Rudy and the team at Neuspeed provide nothing short of perfection when it comes to their efficiency, time management, professionalism and customer service. I was referred by a friend who strongly recommended him for some body work. I gave him a call he said "stop by today if you like!" When I went to other body shops - they tried to book me out weeks in advance. Rudy was able to see me in one day and give me a fair quote and easy payment terms with a deposit. Not only was the work perfect and done exactly in less than a week in the time he commited to be done by, but I also had some issues come up while I was traveling and I needed him to give my keys to a friend. Rudy actually communicated with my friend to arrange picking up my keys, even stayed after hours to help us out. I was able to fly home on the weekend nad get my keys and car without any problems and the work was perfect. And my car was cleaned from the inside out! I'll always recommend these guys and I see why they've been a staple in Austin for so many years - they are a real class act and hope they are around for many more years! Highly recommend them!

After an accident, my insurance wanted to declare my car a total loss given the amount of damage. Rudy was able to completely restore my car to back to original condition including replacing the airbags. The repairs were fast and cost way less than replacing my car. It looks and drives great! Rudy was very responsive to any concerns or questions and when I had an issue post-repair, he was quick to resolve it. Highly recommend!

I really appreciate Rudy and the team at this place. I needed a small job done as soon as possible. It happened to be a Saturday when most car body shops are closed, but this business was open. I made a phone call to ask if/when a small job could be done on my vehicle. Rudy offered to have the job done the same day right away (probably since it was a quick task that wouldn't take an expert longer than 15 minutes). I went straight over to Newspeed Automotive. It doesn't look like some shiny corporate space, but don't judge by that appearance. I found this Newspeed Automotive team more efficient than some other auto body shops I have been to. If you speak only English (like me), find either Rudy or the bilingual worker, who was very helpful to me. He gave instructions to one of the Spanish-speaking workers who got my small installation task done in a short time. This team gets the job done efficiently. These are a bunch of hard workers. I was so grateful to the point that I had to post this review.

I truly cannot say enough good about Rudy and the team at Newspeed Auto. My car needed a major repair and every place I called had 3 weeks waiting lists and wanted to charge me over $10,000 to fix it. I found Newspeed online, read all the great reviews, and called to inquire about their services. I explained my situation to Rudy, and he said I could bring my car in that day for a diagnostic and his team would get right to work on it. He even negotiated a price with me and was very accommodating of my financial standing. My car required several repairs and the job ended up taking longer than anticipated, but I never felt like I was being jerked around or taken advantage of. Rudy kept me informed of the entire process: which parts they had replaced, which ones they were waiting to come in, and which parts were out of stock everywhere and they were still tracking down. When the repair was completed, he even gave me a small discount on top of the already very fair price to account for the time it took to repair. As a young woman who does not know really anything about cars, Rudy's transparency through the whole process is really refreshing. He clearly explains everything that has to be done, as well as other issues he discovers in the process, but he is not pushy about tacking on additional costs and repairs. Simply provides the information and a cost estimate and lets you make the decision without haggling. (Which you definitely won't get at a dealership where they try to squeeze every last penny out of you!) My car runs amazing and the body work looks great. It is very clear in the way Rudy treats his clientele and the quality of the work that he does how much he cares personally for his customers. I will never go to another mechanic, and neither should you!

My hood wasn't closing and needed some realignment (after a collision). Other places were either scheduling 2 months out or said they don't know how long it'll take or how much it'll be. This place said $160 and it'll be done in an hour. At first I thought it was too expensive but they explained what needs to happen and it matched what I had heard elsewhere, so I took the gamble. They did a really good job, I feel really good about the experience. I'll get more work done there

Rudy is by far the most unprofessional and rude mechanic I’ve ever dealt with. We agreed to a price for the repair and I left the car at the shop. Shortly after I left, Rudy called me and told me that he needs me to purchase the part and requested that I send him money on venmo immediately so that he can buy it for me. We agreed that since I was paying for the part that I would be paying exact cost and he would provide the receipt for the part. When my car was ready to be picked up I asked Rudy for the receipt and he refused to provide it. When I asked why, he stated that the part cost whatever he said it cost. I told him I needed my car then because I’ve paid above what we agreed for the repair and he refused to give me keys until I paid him more money. Because I could not go without my car I ended up paying Rudy whatever price he came up with for the repair of my vehicle. I plan to recoup that money in small claims and advise anyone to be prepared for the way Rudy does business.

They did a great job. Rudy was super accommodating and got my paint job done in a day. Other body shops wanted to take apart the whole bumper but they were able to repaint and spray without having to take the bumper off and charge a ton. It looks good as new. Thank y’all

Called around the area, and every shop was booked out for days, or didn't work on bmw. Rudy got me in immediately, and took care of the issue by the end of the day. Pricing was fair also.

I first of all what toTHANK Rudy and all the crew. The care that they took to fix my car was very good!!! I couldn’t get the car back for 2 days so Rudy personally brought the car to my Appt. At 10:30pm. After working 12 hours that day. He still served he client far above bar of service. Well done my new mechanic!!!!

I was visiting Austin when my catalytic converters were stolen off of my Tundra. I had a 4 hour drive to get back home and a commitment I needed to get to. I took my truck to Rudy. Not only did he take my truck that day, he was very friendly and helpful, and he got my truck fixed and got me back on the road in four hours! I couldn't believe it! I honestly hope I never need Rudy's services again, but, if I ever did, I wouldn't hesitate to take my vehicle back to him.

I went to countless other shops looking for someone to help me patch some badly degraded rust holes in my 2006 Ford E350 adventure van. Everyone just wanted to replace the entire side of the van for a cost of over $10,000. Rudy at Newspeed Automotive told me it would be no problem for them to cut out the rusted areas and weld in metal to replace it, then finish and paint it to look new. That's exactly what happened. Not only does the van look as good as new, but it was all at a fraction of the cost quoted by other shops. Rudy is very easy to work with and his crew is really good at what they do. I was so happy I came back for another small project to fix body issues inside the doors. Once again, service was quick, and it looks really good. I highly recommend Newspeed Automotive for any of your body repairs and painting needs.

Newspeed Automotive on Shirley Ave off Lamar is on point. Pulled my Dodge Challenger that I was having issues with and was fixed that day immediately. I couldn't be more happy with the service. My car is fixed and running smoothly. Rudy the owner is very professional and reasonable. He has excellent guys for his crew and act fast and efficient to get whatever job done .Highly recommend this place.

The local big store couldn’t tell me if it was a battery or some obscure electrical problem. My friends suggested Rudy at Newspeed and it took them, literally, 10 minutes to diagnose the problem.
