I’ll start by saying I had 2 very positive experiences here, both with Chase, whom is no longer employed there. He did a lot of work on my 06 Acura TL, and I was extremely happy both with his work and his ethics. He called me and kept me updated every step of the way, and did a few little extras at no charge. Chase was great! But, Chase no longer works here. Fast forward to me needing wheel bearings replaced on my 02 Acura MDX: I was told on Thursday morning by David they had all the parts in shop and would be done that afternoon. He explained that this model has pressed in bearings and that the procedure would cost more. He assured me they had everything they needed and would start right away. I ubered to work and then never heard from them. I called the next morning and David acted surprised that I was calling, he again explained about needing to use a press to install the parts, this time saying it was why it was taking so long. When I asked why they were unable to fix it last night, like was there more damage or something, he acted annoyed and said it simply isn’t done and they would call when it was. That was Friday morning. He called me later to say that the previous owners of my car had someone install the bearings without a press, and that they had caused damage to the hub, making it more difficult for them to repair. This added a lot to the expense ($1507 altogether). I said do what you need to do, just make sure it’s all fixed. On MONDAY evening, right before their closing time, Bill called me to say all work was completed, but that I would be hearing noise due to damage to “the suspension”. He was unable to explain that any further, and it sounded to me like he was taking another mechanics word for it. He did tell me when I asked how much THAT would be to repair that he could do it for $1200-1500, and said he would give me 20% off if I had them do the work. I thanked him and picked up my car after work. As soon as I turned out of their parking lot, I heard the noises, loud rubbing sounds when I turned the wheel either direction. Also, my alignment (one of the services David told me they had to do) was WAY off. Because it was around 10 pm, I called them the next morning when I got to work and had driven on the highway to be sure there was actually a problem since I had only driven it about 3/4 mile home the night before. I spoke with Hiram and asked him to inform Bill that I had a problem. At that time, I thought it was just the alignment because I took Bills word for it that the noise was from damage not caused by them or their repair. I got a txt saying it was from David, asking how the car was working. I thought back to our last conversation when David was listing the extra work that needed done, when he said “I’ll take the alignment off” in the context of giving me some kind of discount to be helpful since he had basically doubled his initial estimate. I realized he was probably actually saying that they just weren’t going to do the alignment, not that he was discounting the price. I texted back that I needed an alignment and would get an oil change at the same time. I got no response (that’s when I realized it was an automated txt). A couple days later, my driver side front wheel bearing started to make the same grinding noise it did when I first called them. WAY too soon to be having any problems. I decided that since they made no effort to respond to me even though I just spent $1500 and immediately reported a serious issue to them, that I would go somewhere else and get another opinion. I spent $250 for another mechanic to simply repress the wheel bearing and tighten several parts that were left loose. Get this: when I left, no noises, and no alignment issues. They said they weren’t sure what damage Bill would have been referring to, there is no damage to my suspension any more than would be expected from normal wear. So Bill in all seriousness offered me a 20% off coupon for a $1200-1500 repair that I DO NOT NEED. I will definitely not be back, as I feel I was ripped off.

Went for an alignment after tire purchase. And the new owners decided not to validate the Alignment.. So I got screwed out of an alignment. The new owner is one guy. It's snuffy Smith with no teeth was so rude. Do not go here. They will rip you off and not care...

