Waste of money, had an alignment done steering wheel is still sideways wanted more money to adjust the alignment saying to loosen two bolts to get camber correct. Would not go here

Garbage business model and terrible customer service. No advertisement that smogs are not accepted past 430pm despite closing at 5. If you’re open you’re open. No exceptions.

BEWARE!!!! These people are scammers! Came in here because my vehicle was shaking when in idle or stopped. They claimed it was the motor mounts and found that my spark plugs also needed replacing. I said fine, do what you need to do. Well not only did they NOT fix the problem, they made it WORSE. They claimed the motor mounts were OEM, they are NOT. They replaced with used ones! Also, the spark plugs were NOT replaced and if they were, again they replaced with USED ones!!! How do I know all this? Because when I realized the problem was not fixed, I took it to the dealership I bought the vehicle from in Roseville. The shop in Roseville took out the motor mounts and checked the spark plugs and they just confirmed that in fact, Northstar DID NOT do what they claimed they did. To make things worse, Northstar claimed that the brakes on my vehicle (the whole system) also needed replacing. Again, they LIED. I took it to Les Schwab to verify (Les Schwab did the brakes in February) and they SHOWED me that my brakes are fine. It's sad that there are people, whom you trust with your vehicle, take advantage like that.

The troubleshooter there doesn't know how to troubleshoot a problem, they told me what was supposedly wrong with my vehicle and after they "fix it" it's still doing the same thing plus they told me my brakes were bad when I just got them all done in February

Do not recommend. Their used tires they are selling are 100% unsafe. I don’t see how they’re doing it. Also took like an hour to change two tires. No one else was there, either.

I went to the shop to get my brakes replaced, but soon after, they started squeaking loudly. Worried, I called the shop, and they told me to bring the car back in, possibly at an extra cost for inspection. Upon returning with my vehicle, the owner barely acknowledged me, remaining seated as he dismissed my concerns, claiming we had driven the car for too long. Despite my pleas for help and alternatives, he showed no willingness to assist, leaving me feeling helpless and cheated. This experience at the auto shop has been incredibly disheartening. The owner's dismissive attitude and lack of empathy made it clear that our satisfaction wasn't a priority. It felt like we'd been taken advantage of, with no recourse for justice.

Came for brakes check Brake light was on too Thy asked 40$ For diagnostic which i payed for it Thy give me very high price for fixing Then thy said if i want check the brake light Its will be more 40$ Thy trying milk peoples money Thy taking advantage of people situation Not recommended at all !!! Scamming people While i was here in the shop another 2 people complain about them

I got new rotors installed at Northstar smog. A couple of weeks after the install, I was hearing squeaky/grinding sound coming from the wheel. When I took it back to them 2 months later, they tried to charge $60 to look at it. I said no thanks and took it to Les Schawb where they did the inspection and fixed the bent rotor plate that they botched from the installation all for free. To make matters worse when I got the care back from them I received it with heavy grease stains on my steering wheel, seat, door and door handle. I don't know how these guys are in still in business.

This place is just out for people's money. I've taken my vehicle there twice to figure out what a noise was. At first they told me the power steering pump and pulley needs to be replaced. I had a family member do that. The noise was still there. So I went back and had them recheck it. They said it had to be a different pulley, so I had them all replaced. Noise was still there. Took my vehicle to Danny's automotive in Rancho, and within 20 mins they found the issue (collapsed vacuum hose) and fixed it!! Be cautious of this place!!

Very Friendly, awesome people! They installed my interlock device and I had a couple problems after… they fixed everything and were awesome about it! They are honest and helpful! Would absolutely recommend them for an interlock device or any other repairs or needs

If you wanna get all 4 new tires please don’t go here they will give you a good price but they missed up my sensor and said it was tied with a rope and was trying to over charge for a new sensor and bad customer service they barly give you receipts so you can’t do anything I wouldn’t recommend here to anyone.

They're friendly and do get your car fix at a convenient time. I took my car in today to get my bumper, headlight, and fender replaced and got it back the same day. The owner/manager ZEE he was so awesome for looking for a shop where I can get my parts and Northstar installed them for me in the timely matter. They're all really nice and response to their customer's very efficiently. Thank you so much for all that you do.
