If you are in need of a new mechanic in Philadelphia, look no further. Kevin is a genuine person and an excellent mechanic. He was able to exchange the struts in my toyota corolla for a fair price. I also appreciated that he showed me the new installed parts after he completed the job.

I had 3 friends recommend Valatis motors to me when I was having trouble with my car and I can see why. They are honest mechanics who will tell you exactly what the problem is and how much it will cost to fix before doing any work. They fixed my 22 year old truck up enough to get it back on the road and able to drive to california and back. Kevin and the guys at Valatis are the best!

I love it here! It is local and they are very flexible with time. They always call me while working on my car to come up with a very affordable solution and aren't pushing me to do unnecessary work just to make a buck. Kevin is a genuinely great guy and mechanic! I've had long talks with him about his past and how he got into this trade. He is extremely insightful and very thorough. I highly recommend!!

Kevin at Valatis is a true friend of the community. Any issue that I have with my car I know that it will be done promptly and honestly. It’s very difficult to find a shop you can truly to trust. Kevin is such a high quality human being. He exudes honesty. I don't even know if his prices are competitive or not because you can't put a price on that level of service and trust. Kevin is always very upfront about my car. He is thorough. He never does the bare minimum. He is always looking out for red flags even if it is not what you brought your car in for. More than once, he has mentioned to me how important it is for him to do his work the right way because people trust their lives with their car. He takes his work seriously and this is the man I want working on my car. He is a man of faith, so for me this tells me all I need to know about him as a person and as a businessman. Highly recommend using him for all levels of work on your car. Always a pleasure to deal with him and interact with him.

Kevin is a great mechanic, honest and fair and incredibly nice. He’ll point out to you exactly what’s going on, even if he has to raise it up on the jack. Just so you understand exactly what the repair is. Very helpful.

Valatis is the best place to take your vehicle for any service needed. Honest, friendly and excellent work. Kevin does work on a few vehicles of mine (all over 10 years old).....and they are running like new! I will never take my vehicles any where else. Best mechanic in the city.

We love Valatis! We have lived in the neighborhood for almost 7 years and have been taking our car here ever since. They have been so good at helping us keep our car in good shape and also going above and beyond when we are in a pinch. When we recently had a flat tire, they rush ordered another one overnight and had our car back within 24 hours. As a family with children and one car, this was so huge for us! Having a trusted mechanic cannot be underestimated!!

I moved to South Philly and had Kevin do work on my car 3 times now. I trust them because I'm in my car 12 hours a day for work. Alignments, new tires, top offs, oil, trans, everything came out great. Thank you Valatis mechanics,( Duke) and I'll only be choosing this shop.
