Called on a Thursday to get a estimate of replacing ac compressor, Chandler was very helpful explaining different options, took it in the next day on Friday, had it done by the end of the day, great people and price, highly recommend

The two stars are for performing the job. The garbage review otherwise is because it was $700 for weather stripping for one door and when I got my car back, a quarter of a tank of gas was missing and the car reeked of cigarettes. Maybe the price is normal for that service, idk, but whatever they did with my car is bizarre. Fair warning to anyone bringing your car here.. if you care about that sort of thing.

I called at 12:30 on a Thursday to ask when they would have a chance to check out my car's A/C. They told me to bring it right in. After I arrived, they had it all checked out within an hour, and my compressor replaced another 2 hours later. Dealing with expensive repairs is never fun, but they made it smooth and as pleasant as it could be!

I will highly recommend them they worked on my Nissan and I was paying out of pocket. The Boss went out of his way to help get my car back on the road and give me a huge discount on letting me make payments. They were awesome had it fixed in 48 hours!

They are very friendly and good with communication, but also good at trying to rip you off. They wanted $750 for parts and labor for an ac condenser, and $150 to recharge it. Bought the part myself for $45 and had another company put it in and give it a recharge for less than $220. Maybe they have other stuff priced right because I've heard good things about this place, but I won't be coming back.

Great service and knowledgeable. Very friendly staff. The only negative is that it appears to be a 14.28 percentage added to each service for SHOP FEE. Otherwise I would have given a 5 star review.

Had an incredible experience all around. I was DIYing my car AC and ran into a wall. I called them up and their receptionist Michelle was very knowledgeable and redirected me to one of their service tech’s named Aaron. Aaron took the time to help me, FaceTiming to troubleshoot and figured out my issue. He also texted me again after we got off the phone to ensure I didn’t forget a critical step. The kindness in taking their time to help me when I backed myself into a corner was a God send. As this reflects with all else they do as I’ve read other reviews, this company is very professional, well and reasonable priced and out of their way kind. So thankful for their help! If you’re considering them, you’re making a smart move and won’t be disappointed.

My work van needed service for the air not working all the time. Mr. Cool ordered some parts after checking it out. I was getting impatient because I hate waiting, but they impressed me the finish product of my van actually fixed, air working better than before, sounds better. Worth the wait especially when van is fixed properly. Thanks guys and girls for your service.

This is the spot to take your vehicle if it's acting up or need new brakes or something. The fella that helped me was amazing and he made sure I was taken care of . I will always recommend this place!! Jeremiah is the best. Very knowledgeable and made my vehicle run better than ever.

One highly underrated feature of an auto shop is a clean bathroom. If I have to wait to get something fixed it’s nice to be able to use a fresh clean bathroom and those can be hard to find at auto shops. Of course their warranties and friendly demeanors at this location are great too!

They did a good job replacing the evap core on a nissan juke. There was some issues after that they tried their best to resolve which I appreciate.

when i first started going to mr.cools it was money saving n job got done in decent timing. then took vehicle in (cant remember y) but engine light was not on. as leaving engine light was on. worker that worked on it said the light was on when he got in it. mr. cool did diagnostic n learned his worked connected plug backwards halfway on. light goes off. he did all that while worker was standing there who then looked stupid! he told him gone get in there n get back to work. few wks later took it back cause water pump went out. they fixed it n driving home all the oil in my car dumped out cause the worker didnt connect something that mr. cool figured out. had to spend $30 to put oil in truck to take it back. no compensation offered. other car had fuel pump issue. paid them at least 3 different times to fix issue after they kept my car second time two wks third time two months and last time two n half months. so took it too dealer n what i was paying mr cool to fix was the issue that i kept paying them for over n over n over. had dealer remove all mr cool did n redo it. been a yr now n no issues what so ever!!! third time of them installing this so call "NEW" fuel pump it failed a wk laterleaving me stranded cause car wouldnt start! they couldnt never find anything wrong with it but dealer off hand found it was the pump n fuel sending unit. same things i paid mr cools over n over n over to repair n replace.

Be prepared for them to add a bunch of extra services that you don’t need when they give you a quote. This place is the definition of “greedy mechanics.” Save yourself lots of money and get a second opinion on what’s needed to fix your car.

Fixed my A/C last summer, offered a pick-up/drop-off while my car was being serviced, great work. Helped me in a pinch one evening when I damaged my fender in the neighboring lot so my car was road-safe. Wonderful family business and very pleasant team.

Had a slight problem that I knew would get worse over a period of time.I brought the car in and they did an analysis, discovered the problem, ordered new parts, they arrived in a few days, brought the car back in, I had to leave it because it was a big job, got it back in 2 days, runs perfect. Thanks Mr Cool.

I was given quotes for new and used transmission replacement options. For a new transmission, they quoted $8k. For used, $4500. I don't know, but these might be fair prices for the car model, if a transmission replacement is what the car would've needed. It wasn't. I went to AAMCO for a second opinion, and they quickly replaced the valve body/solenoid for $2200. Things of note: - I specifically asked a Mr. Cool employee if the valve body was the issue and was told it definitely was not. - Employees were smoking cigarettes in a closed garage at the service counter where I was told to go. I am a very health conscious person who tries to avoid such toxins. - Employees were friendly and outgoing. Be prepared to hear/speak about Jesus and other personal stuff, probably.

I was traveling through and ended up driving by Mr.Cool’s tax transmission and brake repair. Saw the sign and pulled in on a Friday afternoon. They offered a free evaluation. They recognized the problem quickly. Some shops would have just said it needed a new transmission. They had it fixed later that same day. I was able to pick my car back up and travel back to northern Virginia and it ran perfectly. They charged $130 per hour which isn’t cheep but, an honest, capable mechanic is hard to find.

My car was stalling and I was near a place that told me it was the alternator and they could repair the alternator for 460. The guy was at Gabby's and now I realize they didn't use any computers to assess, and he just ripped me off for a lot of money, as the next day( today), my car was still stalling. So I called and talked with Aaron and his amazing coworkers and James, his father who said to bring it in.. I took to Mr Cools and they used their expertise, professionalism and kindness with up to date computers to find out that i needed a camshaft and would have that replaced for a reasonable labor and parts. I was delighted and then trusted them with some other issues with my car today. We who use our cars for work and helping a sick family member, etc cant thank this top tiered group enough. The Cools, Aaron, his dad, all of his family along are super. God bless their work and all!!:)

Their service is transcendent. From the desk to the finished product these guys know how to run an auto mechanic shop. At least 30% cheaper than any of the corporate giants. And let me tell you my story about them replacing a whole transmission in two days without a single issue post service. I mean when I tell you Mr Cool is a God send you really just have to experience this for yourself to believe it. 20/10 would definitely recommend

They did a great job. Will return for future work. Edit: Two months after getting oil leaks fixed at Mr. Cool's I went to change my oil and it was completely dry. I took it back to Mr Cools and they said it was another leak and that I'd have to bring it back in. I find this odd, because after they looked at it the second time the leak stopped.
