Beware of This Business – Unprofessional and Disrespectful My wife and I are visiting Florida and decided to address some paint chips on our newer RV caused by pebbles hitting the front. After researching, we chose this company based on their positive Google reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. Initially, communication seemed promising. However, as we moved forward, there was a noticeable lack of responsiveness. Despite this, I trusted the reviews and hoped they would resolve my concerns professionally. On Monday, November 18, 2024, I spoke with someone who appeared to be the manager or owner and confirmed my arrival time for 4:30 PM. I even called two hours beforehand to ensure everything was set. When I arrived at the scheduled time, the manager/owner—who knew I was coming—was not there. In fact, no one in a position to provide an estimate was available. I had been texting directly with this individual just two hours before my arrival, and at no point did they mention they wouldn’t be at work or would be leaving early. We had clearly scheduled the meeting for 4:30 PM, and I arrived on time. After driving 30 miles out of my way, I left disappointed and sent a polite text expressing my frustration. What happened next was deeply unsettling. The manager called me back and, in a disrespectful tone, began yelling, using strong language, and speaking in a manner that felt aggressive and rude. While I can’t say for certain that his words were explicitly threatening, his tone and behavior left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. This experience does not reflect the positive reviews I initially relied on. The unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and disrespectful treatment I received were unacceptable. I strongly caution anyone considering this business to proceed with care. My experience was disappointing and frustrating, and I cannot recommend this company….. After seeing the response to my review—simply a pair of praying hands—I am left deeply disappointed. This reaction, devoid of any apology or acknowledgment, demonstrates a concerning lack of care and professionalism. It’s disheartening to see such minimal effort to address the concerns of a dissatisfied potential customer. What is a gesture like praying hands supposed to convey in this context? For a company striving to earn trust and business, this response is both unsettling and unhelpful.

Don’t bring your car to this horrible place. These reviews are from people that he asks to write reviews for him. They’re not real reviews from clients! They’re very unprofessional and took 2 months to fix my car. I had to hire a lawyer and Armando who is the owner has no care for customers. My lawyer personally reached out to him and right after he did, my car was fixed. Don’t take your car to this place, You will regret it big time later. Thank god I had a great lawyer! Liar! Armando stop lying!! You know very well my lawyer spoke to you and the next day you fixed my car!! I was close to sue you and your shop that shouldn’t be operating in the market! You got Lucky with me but I really hope you provide better service to the innocent people that might look for your shop! I feel bad for them as you and your team are extremely incompetent. Liar!! Armando is the worst guy ever! Don’t bring your car to his shop! Worst body shop in south Florida by far!

I came here for repair of my car after an accident. I chose them for their good reviews but I guess they are selective who to give their “great” service to. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend using this company. The paint warranty is under 3 years and after 2 years the paint began to appear as if the car was wet and and I called and went it and they insist I must have put something on the car to make it do that. They quickly wanted to wash their hands of this. God knows I didn’t do anything besides your common car wash. Even then, if I was to put something on the car as they claim, then why is it that only where they fixed is the paint starting to chip. After more time the hood paint is literally chipping away. While I’m under warranty they don’t want to help their own doing and I’m not the type to put up a fight and they take advantage of it. And what has just been brought up to my attention is that they have done a halfway job internally and now I’m paying the consequences in having to replace parts. Seems like they are just in the for the insurance money and I truly regret coming here and has been costly mistake in putting my trust in them.

I I called MTG BODY SHOP and spoke to Armando , and I told him I damaged my pick up truck door driver side, and could you give me a price on repairing it? He told me to send pictures, which I did. When I called him back, he said he hast to see the truck to give me a price. But he neglected to tell me that he only works on insurance company claims. Naturally, I’m paying for it out of pocket my repairs cause I damage my own truck, and he knew that. I drove out to his shop from miami beach, and I was told by his employee, that Armando was there, and the employee at that time informed me that they only do insurance work I sent a text message to Armando that he wasted my time and he could’ve told me that they only do insurance work upfront, But he never responded. I left and drove over around the block and pulled over and googled auto body shops near me, and a bunch of them came up and I picked the Luxury Custom Garage, And I spoke to the owner Nelson and he said come right over and I was only 10 minutes away. When I got there, nelson had stepped out, but Bonito was there to assist me. I showed him that my door wouldn’t close, and he proceeded to push down on the door and then he slammed it shut and the door closed. Never in my life have I been treated as nice as nelson and Bonito treated me, and they wouldn’t even take any money for fixing my door. I know I’m going to use them when I restore my 2002 pick up truck, Why, because they made me feel safe doing business with them. Luxury Custom Garage, In my opinion is the only place to take your car if you need anybody work done. I believed IN MIAMI BEACH since I was six years of age, And I’m going to say it’s a miracle that I met Nelson and Benito. What a great experience at their company.

I will ALWAYS suggest MTJ Paint and Body Shop to anyone who needs bodywork to their vehicular babies! My entire rear end needed replacing and they took care of EVERYTHING! The fellas there were incredibly knowledgeable and their work is pristine! They also kept in touch (and tolerated my check in calls with admirable good nature) and with all of the extensive work needed, I still got my my truck looking good as new in less than a week!

Ask for “Armando” he’s amazing. very patient, works at a fast pace, and he’s a problem solver. Anytime i come here and Armando helps me with my car, i always leave extremely satisfied. DO NOT GO HERE! They’re Unethical scammers. They held my car for 1 month, did not fix anything then when i left a negative review they tried to put a lien on my car for $10k for towing and storage! I had to delete my negative review & beg them to remove the lien then they charged me $800 for a fake “diagnostic” they couldn’t even prove was actually completed & they still didn’t fix my car! See attached screenshots from my txts with them if u think I’m making this up.

I did a lot a homework before I chose MTJ Paint & Body Shop. I’m completely satisfied with the work “Colombia” and the crew did. Dropped it off on a Monday morning and picked it up that Friday afternoon. The work speaks for its self. Please see the before and after photos. It’s as if I never had damage to begin with. My car was a total loss due to an accident, it was very unfortunate that I couldn’t fix my car but they helped me a lot with all of the insurance claims and protocols that my insurance was asking me for. They didn’t have to do it but I’m very grateful for their help. They truly do care about their customers.
