I really appreciated how quick and reliable Multnomah Automotive was even though they had to get a part for my car, they had it back to me same day and much sooner than projected. They also had great advice on what needed to be done now and what could wait. Friendly and trustworthy service!

Jason was an absolutely AMAZING help, went above and beyond to help my partner and I on such short notice when our car was unable to run. Everything was explained to me in such an easy to understand and simple way, from the issue to the cost of everything. I would absolutely recommend their services to friends and family, everything was done so quickly and efficiently as well as we were treated by an extremely friendly and respectful staff. They were an absolutely awesome team and if you're in need of car repair I would absolutely point you to this business!

The guys at this shop really rock. You can tell there's a good vibe at the business when you walk in and hear the 80's rock coming from the shop and the guys are just bopping along to the music and getting it done. Jason at the front counter is all smiles and keeps the flow going with his guys by leading the charge. From getting the parts ordered quickly and keeping the men informed of what's coming and where things are, Jason seems to lead his team well. I have had service with these guys a few times and they haven't let me down. Fast and friendly, with great communication skills, there isn't a local automotive repair shop I could recommend more than Multnomah Auto.

October 2024: 3rd time bringing my 2000 Honda CRV to this shop. They do great work and provide details and explanation for any work that should be done. Best part is the pictures they provide during inspection. Trustworthy, reliable, friendly, great communication, and knowledgeable. I'll continue to bring my older Honda back for regular maintenance. Thanks again, Jason and crew! July 2024: Had a great experience with Multnomah Automotive. Brought my older Honda CRV in for several repairs. Had been neglected for a few years so of course many other critical repairs were recommended. They were not pushy and gave me good advice on what to do. Decided to keep my old reliable Honda and get all necessary repairs to keep driving safely. I even brought it back in for additional repairs a few weeks after and they took good care to do the job right. Thanks to Jason and the crew!

Always happy with the job(s) done at Multnomah Auto. I've been taking our vehicles here for years and have had excellent, honest service every time. Jason and crew are thorough and professional in every regard. Great diagnostics and explanations including photos. I've has fairly complicated/involved work done here and everything is completed without a complication or undue delay. Fantastic neighborhood spot!

I live close by and stopped in randomly knowing I needed brakes and hoping to get them done without an appointment. Jason was able to get me in that afternoon and he even gave me a ride home. They did a thorough inspection and found some other things that should probably be fixed, but didn't push me to do anything more than what I went in for. Everyone was helpful and friendly and I'll definitely be going back there in the future.

I just moved to PDX and had to take my Tacoma in to get checked , I heard this place was amazing and they absolutely are! Jason helped me get set up and the text message updates are so efficient and easy , seeing what your vehicle needs with pictures to support the request ! Great service , fast turn around and very easy transaction all around ! Highly recommend !

The team at Multnomah Automotive are all so genuinely nice and helpful. They’ve serviced my Subaru Outback 3 separate times over the last few months, and each time they made me feel like I was a top priority and always stayed in communication with me throughout the day. They are honest and have never tried to up-sale, which is so refreshing. If the technician thinks something needs work or replacing, pictures and a detailed explanation are sent to you along with a price estimate so you know exactly how much it will cost. This is the only place I will ever bring my car to keep it running, they’ve fully earned my trust. I cannot recommend them enough!

Jason and the whole team did an amazing job on our 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan. They took in the vehicle on a Monday and had it back ready for us by Wednesday. The cost was manageable and the car drives brand new! Great work folks! Without a doubt, we will be back soon.

Friendly, fast, and convenient. Jason and his team at Multnomah Automotive provided great service. They fixed what was needed to get the car back on the road and provided a list of things to keep an eye. The work is under warranty giving me piece of mind should anything go wrong in the future. Very fast and reliable service. I was able to get my car diagnosed within a day and the entire process took 2 days max. Jason and the whole mechanic team were communicative about each step they took so I was never out of the loop. A very homey mechanic in the best way possible, would definitely recommend over any chain.

My car broke late at night and the shop was able to see me the next day. They were very helpful and diagnosed the problem quickly. They ordered me a part that they didn’t end up using, and didn’t charge me for it. They were very honest and kind. I would take my car here again.

This is my favorite shop to go to, every time I have had an unexpected issue come up they have been able to squeeze me in quickly and adress all my concerns. I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my car but these guys, they know how to take care of their customers!

The service we have received from this shop is unmatched. Scheduled with ease, flexible drop off and pick up arrangements due to being attached to a gas station. When the vehicle analysis and recommendations were complete, I was notified via text message link. I was able to view the most detailed vehicle inspection report I've ever seen with photos. Being mechanically naïve, it even prioritized the work for me. I was able to speak to staff and strategically select repairs that my vehicle needed ASAP vs. things I could budget for in the coming months. Thank you Multnomah Auto and Jason!

It's great to have a mechanic you can trust. Jason and his team are friendly and honest; they are realistic about repair priorities and do not push for less necessary services when faced with more serious problems. I've been taking my Subarus here for years with no regrets. Their electronic inspection reports are easy to understand and very clearly indicate which issues need to be prioritized. The reports are very useful for maintaining a log of your vehicle's status over the years. They are up-front about how long repairs may take, making it easier to plan accordingly. They've even given me rides home after dropping off my car! They also have an excellent warranty program. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to Multnomah Automotive!

This place is legit. To be 100% honest, I was skeptical of a gas station mechanic shop but I received nothing but great service, especially from Jason! They had a thorough Intake to make sure that you and them are both on the same page and keep in communication with you via text throughout every step of the way. They’re honest because they didn’t charge me for something they didn’t do/need to do, etc even though they could easily have. They have my trust. So yes I will be coming back for future services and if you’re reading this, you should too!

Typically not super fond of the whole mechanic thing, necessary as it is, due to the bedside manner (or lack of) of far too many shops, but I had my hands tied since my poor little beater needs all four tires to drive. The guy working the desk came out to see if he could fix it real quick, but it wasn't going to be the case. He was super chill and the process was ultimately painless, I didn't get his name, but I appreciate his customer service and of course the techs for getting my car in and out nice and quick.

5 stars seems inadequate for Multnomah Automotive. I first had my car towed in after Beaverton Honda didn't provide proper care in the first place, for years in a row. I was emotionally a wreck and Jason was so incredibly kind. I admittedly do not know much about cars. Jason never once mansplained things to me and didn't make me feel like an idiot for driving with no oil in my car. Jason told me what the process was and gave me a reasonable timeline. He checked in often via text and phone to give me updates. Within a week my car was repaired. I had made no appointments and was never a previous client - he had to get an entirely new engine. Which works great I must say! Since then, Jason has regularly conducted follow ups to see how my car is running or to remind me that I have an oil change coming up. The ability to communicate with the shop via text is a god send. When I took my car in for its oil change, Jason discovered a few things that needed their routine maintenance. He sent me an estimate of those services via text, which is great because I have records of everything online and saved, rather than just on a piece of paper. While the entire amount of maintenance was not something in my budget at the time, he prioritized and told me how we could knock out the rest so it was financially more feasible. I didn't feel lied to or cheated. I paid significantly more to have my oil changed at Multnomah Automotive, but it's worth every penny. They have gained my trust and made me feel like they care, which seems like a big ask these days. So glad that this shop is in my neighborhood. I love being able to walk home after dropping my car off. I truly cannot recommend Multnomah Automotive enough.

Multnomah Automotive provides excellent service. I was referred through AAA for a certified mechanic and they have more than exceeded all expectations in their professional workmanship. I would recommend them as my go-to auto mechanic in Portland.
