The only reason why it's a two instead of a one is because the second truck that they fixed they actually fixed it but now when I took in the first truck which it's a Yukon that was supposed to get an alignment they did the alignments but it's still running the same I did text Josh he is a really nice guy he never responded back to me I wanted to know if they really did do the alignments or if they didn't for alignments do not trust them other things it depends on what I am going to have to buy new tires as you guys can see in the picture and for the alignments all I can say is go to a different place

They were great took me in right away after another MPG , could not due to personnel reasons. Taz the manager and his crew were awesome and kept informing me on my vehicle. Great experience

Highly recommend this place! Ask for Josh, he is such a great person that truly cares for his customers! He helped us out tremendously and we will be forever grateful. Definitely will be going back for any of our automotive needs. Thanks Josh and everyone else at MPG Automotive dyer.

THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF, THEY JUST CREATED MORE PROBLEMS ON MY VEHICLE, TOOK VERY LONG 1 MONTH AND STALLED THE DAY AFTER WE PICKED IT UP, WE WERE CHARGED FOR TOWING AND OUR TOYOTA IS NOT RUNNING, THESE SO CALLED MECHANICS ARE INCOMPETENT, THIS PLACE DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE A 1 STAR. 000000000000000

10/10 service, I went in for a simple job and they gave me an entire estimate with anything I may need in the future to go along with it. Fed, the manager was super friendly and helped me out with no hesitation. Would recommend to anyone!

Came in on the day after Thanksgiving, other shops nearby were closed although there website said they were open. I stopped by MPG Automotive and they went out of their way to get me back on the road. Clean shop, certified Techs and great customer service. Highly recommended and I'll be back! Thanks

Do not do business with this place. They are shady. Kept my truck for over a month. Also told me my repairs would be a certain price, and when I came in to pay, said it was like $1400-$2000 more. Stay far away. They told me my truck would be done by certain times, and would never meet those times. When it was done, they had me test drive it, and my brakes were still jacked up. Which was a problem they had identified, and said was fixed. Little to no communication the entire time during the repairs. I honestly don’t understand how this place is in business. Never in my entire life, have I ever ran into a repair shop like this. Way more stuff happened, but I don’t even want to go on about this place. They are the worst.

First visit I met the owner. He was very professional but very down to earth and empathetic. He gave me a lift home while car was being repaired and had someone pick me up when car was ready. The entire staff are humble, professional and know what they are doing. I would recommend you go say hi and trust that they will take care of you.

I have to say that I was initially very happy with MPG. In my last review, I gave them 5 stars. I felt that they were honest and trustworthy. That has changed in the last two interactions. Now, not once but twice, once at the one in Dyer by Edgar Park and the other further down Dyer, Today, sadly, I felt like I had entered into any number of shady and dishonest mechanic shops in EP. Today, I felt like every other horrible dishonest car repair place in El Paso, sadly. The manager that is typically there, is usually pretty honest and I feel comfortable working with him, today, a diffrent person was there, and he acted shocked that I always bring my vehicle there, they never know that I bring my vehicle here for almost EVERYTHING- the folks that I have never dealt with always act shocked and say that the systems don't talk to each other...regardless, went today because my battery died and I had to jump it, although the panel lights didn't work nor did the windows, after it started by a jump start...I asked if he could check it out because it's probably that the battery is bad,and that I'd have them replace the battery...which they have in-stock at AutoZone. I was willing to pay them to order, receive and replace the battery amd had planned to do the oil change as well, and, that way if changing the battery didn't fix the issue they would have it so they could fix what was wrong, Nope, right away he said it had an electrical short and that its 90 to diagnose it for an hour.., he made this assumption even after I told him that the battery had died and I jumped started it to get it there, although none of the items like lights, panel lights, windows or mirrors were working, without diagnosing it first, I asked if we could do process of elimination to see if either charging or replacing the battery fixes and we can go from there... NOPE right away he states it is an electrical short and mansplainedbto me how a car works with the starter and battery, so all it can be is electrical (lol) AND, he would have to take the car apart to diagnose it and it would be 1-2 or more hours...but he "will check the battery...if that's all I wanted" he comes back and states that the battery is good, so it's electrical. While I was waiting, I read up on the Manufacturers (European compact SUV) community page and they all said the same, battery dies, vehicle goes into a specific mode and changing the battery and the resetting the codes would fix. He didn't want to hear it because he wanted his $90 an hour to diagnose it by taking it apart...I decided to take my chances and drove it to AUTO ZONE, where, they put the machine on the battery, and guess what, the battery waa indeed bad... the battery was installed in 2018 and it was a THREE-YEAR battery!!! (Great battery btw! Got 5 years out of it!! Thanks again Autozone)Which it had right there on the side on the lable that shows the year it was installed/manufactured...So bought the new battery, Autozone installed it FOR FREE, everything works...Guess there is no electrical short after all...Saved myself probably a bogus 1,000 bill...so for what they could have charged as a mark up for the battery and install charge and oil change, they would have had a happy loyal customer- yet you lost a loyal customer after two shady interactions, over how much money? I guarantee my loyalty would have returned 10xs that amount. I try to support local, but local doesn't support local customers, so it's hard to be loyal to someone who just wants your hard earned money for bogus diagnostics... Buyer Beware...

Service is great, staff is really nice and you will prob fall asleep in the waiting area, it's so comfortable. I definitely recommend taking your vehicle there.

They always, and I mean ALWAYS, find the most expensive part on your car. And quote you a ridiculous price. I suggest to anyone who goes there and they do that. Take your car to another mechanic to get a 2nd opinion. Last year brake fluid had gotten dirty. They quoted me a 900$ and change master cylinder. I went to master brakes and the said master cylinder was fine. It just needed a flush. They charged me 160$.they will scam you if you're not on your toes
