Really great shop with really great people. I’ve been going for inspections and regular maintenance for about 4 years now and only once did I have to have any work done to pass inspection (which was an issue known by me). Richard is very honest and up front about the work being done and clear about costs ahead of time. They’re also really quick, sometimes I’m amazed by how soon they call me for pick up! I highly recommend for any car needs.

Richard is a god send don’t go anywhere else! Every woman knows how nerve wracking it can be to go to a mechanic but Richard is knowledgeable, honest, and so helpful. I know when I bring my car to his shop it’s in good hands.

I recently moved to Philly and needed to get an inspection done. Finding a new mechanic can always be a little nervewracking but I’m so glad I trusted the reviews! I brought my car in within 30 minutes of opening and my car was ready by early afternoon. I had a very pleasant experience and will definitely be coming back for all my car needs! So grateful there’s a kind, honest, and reliable mechanic so close to me

Having never had my car serviced in Philadelphia except for a dealer who charged WAYYY too much, I was hesitant to try a shop right in the city. But thankfully Richard is a total pro and all around great guy. He took care of my 2018 Jeep GC like it was his own and answered all of my questions. His pricing is extremely fair and he is so knowledgeable about what a car really needs and when. He doesn’t take appointments so get there right at 7am to get your car in- sometimes there is a line waiting for him when he arrives (a true test to a loyal customer base). Thank you Richard!

Went in for an inspection, Richard was able to get me in the next day after I called. Got the inspection done fast and had great communication. Ill bring my car to him for any future repairs I have.

Been trying to find any shop around here that won't oversell me something and just get me taken care of all over the city. Finally found a place that doesn't! Genuine people, fair prices and great service. If I run into an issue ever again, this is the place I'm taking my car to!

Really nice people and great service. They've always done a great job with my car and the prices are reasonable. Just a tip though, they get really busy so you've got to come by in the morning before they fill up for the day.

Excellent—i just moved to Philly and needed an inspection. These folks identified a defect in one of the tires. Fixing this cured my Hondas long term vibration issue. A good experience all around. Thank-you

Highly recommend. We've been going to Richard for 4-5 years now for oil changes, inspection, and brake pad changes. He's honest, well-priced, and efficient. We will continue going to his shop for our auto repair needs!

I have used Northern Liberties Auto Repair for years. The owner is in my opinion a very honest guy, which is a rare quality to find in mechanics. They have helped me with many problems over the years, and are great to have in the Olde Kensington neighborhood.

I brought in some of my own materials/parts and owner charged me only for labor! But if you’re looking for ease they also have oil at the shop. Very friendly as well! Prices are just right. I also got my emissions and inspection done here!

I was in desperate need for my muffler to be fixed. I use my car as my legs bc I'm actually disabled. So having my car break down or not able to function right isn't any good for me. So I searched all over Google and I seen all the posts and reviews about Richard and how he's one of the fastest, most reliable and best prices around in the city of Philadelphia. I did more research bc I'm real funny about who touches my car beings I was a biker baby and I'm used to my own mechanics from the club or lifestyle. Well I gave it a chance and I'm EXTREMELY HAPPY. HE WILL NOW BE MY MECHANIC FOR EVERYTHING THATS HOW GOOD HE WAS TO ME AND MY BABY. I HAD THE MOST PLEASANT, PROFESSIONAL, HONEST, AND INSIGHTFUL CONVERSATION ABOUT MY CAR AND JUST HIS WAY OF DOING BUSINESS THAT I HAVE ALREADY REFERRED TO SEVERAL PEOPLE.
