Jim and Brian helped me get my truck in order very fast. Can’t recommend going to this shop enough, I was in Tampa from out of town and they helped me get back on the road immediately. Fantastic work and very honest. Highly recommend!!

This was my first time using an independent repair shop instead of a commercial dealership and BOY WAS I LUCKY Jim Murphy was referred to me! I cannot recommend this place more if I tried as he is truly a man of honesty and integrity and knowledge of all vehicles. He diagnosed my issue while I was still in my car! I’m 70 years old and my time at Murphy’s was the easiest I’ve ever experienced all the times I’ve taken any vehicle to be serviced. Thank you Jim!!!

The owner is a wonderful guy who will work on your car and work with you to get it fixed. Give him a bit since he's backed up, but he does good work.

Brought my van in to get the door locked fixed. My door couldnt lock and they couldnt fix it because i needed to order a specific part but they charged me $50 for a temp bandaid solution(they wanted $100 but i told him no way since the issue wasnt fixed). My door couldnt lock before hand but now my door cant open at all from the inside unless i get that part i need. I just felt like $50 was too much since my issue wasnt even fixed completly but i understand they have to pay their workers for time/labor They were nice people though Dont let this review discourage you from coming here, this was just my one time experience

Honest as they come.When you find a good honest mechanic you make sure to hold onto them. I have been using Jim for 25+ years. He is Honest and reasonable. I have recommended friends and own children who are now long time customers. I strongly recommend

On our way back to Kentucky from Clearwater Fl our vehicle had an issue. Called around lots of places and came across Murphy's Auto Repair. We couldn't have fallen into better poeple and great mechanic. Great price, great and fast service, awesome people.

Our experience with the people who own this place and the service they provided is hard to come by!! We were stranded 100 miles away from Tampa at 7pm on a Friday night, coming from middle Georgia. They waited up for us until midnight because AAA could not get the vehicle down there that night, and didn't bother informing anyone (including me). When we did finally make it down there by way of tow truck, they were so accommodating that it felt like it was just a stop by grandma's house. It was a big job, but they had us back on the road within a few hours, on a Saturday, and at a very competitive price. He even went to pick up the parts that were needed, so the job could get done. In the meantime 'grandma' gave my son and I drinks and snacks, and then she even dropped us off at Busch Gardens. These people are so kind and honest, generous and hard-working, I would highly recommend them!!

Murphy's Auto Repair is probably the only honest and respectful mechanic shop I have ever been to! He goes over all repairs that need to be done and tries to help u save money as car repairs can be very expensive! He is very honest and hard working and always takes care of your car and makes you feel like u are the only priority! He will go over the entire car with u and let u know what needs to be done and what needs to be done right away so u don't cause more ware and tear on your car. I will recommend him to anybody and will continue to go to him for any car repairs. Awesome mechanic and friend!!!!!