EDIT: The new garage that my MIL went to also just provided documentation that the Nationwide Car Care Center did not even do the alignment that she paid for and they claimed that they had done. Per the new garage, the alignment on my car would have caused my tires to run down. This is only 2 weeks later. We will be filing a complaint with the BBB. Posting on behalf of my mother-in-law: Quick summary of the below: Parts were replaced on my car that did not need to be (costing $1,400), the shop did not right this wrong or provide any customer service, and I was allowed to dangerously drive my car off the lot without the bolts being tightened PER the shop manager. Do NOT come here! I came to Nationwide Car Care Center in May 2024 because my car was making a “knocking” noise as I was driving. I have a 2020 Equinox with only 19,000 miles on it. After an inspection, I was told that I would need to have my tie rods and ball bearing replaced. I also needed an alignment and an oil change. I left my car overnight and was called the following day around 4:30PM. I was told that the shop did not have time to do an alignment and that, instead, I could pick up the car and come back first thing the next morning to have the alignment done. After paying $1,400 and leaving the lot, I immediately knew that something was very wrong with my car. The “knocking noise” had gotten much louder, the brakes did not feel right, and it felt like parts of the car were going to fall off. I made it four blocks down Lorain Road before turning around to go right back to the shop. I was told by Dave that everyone had left for the day and that there was nothing I could do. I asked if the repairman had test driven the car before handing it over to which Dave said - No. The test drive would not have happened yet since the alignment was not done. My car was not in driveable condition so I had to leave it overnight and be picked up. The next day, I expected to hear back early in the morning. I was told that the only thing additional that needed to be done to the car was the alignment which was set to take one hour. After I did not hear anything, I was called by Dave around 1:30PM. He notified me that my car was not done yet and when I explained what had happened yesterday, he said that some of “the bolts were not tightened all the way.” Why was my car allowed to leave the lot in this dangerous condition? Why was it not test driven before being allowed to be taken off the lot? It is clear that I received my car in very dangerous condition. Dave was very rude about the situation, not understanding, and did not even apologize after admitting that the bolts were not completely tightened on the car. Finally, around 5:00PM, I received another call that my car was ready. Again, after leaving the lot, the car was making the same knocking noise. I returned to the shop and was told that “nothing could be done” since Dave had left for the day. Dave had not left any notes in the file and the front desk person could not even confirm if a test drive was done. How does this establishment not leave notes or check if test drives are done or not before handing over to the customer? Finally, Dave admitted that his shop could not figure out what was wrong and he could do nothing for me. I took my car to another garage where I was told that the real issue was the front wheel stabilizer. The total for parts and labor only being $400 total. The garage also noted that the tie rods and ball bearings most likely should NOT have been replaced - especially given that my car is still new and only has 19,000 miles on it! I definitely feel that I was scammed at Nationwide Car Care Center and the customer service was abysmal. They clearly do not care about their customers OR their safety (given that I was allowed to drive my car off the lot without the bolts tightened). I would give them 0 stars if I could.

I took my car in for an oil change and to replace the breaks. The Nationwide team did a great job. I was provided exceptional customer service by the manager David as well. I had a party the afternoon of the service and the repair took a little more time than anticipated and ran into the start of the party. David took it upon himself to drive my car keys to the party that afternoon to make sure that I had my keys for the evening. 10/10. I highly recommend.

I visited this business a few weeks ago with some strange car sounds. I did not need an appointment to get seen, and they took my car back pretty quick. Once the car was lifted, they found quite a few problems with my car. And I know, you probably rolled your eyes. Of course they found problems, mechanics always do. Except this place, proved it! They took me back into the garage and literally showed me what was wrong with my car. Hiram explained the entire problem and why it was a problem. He broke the complex functioning of a car down so that I could understand with little to no car knowledge. The mechanics at this establishment fixed my car same day, and when they found another problem, fixed it the next day. The staff was incredibly kind, and they did not judge me (at least out loud) about how bad the state of my car was. This mechanic trip has changed all car maintenance for me. Whenever I need work done, from an oil change to a new axil, I’m going to go to Nationwide Car Care Center.

I have a newer car that hasn’t required repair service but I just stopped in for a tire rotation and they took care of it immediately. For only $ 12. And a couple years ago I had a tire that was low and they found a screw in it. They removed the screw and plugged the tire. Again no waiting and a very reasonable price. When my warranty expires I will use them for more service

