Amazing crew at this location. Chris and Lorenzo were extremely informative from beginning to end. I had just purchased a vehicle for business and he gave a detailed report of everything that it needed and advised what needed to be done in order of importance. I run a small business and his knowledge and expertise I found extremely valuable because I felt that my car (livelihood) was important to him and the crew. Definitely coming back to start crossing items off of the "to-do" list for my car!!! I come back again and again for the great service.

My car tire dropped low and the car said it was at a critically low point so I drove into NTB and Jordan was so kind. He filled up all of my tires and just assured me that it was due to the cold weather we had last night and that in the winter we needed to have my tires at a different level so he aired, all of them up and was very very nice.

Accused me of being racist! Curious how a simple brake inspection could escalate into that? Read on... I took my vehicle in yesterday afternoon and was left a message near closing time explaining work that needed to be done... Brake pads and rotors. I just needed to call in the morning to approve the work. So far, so good. I called back this morning to follow up and the service rep (whose name I'll omit out of respect) said he wasn't there yesterday and needed to look into it, so he would call me back. At this point, I'm already thinking it's strange because there should be an estimate handy and I definitely needed to ask about the rotors since I just replaced them on the last brake job. But no worries, mornings can be busy and maybe I caught him in the middle of something else. 15 minutes goes by... then 30... then 45... and no call. I decided to drive up there because evidently they were too busy to return my call. When I arrived around 9:15 am, all bays were empty except my vehicle up on a lift with the wheels off. At this point, it has been an hour since I called about it, and as far as I could see there were 3 employees with nothing else going on. At this point, the perception was certainly sub-par, but I owed them an opportunity to explain. I walked in the front door, introduced myself, and asked about my vehicle. The same guy who answered the phone an hour earlier tells me to hang on while he goes to look into it. I told him nevermind, just have them button it back up so I can take it somewhere else. This surprised him, and he asked what was wrong. I explained that I didn't observe a proper sense of urgency and felt the lack of a return call over an hour was unacceptable given the apparent lack of activity. This is where things took an adversarial tone as the service rep became defensive. This was off point and I could sense the conversation was shifting from my vehicle to his job performance, so I asked to see the manager. He started mouthing off to me as he turned toward the garage and we had a brief exchange where I explained to him that I was considering a negative review, but I don't like to do that without talking to a manager. When they returned, I recognized the manager, Chris, because I have used this NTB before and been pleased. I explained the whole situation as the service rep stood in my periphery sighing and shaking his head. I was remaining calm and ignoring his lack of respect, but when I mentioned his confrontational attitude to Chris, the rep blew up and said I was treating HIM disrespectfully because of his color. Not one thing was said about race until then, and when I mentioned that race had no place in the conversation, he doubled down and said I treated the manager with more respect because he is white. He continued his verbal assault to the point Chris had to raise his voice multiple times just to get him out of the room. In the end, we agreed to just put the wheels back on and go our separate ways. Needless to say, NTB has lost a repeat customer for life. I still hate to leave a bad review on a place I've happily done business before, but this went from a complaint about slow service to defending my character at a public place of business. On a positive note, I felt Chris responded respectfully and used the opportunity to mentor a young professional. Customer service is a tough job, but it really is the difference between keeping a loyal customer and having them continue their search among so many competitors.

Although I have used this NTB before through out the years, I am disappointed that what should have been a simple correction to a worker’s mistake has been very problematic for me. Returning to the store multiple times to be given apologies but incomplete service, is a very poor reflection on the store. The disregard for my time is also a problem . I feel as though they did not expect me to require a complete and thorough rectification to the problem they caused.

Feel like I should have stuck with Discount Tire after purchasing from NTB. Really is no comparison in the service received after purchase. Totally different experience with one your greeted before entering the store at Ntb you might need to wait till they get to front , as far as appointments go never had an issue at Discount. Today at Ntb on N. Tarrant they couldn't even fine an appointment When I asked to schedule later in day he was able to call my name out automatically without a view of car or any mention of my name. Made me wonder how he knew that hopefully it will go smoothly when I return, lesson learned next set will definitely be from someone other than NTB. Our return visit was much better we were taken care of fairly quick the Manager Chris helped smooth over the earlier confusion and said my battery tested bad and he would be willing to knock off 20 bucks for a new one we declined and immediately deove to advance auto and had battery, starter and alternator checked all came back good so I will probably have it checked at auto zone later to confirm what I need to do. Wasn't a very smooth experience I do appreciate Chris effort though it making things right? 😂 We

Brought my car in to fix a flat via appointment. Unfortunately it was too big of a hole to fix so I had a get a new tire. They got to my car right away and had me back on the road in under an hour. Thank you so much!

I came in with a battery problem. I was told how much it would cost to replace. I agreed. You know you have to have a good battery in your car. Jordan went out to the shop area with great news. He said I had bought my battery at NTB and it was still under warranty. How great was that.? It warms my heart to know there are still some honest people in this world. Let me preface this with this being my first review of any business that's how great this place is. I came in about 5:15 (45 min before closing) with tires that, well I was on borrowed time with. Chris, Lorenzo and Casey hooked me up big time! Not only were they awesome people to work with, they were friendly professionals straight to the point and extremely helpful when issues popped up. All three took extra time out of their Friday to help get me new and awesome tires on my car and provided a sick atmosphere while doing so. Lorenzo even gave us some snack tips. This is a great shop with 3 dudes who clearly care about the customer, their job and are willing to do whatever it takes to deliver 5 star service. I can't recommend this place enough and will for sure be coming back with any future car issues.
