Wow is all is have to say!! Took car to get water pump changed, done! 2 days later left my wife on side of road!! Took it back had to replace thermostat which I think you would catch if you did a pressure test or any test/ inspection of system for that fact! Why away for the holiday car at 3 day's wife takes it to work overheats again so now I have to look at it in the morning!! Don't trust this place, paid I believe $700 and problem not solved!

Nathan helped get the alignment corrected on my WRX, and also spotted some issues with the drivetrain and advised me on how to move forward with it. Super appreciative of him and the shop!

As you can read from all the other reviews on here, their knowledge, experience, friendliness, and quick turnaround capabilities have these customers leaving happy, and my experience was no different. I could never expect the same from a dealership, much less even just a solid handshake from the advisor, the technician, and the owner, like I did at Next Level. They're good people. I am glad to have discovered this place, and I look forward to more business in the future.

I took my caravan to another shop due to a constant rattle I was hearing and that other shop quoted me $3200 for a new transmission. In an effort to save money I decided I should get a second opinion with next level mechanics and I'm sure glad I did, turns out I had a cracked flex plate and they took care of quickly with no issues at all, they saved me a ton of money and I will continue to take my vehicles here now! Thanks guys!

Man I don't know what to say other than I have not had the same experience these other reviewers had.. I tried to take several different vehicles here and it's literally 40/60... and not on the winning side for the customer.. They are very nice people for the most part, Nelson the owner, choose to try and butt heads with me for some reason but other than that everyone is respectful and friendly. 2005 Cadillac was my first, it sat there for several months and Noone was able to locate the parts, but on my end I had already involved a $2000 cash deposit. Months later I recommended that we just use the credit on another vehicle I have a 2002 BMW x5, and Nelson seemed pretty content with that decision, it just needed some parts to get the alignment corrected, they applied absolutely as much of that deposit as they could $1950 or so... The repairs were... expensive for what it was to say the least, I go to pick up my bmw suv and not .1 miles after leaving their shop the transmission went into failsafe ... possibly doing damge as come to find out someone didn't top the fluids back off as they had removed one of the axles according to them..... I proceeded to go into panic mode with my kids there and really held my composure the best I could, after speaking with a tech they promptly got Nelson and he told me that I a customer.. was "pissing him off" I'm assuming because I asked them if they drove in my vehicle or if someone damaged it, I had no idea, I don't work on cars and I gave them my hard earned money that I feed my kids with to get this at the time reliable vehicle in better condition. Nelson also promptly mentioned that the bulb sockets were out of my price range..? Pretty irrelevant given the front desk girl, had on the paper they printed out... that bulbs the alignment, the oil sensor and a coolant sensor thing was all included as I was using this historic deposit... I don't even have a need for this vehicle but was trying to let them come back from the Cadillac.... picking the bmw up the second time! someone has hit the wall damaging my mirror and the Fender above my rear passenger wheel.... and now my abs light, traction control and brake light is now on and my rear wheels are no longer in alignment only a few hundred miles after this series of fukery. No I will not be bringing my vehicle back for it to be presented in worse condition than before for not the first time... I really don't see why I'm the only one it appears to have had a shifty experience here at this shop. Nelson, accused me of not having a civil conversation. Well point blank period my vehicles aren't coming back in better shape than when I dropped it off. I have every right to be a little upset at the least, concerning my transmission in a bmw that has never had an issue of the sort! I don't work on cars but I can say this vehicle is in worse shape now than it was prior to you touching it, after a $2000 exchange of cash from months... prior. Don't know what I could have possibly done, perhaps you guys saw a profit loss that wasnt my fault then choose to rip me off once you noticed you made a mistake that might cost you some money and ontop of it all! You damaged the vehicle not only mechanically but cosmetically also! No I would not give you the chance to sabotage my vehicle again even though you offered to fix it saying your tech "may have rubbed the wall" My children ride in this vehicle... unreal how this has turned out. unsafe too.... Nelson, given the way you spoke to me when yall didn't fill the fluid up, saying your not responsible for any damages to my transmission... red flags red flags I'm a bit more adult now than my younger day, trying to argue with your customers and get a rise doesnt look good on you, this is my way of speaking the truth now its way more powerful. Customers and buyers beware. They also overcharged me for ac repairs that weren't even needed on a f350 then I find unclosed ac caps and loose stuff, even after $1400.... There's more too but it's limited to how much I can type here.

So I gotta say, The team at next level hooked me up, not only did they beat all quotes I was given, but they were able to get me in for a major repair within a couple days and have me back on the road AND not leaking any coolant, My bmw and I both thank them whole heartedly!

