Great experience from start to finish! Needed both front and rear brakes plus rotors. Called ahead of time and was scheduled. on the day of my appointment I arrived and dropped my car off around 9 a.m. I received the call to pick up my car around 4:30 PM. Jimmy and the team, professionals from start to finish. Prompt communication and fairest prices in town!

5 ⭐️ ! I know nothing about cars & Nicks Auto could have totally took advantage of that & charge me anything & i wouldnt have even known the difference. BUT they didnt. They were HONEST & very reasonable with prices. Not only that, they were quick & everyone was very friendly. I highly suggest Nicks Auto Repair & if anything else happens to my car I will definitely be going back to them. Thanks a ton !

Honest, reliable and fair prices! I originally took my car to the ford dealer. I was experiencing a weird issue and figured the dealership would probably know what’s up. They kept my car for a few days and returned it letting me know they had no idea what the issue was. I decided to give Nicks a shot. It did take a week to get in, so know that they are busy, but they are worth it! They figured out the issue after explaining what was going on with it. Diagnostics didn’t catch anything so this was all exploratory on their part. Honest when calling me to let me know their solution may not work but we could give it a try. Over a month later and my car is still running just fine. They have gained a new loyal customer for sure!

My son was stranded an hour and a half away from home last Saturday at 11 PM when his CRV just died on the side of the road. He had it towed to Nick’s based on close proximity and reviews and left it for Monday morning. Based on reviews stating how busy they are, we were thinking they might not be able to check it out for a few days, but they looked at it first thing Monday and said exactly what we thought it was, the alternator, and that it would be ready by that afternoon. They updated him again early afternoon, and we headed back down to pick it up before close. The price was reasonable for an alternator repair and we were so thankful they did not inflate the cost given his situation. Thanks for being honest and taking care of our son’s car so quickly and professionally! He may be moving down there, so you might just have yourself a new customer!

This was my first time getting work done on my car at Nick's and they have just gained a loyal customer. I had my car towed due to a failed starter, and they were able to get it fixed in a day for a third of the price I was quoted from a different shop. Thanks, Nick's!

Nightmare in real life live ;a 14 hours job turned into a 16 days and still dealing with a coolant a many mishaps and broken snap and missing bracket s + turbocharged broken tubes and after 3 different mechanics finally a master mechanic got it time but the damage is done and I now notice a coolant going out somewhere for I have to refill the coolant reservoir every 10 miles ; with this issues by a instant car fix I obviously can’t not recommend these services to anyone with problems that need replacing parts in F150 with 3.5 turbocharged engines! I lost a lot of time and money 💰 for choosing the wrong service for my vehicle needs! So frustrating!

1st post was in 2019: my car was having issues on a Sunday afternoon, so I showed up to Nick's at 8am on a Monday morning w/o an appointment. they took me in and had my car ready the same day. few weeks later, car is running great. would recommend to anyone follow up 4/19/24 took my same car to Nick's this morning thinking it was leaking coolant and I was scared to think it was going to be a major costly repair, there was a puddle underneath my car the previous night and my coolant was an inch below the line. Jimmy spent his time taking my car in the next morning after the problem, think he did a pressure test, topped it off with coolant, and assured me there's no issues with the car it was just some water dripping. He charged me nothing and there is no way I can be more grateful to Jimmy and Nick's Auto Repair. Thank you Jimmy!

Had a complicated repair involving some suspension damage. Had been turned down by one mechanic shop and 2 body shops. Nick's fixed it for a great price and quicker than expected. Will definitely return.

I took my 2016 Jeep Cherokee to get new brakes and have the rotors checked. We ended up needing new brakes and rotors. They told me the price and it was a very fair price so we proceeded. Jeep wanted a lot more! When we went to pick it up, they showed us the rotors so we could see what the problem was which was very helpful! He new the car had been up north due to the salt corrosion. I also had an oil change which was fairly priced. We took a chance with Nick's Auto Repair and I'm so glad we did! We will be taking our vehicles here instead of the dealerships from now on. Highly recommend them!

They did some repair for my truck and 1999 Lexus RX 300 in the past. I will never take my car to another shop. It's hard to find honest mechanic in Charlotte areas.

We went to nicks after being told we needed a part replaced by another mechanic and were quoted significantly less here. When dropping my car off, we were told that it was very rare to have this certain part replaced on our car. He recommended they do there own diagnostic before proceeding. Thankfully they did and ended up saving us a lot of money. They were quick and great at communicating and keeping us up to date. I will be back.

Been stumped on an electrical issue in my Cadillac for weeks.Had it towed to nicks preparing to pay thousands (if they could even figure out the issue ) 24 hrs and less than 500bucks later, I drove it home!! So awesome! Thanks jimmy!

I've used Nick's Auto Repair since I moved to Charlotte in 2018. Nothing but honest, truly kind, and talented staff. I've never been upcharged or sold something I didn't need and they can do maintenance for a fraction of the cost of a dealership or Firestone. They fully have my trust and I will only let Nick's Auto work on my car! Cannot recommend enough!!

Jimmy at Nick's Auto Repair is fantastic. Honest, responsive, quality work too. Prices are reasonable and always upfront about costs before work begins. I have been there at least a dozen times and most recently to have head gasket repair on a 2002 Subaru Outback. Highly recommend!!

Was visiting from Greensboro and brake light on the dash came on. Pulled into this shop and they were kind enough to find the problem (leaking brake fluid) and fill up my fluid. And free of charge! I was able to get back to Greensboro without issue. If I live in Charlotte, I would come to this shop for all my car needs. They were friendly and fast.
