanded that I purchase another part, because of his experience, in which I did, though my budget was tight. When I finally spoke to him, he sounded disappointed, kept repeating that he couldn’t work on my truck while hot, and never gave me a timeframe of how long it would take to cool off or how long it would take for him to return. In good faith, I sat at his shop for over an hour, allowing my truck to cool, believing he was going to show up and do my tune up. Well, he never showed up or called back, so I left. Thank God I was still able to get my plugs installed by another mechanic in the area. He may be experienced, however, he is young, cocky, unprofessional, very pricey and unwilling to work with individuals unless he knows you or your throwing vagina in his face. Lessons learned. I will only be dealing with mature mechanics from here on, shop or not. Be ready to spend all you got, your time, energy, gas, and money if you’re going to get work done by this so called motor man.

I had delivered one of my car projects back in May 2023 to Mr Jonard, so he can work replacing the engine on my 92 first Gen 3000gt Mitsubishi VR4. The car is a project with no good engine, and I paid to this mechanic the amount of $1300 for Labor and $3500 for a used engine. After many months of waiting and wasted time this mechanic never did anything on my car, this is the time that I still trying to get myoney back and he never do what he said. His an unprofessional mechanic, don't use this shop. Be aware of this mechanic. I will submit a complaint with the State General attorney and file a Lien to this shop or his house in order to get my full refund.

My experience at Motor Man Automotive has been an absolute nightmare and a horrific experience. It started when I contacted him for transmission line repairs on my older vehicle. The mechanic, eager to take on the job initially, quickly changed his stance. Despite my willingness to pay extra, the mechanic decided not to continue with the repairs. He then irresponsibly moved my van and parked it without my consent on a busy road, close to a yellow fire hydrant right outside his shop. This led to a disastrous mistake: while parking, he struck the hydrant. The damage to my van was severe. The hydrant's sharp edge tore into the fiberglass and the door. It took considerable effort on my part to uncover what happened. The yellow paint from the hydrant on my van, coupled with the white paint from my van on the hydrant, was clear evidence of the collision. I called the police to report this, but they didn't show up to inspect, leaving me without their assistance. When I tried to get help from other mechanics in the area to review camera footage or acknowledge the damage, no one was willing to assist. It wasn't until I connected with a local guy named JR that I could piece everything together. He helped me understand that the accident with the yellow fire hydrant was the cause of the damage. JR also pointed out that I should look at my receipt The receipt he gave me also was faulty his name or nor the business was on the receipt which made it more challenging for me when it comes to taking legal action the amount of unprofessionalism is simply unbearable when it comes to dealing with Motor Man I confronted motor man, about it led nowhere; he denied everything. After our initial discussion, he began ignoring my calls, exacerbating the already difficult situation. Furthermore, he lost the transmission dipstick during his inspection, forcing me to pay an additional $100 for a hard-to-find replacement. Because it's an older model and it's considered to be a vintage replacement the dipstick ended up been $100 Plus shipping Dealing with Motor Man Automotive has been deeply disappointing and regretful. his lack of professionalism and refusal to acknowledge the damage he caused has led me to pursue legal action,