Went in to set an appointment for an annoying rattle on my Jeep Trail Hawk and the gentleman shook my hand and said he can have them look at it now. 15 min later, problem was diagnosed and another 15 min problem was fixed at a more than reasonable price. Update to my initial review below: 12/12/23 I cannot recommend this place for repairs or service of any kind. My son had his car towed there due to the fact that he had a broken brake line and was unable to drive the car. When he called they told him they could fix the issue, and as it was a Saturday, and he needed his car for work and school, he decided to give this place a chance, in spite of some of the negative reviews. After the repair, he noticed that his brakes didn't feel right. They felt spongy and he had to really push down to get the car to stop. He didn't trust Nationwide and his girlfriend's dad works out of town at an auto shop and they decided to take the car there over Thanksgiving week break. Turns out that when Nationwide replaced the break line they never bled the line of air. He of course was charged and had to pay to have the other shop bleed the line. I spoke to Dave the Manager at least 3 times trying to give the shop the opportunity to make things right regarding the brake issue described in my initial review below. Each time I got the brush off stating that he could not reimburse my son the 69.00 that he paid to have the job done properly elsewhere because it had to go through Corporate. He told me that he had children to feed and wasn't going to get fired as a result of authorizing any refunds. I shared that in all my years of management, and as a consumer, I have never heard of the manager of a business not having the authority to make things right with a customer. I advised that if I didn't hear back by the end of the week that I would have to move on to the Better Business Bureau. He then stated he didn't appreciate my threatening him. I explained that it was not intended to be a threat. I was giving them an opportunity to make the customer whole, and if they were unwilling to do it, I would have to move on to the next step in the process to try to gain some satisfaction. He then took my number again, and stated, "what is your name and number again? I don't think I even have it.. " I think that says it all.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS! I drove my vehicle here for a pre-winter checkup, and it left on a tow truck with a ruined cylinder head due to stripped spark plug threads. Complete incompetence! They refused to take responsibility for their ineptness, and even charged me the full amount for the checkup. I was told by the manager that I would most likely need a new engine, but they would be able to replace it at my cost. My engine didn't even have 100k yet! I can't even believe these hacks can sleep at night. All of this right before the holidays! Filed a claim with my insurance, and my vehicle was deemed A TOTAL LOSS!!!! These people seem to think they are not culpable for their incompetence, all the while gathering reviews from elderly folks who get their tires filled for free. Maybe they should just stick to filling air in tires, because they can't even change a spark plug without ruining a perfectly good vehicle.

During the latest ice age my thermostat was bad and I had no heat. Too cold to change outdoors I thought I could stop at any auto repair place and they could take care of it. Not a major fix. After going to about 20 different shops over a 3 day period from Middleburg Hts to Hinkley to Parma to Strongsville and on. I was told I would have to leave it. Schedule after the first of the year. I remember driving by Nationwide and thought, I may as well try them. I drove out and they were open. Walked in, they had about 3 people waiting. I explained my situation to Thomas and to my surprise and joy, he took my info and had my car in. No longer than 45 minutes later my car was done. He did mention other issues they found on the car and gave some quotes. He did not try and rip me off or upsell other things. He knows his stuff and I felt very comfortable speaking with him. I will recommend them to people I know!

Two nice gentlemen just came to my house, removed my flat tire and took it back to the shop for inspection. They put air in the tire and returned to put it back on my car. I took my 1966 El Camino to Jake and the folks at Nationwide with a passenger door window that fell into the door. They were unable to find parts and decided to weld existing track back in place which worked beautifully! Hard to find someone to even take on a project like this and very pleased with Jake's professional approach and final solution. I will return with my vehicles, good job!

I will never use this establishment again and advise anyone else to stay away. They replaced my brakes, all around, with old ones (or never even replaced). I went back twice, they denied hearing anything that I still heard. Then, they shut down. I reached out to the other location and was promised by Jake that he would make it right. I went back up when they reopened and met Jake. He wanted to make it right by offering me a discount on future repairs. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SERVICE!

Needed new brakes and rotors. It came back worse then when I brought it in. Never got a call on what's taking so long. I would have to call them. After 2 weeks still not done. Not competent to do the job they are hired to do. It takes me 2 days to do the job that's taking them 2 plus weeks and I don't have all the tools and equipment that they have. The BBB will be getting a call from me.

DO NOT USE THIS REPAIR FACILITY Sister in law brought her car in for repairs, when she arrived to pick it up to her surprise the front end of the car is destroyed, fender dented, bumper ripped off and torn. They claim that they didn't do the damage but would be more than happy to repair it if SHE pays them... Really? Do not take your car here!!!
