The front desk is very nice and patient when you’re not too sure what is wrong with the car. The mechanic was knowledgeable and will give advice if you’re curious about any car. Thank you so much for a smooth service!

They are the worst. Don’t ever go here. They will leave ur truck parked up front with the keys in it unlocked over night. No one got a hold of me and I received a text from my sales rep that my truck was left for me to pick it up at 8pm? I left it with the shop, not the dealership. This is the most unprofessional mechanic I have ever delt with. If I give u my keys I expect for u to hand my keys back to me with a written sheet of what u looked at and done. Do not go here! I repeat this place does horrible work at best. Their bumper fix was two screws in it to keep it up…. Hope those screws don’t rust. First impression was ruined when I walked into thier trashy trailer office to hear a customer being berated over the phone. Needed a simple window repair. Charged $900 for a fix that lasted 4 months. Took it to a real mechanic who found it was repaired with electrical tape and zip ties. Was having transmission issues and they charged me $500 for “cleaning” and repairs of the system. Didn’t fix the problem. When I called back they said something like: “we don’t want to put hundreds-of-dollars of parts in there for it to not do anything.” After they had already done that twice. Garbage people, garbage service, garbage professionalism. Steer clear of these scammers Edit: So I did a little research… Absolutely every five-star review here is from long-time Facebook friends, family or paid review-boosters (yes, that’s a thing.) These people are scammers in many ways. Avoid at all costs.

I was waiting months for my car to be fixed at another place so a friend refered me to Myfriendssamechanic and they got it done in a week. My car is in tip top shape now. They handled all of the insurance stuff. I literally didn't have to do anything unlike the other place. So now I'll only take my car to them because they're hard-working, trustworthy and efficient. Also they did a beautiful job cleaning out all the glass from my break-in so it's safe for my little one.

I’ve dealt with My Friends a Mechanic for years now and recently went in for a new steering shaft. They quickly diagnosed and fixed up my truck. I will only bring my vehicles here for any type of service. Reasonable, respectful, and quality work. You will not find a better shop in Western NY.

Ive been searching for a great personal mechanic for years and My Friends A Mechanic id recomend to any of my friends or family. They custom bent an intermediate pipe for my 77 grand prix and installed it cheap and fast was done in a couple of hours. Very friendly and cool people! If you havnt been check them out!

24 days later and my car is still not fixed or touched. Every time I call and check in it’s another day or after the weekend or Monday or Tuesday. If you keep a schedule and are a car enthusiast don’t come here.

Been dealing with them unwillingly for a year now I bought a car from the dealer that they do business with and everything they replaced on the car before I bought it was never really fixed for instance the rack &pinion was replaced on April and I bought the car in may ... I was taking the car back ALLL summer for noises coming from the wheel and they swore every time they couldn’t find anything ... they would have my car all day to find nothing ... today may 13th the rack needs to be placed ... I call them and they tell me to bring the car in to rediagnose they keep the car 5 hours to tell me that the records show the dates are over a year and they have nothing to do with it ... I’m calm and collective while the trailer secretary lady is yelling over the phone :( just bad to do business with

I bought a car from Excell Auto Sales on 5/1/2021. Andy was very helpful and did a great job getting me the car. The car was supposed to be detailed but wasn’t and I found dents in it that were not there before. Andy had the dents fixed for me which was great. On 5/25 the hood latch cable snapped. I had to get my hood closed but drove with caution since I knew it was not secure. I reached out to Andy and was directed to My Friends a Mechanic. I called several times over several weeks leaving voicemails (approximately 10) and did not hear back. It was only when I informed them I would show up and not leave until my car was fixed that I received a call back. I scheduled an appointment with the mechanic for 6/9 at 11am. I was told they could not fix my car until they ordered the part. I was told I would receive a call the following day when the part came in to schedule an appointment. Instead I had to call on 6/15 because I hadn’t heard anything. I was able to schedule an appointment for 6/21 at 12pm to get my vehicle fixed. In this time I moved from Rochester to Buffalo so I confirmed Monday the 21st at 12pm since I live almost 2 hours from this shop. When I arrived I was met with an attitude when the woman I spoke too claimed I did not have an appointment and she couldn’t get me in. She threw her planner at me showing me I have no appointment. I told her I do not live in the area and I needed this fixed since I work 30-40 hours a week and have little time to drive to Rochester. I asked her if I could take the part and go somewhere else since Lemon Law requires them to pay for the part. I was told they will not pay for it unless I have it fixed there. I left with a broken and dangerous vehicle. I am angry that I was disrespected like that. You have been warned, do not have anything to do with this company. Looking at reviews now I see they have poor management so do not go to this company unless you would like to be treated like dirt.
