Unimpressed. Chose to use other shops that inspired more confidence. They gave me the lowest quote, but the quote was not itemized and he did not do any research into parts, paint, etc. Middle of the day and no work was being done.

This is a new place, now it is a bakery, marigoldbakershop, they serve fresh coffee, bread, and other things, come in and enjoy a delicious coffee and delicious bread

I brought in my BMW for estimate on cosmetic body damage and I met with Armen. Very polite and informative guy. He gave me couple options to choose from with different prices. Very honest person returned the car to me within couple of hours better than before. I finally found the guy I was looking for, for a long time. P.S. during this Pandemic, he follows all the Protocols and ensures the safety of his clients.

I dare say that ever since Henry Ford and Karl Benz revolutionized modern transport with their inventions, few minds have been occupied with the question, “What would make the ideal auto repair shop?” Yet this was just the question that occurred to me earlier this year when, my brake pads having failed, I set about a tedious search for a garage where I could have my Prius serviced. To my mind, the ideal auto repair shop is one that combines honest prices, expert mechanics, short turnarounds, and a location convenient to my workplace or home. Yet knowing as I do that life is one long exercise in settling for what’s available, not holding out for what’s imaginable, I had no illusions that a search even graced by the Lord himself would lead me to the door of a garage that boasted, at most, half of the above. Imagine my delight, then, when I found Nova Auto Center, an auto repair shop so exceptional as to remove any distinction between the real and the ideal. My discovery of Nova was all the more fortunate considering I’d gone there somewhat blindly, with no referral or recommendation. Before I'd gone, I’d paged through Nova’s reviews on Yelp and Google, which, though very favorable, were relatively few. (I later learned this was because Nova hasn’t been open very long.) In the end, it was Nova’s nearness to my home, which is within walking distance, that made the most persuasive appeal, so I decided to take a chance. Little did I expect that this was to prove a wager worthy of a jackpot-winning gambler. My first exposure to Nova, in the person of its owner. Armen, made an excellent impression. Arriving there on a late weekday afternoon, I found Armen busy with a repair; yet as soon as he saw me, a new customer, he disengaged himself from his work and hurried over to introduce himself. Greeting me warmly, Armen, a fellow of 30 or so with a friendly air and an easy manner, spoke without the least impatience or pushiness. Indeed, he seemed to have no other care than to help me. If Armen’s manner told me that Nova was in good hands, there followed three things that positively convinced me it was. First, before I could mention the reason for my visit, Armen guessed it--and with nothing more to go on than the sounds announcing my car’s arrival when I'd pulled into his lot. Second, after a quick inspection, Armen quoted a price for the repair that was a good bit lower than what a friend (an ex-mechanic) had told me, before I came, would be reasonable. And, finally, just when I might have concluded that there was nothing further Armen could do to endear himself to me, he came out with it: my car would be ready for pickup the following day. He proved a man of his word: to the turnover time and cost of the repair, no days or dollars were added. Since this first visit, I’ve been a regular and ever-satisfied Nova customer, having been back, if I mistake not, three times (once for a problem with my alternator and twice for oil changes). The same honesty, exemplary service, low prices, and expertise that so much impressed me initially have been constants subsequently. Nor have I kept Nova’s excellence a secret. I recommend Nova to every driver of my acquaintance who stands in need of a mechanic. Even for those like me who don’t tingle with excitement at the prospect of a trip to the mechanic, going to Armen's garage, thanks to his captaincy of this first-class ship, the USS Nova, isn't just painless but pleasant. An auto repair shop that approaches more closely to my--or to anyone else’s--ideal is not to be found.

It is weird how all the bad reviews are replied by the owner with "I do not know this person" (there's a reason why people write reviews) TRUST THOSE BAD REVIEWS!! Would not recommend this auto shop. Even the surrounding auto shops know the kind of cheap quality work that is done at this shop. I would not recommend this place at all! Pico Blvd is filled with much better options! This auto shop was supposed to fix my engine. My car ended up breaking down in the middle of the road. I had to tow my car to another repair shop. The management did nothing to help me out and I was stranded on the road. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!

I took my 2011 Toyota Camry to Nova Auto Center to get the back bumper repaired and I talked to Armen. He was very helpful, honest and very professional. I'm very satisficed with the work and it looked brand new.

My car is getting old, he always gives me a price first and date to pick up and he doesn't try to get me to fix 10 things I didn't come in for. He is honest, reasonably priced, does what he says and is done when he says he will be. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience!!! I had heavy body damage on my 2016 benz. Armen gave me a very reasonable quote. When I got the call that my car was ready, I was surprised how fast they finished the work. When I arrived to pick up my benz Armen told me the price and it was less then what he quoted me. Armen also detailed my benz without charging me. I'm glad I found this place.

Had a giant scratch on my new BMW on the right fender and Armen gave the car back to me refinished and repainted THE NEXT DAY. It is impossible to tell that the fender had prior damage. Excellent work. Thank You.

I took my 2004 Honda Accord to Armen with the warning light on. He immediately went to work to diagnose it. He ended up spending a few hours figuring out the problem and didn't charge me anything! My old mechanic charged a minimum of $150 just to diagnose the problem. Going in Wednesday to have the air flow sensor and a hose replaced. Thanks Armen and the guys at Nova Auto.

Armen is my neighbor and he recently repaired my Honda Accord which had body damage on the front end. Looks like nothing ever happened! I was surprised that a car could be restored to like new condition. Work was fast and the price was very low. I recommend Nova Auto Center.
