I’ve had 2 Mini’s now and I go out of my way to have them worked on at Munich. They do great work, use real parts, and charge fair labor. I have always been happy with the work they do, so take your Bimmer or Mini here if you need it looked at and repaired.

Munich Auto is a 5 star BMW service facility! My repair was done on time, the repair costs were discussed ahead of time and the estimate was accurate. They are a great alternative to the dealership, excellent quality, knowledgeable, and more competitive prices.

Don't look any farther for service on your BMW than Munich Auto. Their 5-star rating is well deserved, and backed up by professional skilled technicians and a transparent, straightforward owner. These are the guys where you send your mother and girlfriend for service on their cars. As long as I own a BMW, Ray and his right-hand man, Michael, will maintain my 328i's and my 428i!

First time here. BMW needed a new battery installed and reprogrammed. No gimmicks, no salesman tactics, great communication process, and top notch customer service. Owner was very nice, professional, and honest. Completed the work $500 LESS than the dealership on McNeil Rd. Will definitely return and highly recommended.

Simply the most sincere, honest professional I have ever dealt with for car service. Believe all the good reviews about Munich because Ray and his people are good, honest, sincere, extremely knowledgeable, and they don't treat you like the dealers do! (I dreaded going to the dealer and honestly had a most insulting experience with a pretentious, mean service rep), but I will not go back to the dealer as long as Ray and his team at Munich are here to help me, I'm glad to have discovered his shop and it's easy to talk to him and I want to thank him again. Nice job, good guy, great service, and awesome fair prices. Thank you for being there, Ray, and for taking the time to explain everything!

These guys are clearly experienced bmw professionals who care about the end result. They performed three moderate repair items on my car in very good time, and for a very fair price. Ray also made sure to keep me in the loop as the work had progressed. Im glad I found this place. **update** It's seven months later now, and the repairs are solid. My E46 needed an additional maintenance item today, and Ray got it done, once again going above and beyond. Highly recommend this shop.

Best car shop we have ever encountered in Austin area, better than the dealership. Very impressed by Ray’s proactive communication and precise execution delivering what he has promised. They are also very professional in debugging issues and provide most economical solution. Their price seems to be reasonable, we are just happy with their Services and quality of work. Came here because of the google reviews for a 2015 Mini Cooper Repair. Ray delivered exactly as promised. On top of the repairs he performed the car needed a ECU update that only the official Mini Dealer could do and he advised me because it was a recall I should not pay when going there. So Ray saved me $200 just on good advise. He makes me a want to buy another German car just so he can be my go to mechanic...

Have had nothing but a great experience in my 4+ years using Munich. Always fast on their repairs, and no surprises. They always call before doing anything to get approval for anything that I might not have been expecting. They'll give you an honest answer on things that need to be repaired, but are fine to wait on... They just want you to know what needs to be done overall and can help you prioritize.

I took my BMW X5 in for service re: parking sensor. I took the vehicle there at 10am and was done by 2Pm. They quoted me a firm price. Even though it took longer than expected, they honored the price. I have other BMW’s and will take them there for service without question. Bmw service wanted 450.00 these guys charged me a quarter of the price. Friendly, fast and most of all honest. Thanks again.

Ray and team are top notch! I am so glad to have found them for my Mini repairs and maintenance. They are transparent and honest with their recommendations. After getting done body work done at a different shop (since Munich doesn’t do body work), I desperately needed an oil change but wanted Munich to do it instead of the other place. I was leaving a message on a Friday when they’re closed and Ray called me back immediately and was in the shop doing a few things and offered to top me off real quick before my appointment on Monday to get me through the weekend. Just great customer service all around and I won’t be going anywhere else as long as I have a Mini and live in Austin. Cannot recommend enough!

Ray is the patron saint of BMWs. I was driving long-distance into town to visit family, a couple hours from my destination, a disturbing rattling let me know that the splash shield on the M3 was dragging on the ground. I called the dealership to make an appointment and was treated with an unwarranted disrespect. I thought there was an unspoken agreement that going to the dealership for repair means overpaying in exchange for sycophantic politeness and free coffee. Not so. I borrowed some gas station scissors to temporarily handle the issue. Unfamiliar location. Parts need replacing. Cannot trust dealer. Cannot use my regular mechanic two states away because the situation is a bit urgent. Now what? I noticed the rave reviews for Munich Auto and decided to give them a shot. Zero regrets. From the initial phone call, the service was next level. Ray is honest, reliable, upfront and accommodating. The cost was significantly cheaper than what the dealer had charged for this issue in the past and Ray is using the same quality original factory parts. Officially never taking this car anywhere else in Austin. If you have a BMW, please do not waste your time elsewhere. Munich Auto is the best service you'll find. Thank you so much to Ray and his team for not just a flawless and seamless mechanical repair but for true quality all-around service and customer care.

I was worried about the cost of maintaining my X-5 after warranty but Munich has erased that fear. I've been taking my vehicle there for about five years. They know BMW's so they quickly diagnose and repair problems. They know what is important and don't try to sell anything else. My vehilce is always ready when they say.