What a shop!!! I have spent over 20 years in the automotive industry. I came to this place from a friend's recommendation, and was not disappointed. CLEAR, FAST COMMUNICATION, my needs were addressed first, ZERO pressure. My vehicle was finished in a timely manner. I did not let this place know I came from the auto world. I was not disappointed. I would have loved to work for an owner like Nelson. These people care, you are not a $ sign to them! 10 stars

Nelson said what he could do, did better(much better) than the dealership and did it quickly, efficiently and everyone from the front desk to the driver to the owner have an attitude of service and integrity because they care about a future with their customers in it! What a novel approach integrity and work ethic; sounds successful. Go see them, you’ll see!

The owner of this establishment (Nelson) came to our rescue one day and my husband and I will forever be grateful. We religiously had our Toyota’s worked on at the dealership until we found Next Level Mechanics. The workmanship and pricing made all the difference! If I could give 10 stars I would!! I had a major mechanical issue on my truck that require extensive repair time. Next Level Mechanics did an excellent job in communicating the timeliness of the job and the overall impact, they were beyond fair with me. The shop is incredibly busy and its obvious why, they are that quality mechanic we all seek. Highly recommend taking your vehicle here! The shop looks significantly better after the recent remodel.

Took my truck in for the first time today based solely on the Google reviews and I was not disappointed! I don’t remember the lady who helped me but there was also Nelson. They did a complete sweep of my coolant system and even adjusted my break switch for me. I will definitely be back for all my vehicles needs and will be spreading them like wildfire!

Had work done on 2001 f250 4×4. Steering box broken. Fast, excellent work, and very honest. Highly recommend this shop for any of your needs they work on everything. I can’t say enough good things about Next Level Mechanics! My husband first tried taking our car to the dealer and not only was it super expensive but it was going to take 2 weeks to get my car back. Called Next Level and they were able to get me in same day and the quote was half of what the dealership offered. I had my car back within 3 days vs two weeks the dealership was offering. I’ve subsequently gone back for an oil change and recently had some work done on my brakes! I’ve even referred some friends over to Next Level and they had the same amazing experience! Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. The place is really clean and anytime I call, someone always answers and is very helpful. It sucks having to repair a car but Next Level makes things so easy!!

It’s really hard to find good, reliable mechanics in Tucson especially for diesel vehicles!! We brought our VW to Nelson with just a clacking noise, coolant and AC issues, a rattling at our wheels it was a mess, but Nelson and the team were able to detect the issues so quick and the quote was VERY reasonable with all the work that needed to be done! My car is aging and German but she is clean and reliable. I’ve been trying to avoid the dealer and was looking for a reliable, honest mechanic that worked on BMW. Next level did an excellent job an my aging BMW. Not everyone works on BMW and many that do are very expensive. Next level pricing was fair. I know this shop to be honest and hard working. The quality of their work is on par with their work ethic, excellent! They fixed the immediate issue I was having and then gave my car the once over. They provided me a list of maintenance to keep in mind. No pressure or urgency but things to be mindful of. They also serviced my daughter’s little Chevy. They fixed the issue at hand and provided her a list of recommendations. This was a little overwhelming for her at first but then she understood it was no rush but things that were showing wear and would be coming up. This list proved super helpful for her to budget for maintenance issues and not be surprised when they come up. Highly recommend this shop. Quality work, friendly and fair.

Recently bought a Lexus IS350 with 245k miles and had it inspected by them. After the inspection, I was educated about the timing cover and why it needed replacing; on top of other important parts like the water pump, timing chain, motor mounts, system flush, and a few more. I worked on many of my own cars typically but this was a big job for me. Thankfully with their knowledge and advice, I was able to refresh the motor like brand new and be prepped for other upgrades in the next month or two. Their pricing was extremely affordable for the amount of work, and the turn around time was faster than expected. They showed me all the work the did, and taught me some things as well! Great team there, honest work, and they went above and beyond. I’ll be back in a month or so for my diff bushings, coilover install, and more !! And will need a timing belt done on my other vehicle! Overall, very satisfied with the quality work they provided! Thank you team! Apr 2024: I’ve brought my car back over and over for multiple jobs. And each time it’s been fixed with a great turnaround time. All such as throttle body, fuel injector rings, purge valve, etc!

I had a last minute emergency, and needed to go on a 2000 mile road trip. These guys were amazing about fitting me in just before the holidays, taking care of everything I needed to have a safe trip -- and then deal with an unexpected surprise that needed resolution out of no where. And to top it all off, their pricing was much better than I could have asked for. I am so grateful I found these guys, and now I have a place I can trust to take care of my car.
