As if that wasn’t bad enough, during the most recent oil change, which I had to pay for out of pocket despite their supposed “protection program” coverage, the mechanic left the oil cap off, causing oil to spray all over my engine. The result? I heard loud engine noises and had to deal with the mess and potential damage from their negligence. The level of incompetence and carelessness is simply shocking.

I had an amazing experience at North Oak Car Care recently! I was in a bind, needing a new tire before heading out of town, and the owner (Kyle) went above and beyond to help. Even though he was in the middle of a busy day, he ensured that my car got the new tire it needed. He traveled across town to personally pick up a tire needed to get me back on the road. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication to customer service really stood out. Thanks to him, I was able to get back on the road quickly and safely. I took my car to North Oak Auto care from the moment I stepped in a asked for service the man was dismissive/rude never greeted me as a customer asked him to check my oil being that he only had appointment for the next day wanted to be sure I didn’t mess engine riding with low oil acted as if he had an attitude even doing that. skip next day today I come for appointment he’s at computer eating and just like yesterday dismissive I preceded to tell him I was there for appointment he just shook head never acknowledged me I informed him how I was taking his attitude and that it was coming off rude, he preceded to tell me well you can go somewhere else all because I’m informing him as a customer that he was being rude he shrugs his shoulders saying again you can go else where! A man “white man” walks in after me as me and my children preceded to sit and wait for service he greets this customer with a smile and how you doing sir i said your didn’t greet me like you did him and he told me to get out so I say why because I’m black he says in front of my kids because I was a “woman” he wouldn’t give name called to get owner he answered phn of course and says he treated me that way because a was belligerent and that he was the owner so I hung up I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone!! To add to your reply you never greeted me not one time you were very rude and I only cursed at you because you were being disrespectful infront of my children and you never greeted me Ike you did the other customer he got a hello sir how can I help you when I walked I you never even looked at me just ate and nodded your a pair and you are a racist the way you carried yourself was very unprofessional infront if my children and you were the one being belligerent and unapologetic when I made you aware that you were being rude and that you never greeted me and my black children because you simply chose not to please don’t get in here and lie I you and I both know what you did and how you treated me you treat people how you want to being kind is a choice and you chose to be rude and dismissive to me and my children you should treat and greet every customer with the same attitude

Was quoted work over the phone. I go to drop the truck off and was told sometning completely different. Deceptive I’d shop elsewhere.

Dude I searched all day for a place to inspect my vehicle, these guys were so nice and got me in out and inspected in like 20 minutes. Very sweet to my little baby too. Vending machine in the waiting room has good drinks and snacks too!

Went for car inspection...Noticed I was failed for a lot of the things other people have mentioned on here, including bald tires that don't even have 20,000 miles on them. Quoted about $3000 to fix things. I will be checking elsewhere and will post what other inspection stations say. It's worth me spending $12 at 5 other places to see what they say. If I'm told the same thing, I will post that too.

Have recommended them several times and used them several times, this time was a miss. Edit: just so we’re clear, according to your response I would have to first agree to in my case I’m sure would have been 5-600$ worth of services to get the whole diagnosis, only to then conveniently have it be a non related part then I just spent 600$ fixing

I took my daughter's car in for the MO Inspection. They failed it with things that (ultimately) shouldn't have failed it. They told me it would be $3000+ to fix the things that needed fixed to pass. We ended up selling the car; the people who bought the car took it in for an inspection elsewhere and it PASSED! This is a place that is more concerned about getting $$ out of you than personal care (and more important TRUST). Go elsewhere!

My wife and I were in a spot, car broke down on a Saturday, called North Oak Car care Monday morning, their highly recommended automobile repair specialists fixed the car and we got it back on Tuesday, would recommend North Oak car care for all your automobile repairs.

This place way overcharges. Wanted $1100 for struts. Got them done for $500 elsewhere. Last week they wanted $1000 for front wheel calipers. Got them done for $200. They should be ashamed of ripping people off this much. Read your reviews people and save lots of money.

Used to be my favorite spot when I moved north. They were fast, reliable, and affordable…. Now, I can’t say they’re either. The $140 inspection fee TO TELL ME THE OBVIOUS is insane. I dropped the car off for a leak. They charged me the inspection fee to tell me…. “You have a leak”. YA DONT SAYYYY! Definitely missing the old owner but finding a new shop until further notice!

Got new tires a few months ago for my wife’s car. They also repaired two of our tires previously when we ran over a nail in Liberty. It was a great experience, they were very fair on their pricing. Excellent communication and an overall positive experience. I highly recommend.
