Fabulous place! Jimmy and the whole team was so extremely helpful. I was in a pickle last minute, and they were able to not only get my car towed (for a reasonable rate) the same day I called, but they also were able to get everything fixed with my car in just a couple of days right before the holiday so I could travel. Customer service is phenomenal, but the quality of the repairs was also exceptional! They even cleaned and detailed my VERY dirty car. 10/10!

I wished I had found Nortown Auto sooner. Jimmy is a great guy, trustworthy, and he cultivates an honest and diligent culture throughout his shop. His crew is just as solid as he is. I stopped in early on a weekday (with no appointment) for an oil change, tire rotation, and alignment and I got my truck back the same day. No upsell, no pressure, and clear communication. Makes me happy to do business with good people like these guys. Thanks again, Jimmy.

This place is perfect!! Always has been a highlight of the city of Chicago!! Thank you so much for your staff and help making sure my van was safe so I could get to my very first Cubs game on Wednesday!! Another reason why Nortown Auto is the best ever!! May 2024 update All day I was driving around town, thinking that there must be a lot of fires in Chicago that day because the air smelled really bad. Finally, I realized that the smell was coming from my own car! No wonder why the smell was everywhere I went. So I called Jimmy at Nortown and he let me bring my car in immediately, even though it was late in the day. His team fixed my car the very next day (the brake calipers had locked up on one tire, hence the bad smell). Thank you to Jimmy and Nortown!! You're the reason I can keep my 20-year-old car going. I appreciate you. ============ I have a very old car and, when my engine light went on, a friend suggested taking my car to Nortown. I'm so glad that I did because there were some major safety issues that they corrected. It's running very smoothly now.

I searched for a reputable and SKILLED shop to work on my bucket-list truck, to replace the Engine Mounts, Transmission Mount and replace my Air Conditioning Condensor... They took their time, which I appreciate, as I don't want a RUSHED job, I want a GOOD job. Their shop rate is MORE than fair for the quality of work they do, and I will not hesitate to go back there in January to have them do some preventive maintenance work I want to have done. Thank you , Jimmy and Crew for the EXCELLENT WORK and for going above and beyong on this last job.
