I brought my car in for my appointment to get four tires and an alignment. I was kindly greeted by the manager, Tom, who walked me through the various tire options. The pricing was fair and transparent, offering great value for the quality of service provided. I appreciated knowing that I was getting top-notch service without breaking the bank. The staff worked diligently to complete the necessary maintenance on my car in a timely manner, saving me valuable time and hassle. While I waited their waiting room was very clean with comfy seating, tv, and water. So glad that I found you guys here at NTB in McIntyre square! They’ve got my business from this point forward.

I came in for a possible issue with my car. While I waited for my car, one of the other customers was being very rude and ignorant towards the gentleman working at the front counter. I commend the manager for remaining so calm and polite while this costumer threw his impatient temper tantrum because lord knows I wouldn’t have reacted the same. Just because he drives a bmw he thinks he’s more important than anyone. I am very impressed by the dignity of the staff at this NTB and I would highly recommend this shop to handle any of your automotive repair needs.

I had an appointment at 10am on a Monday to replace 4 tires and have my car realigned. I arrived just before 10am and waited 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to check me in. I’ve been sitting in the waiting room now for over an hour and my car is still sitting in the parking lot waiting to be serviced. What is the purpose of having an appointment if there is no commitment on when the car will be serviced. Given my experience I’d rather buy my tires elsewhere, even if I have to pay a bit more for better service. NTB has gone downhill since being bought out by Mavis. They’ve lost my business from this point forward. Update: Now 2 hours and counting. Update 2: 2 hours 30 minutes and no sign of my car. No updates from the service manager or time estimate. Stuck in a dingy waiting room with no water or coffee. God help me! Update 3: 3hours! I think this is now a formal hostage situation. Someone please send help!

Steve gave us an appointment to have the car looked at same day. After a short wait he went over the problem with us and proposed a solution that saved us from a costly repair. Very glad to find this friendly shop. We'll be coming back.

I am posting this review because of my EXPERIENCE at this NTB. 3600 Mcintyre Square Dr Pittsburgh, PA 15237 2 days prior to my appointment i was at this location to get a FREE brake check before my state inspection was due. I told the clerk i was not sure about my tires so he went to my suv and checked them and said they are good, at least 5/16 tread. When i went in for the appointment two days later i told the mechanic / inspector if the vehicle had good brakes to just do the state inspection. He came out and asked me to come back to show me some things. He stated that i needed all new brake pads, all new rotors and all new tires for inspection. I was shocked being one of the other mechanics said my tires were fine. He stated the other guy didn't look close enough but the guy guy used a tire depth guage on all 4 tires. I then stated i cannot afford all that at one time. I am a senior and disabled. So i contacted the garage i always go to for work and told them what happened. When my garage checked my vehicle and contacted me i was told to come pick my vehicle and told me it passed inspection with no problems.. Charged me $50.00 and said have a nice day. By the way NTB charges $90.00 to inspect a car??? Also this location does not have a lobby with seating at all...WORSED PLACE I EVER WENT TO. They tried to take advantage of a disabled senior.

I am really touched after my oil change today! I originally called Jim Shorkey where I leased my vehicle to set up a service appt. No one answered except a message came on telling me to go to the website and schedule service because it was easier. Well, it wasn’t user friendly, and was unable…So, I called NTB… no matter what jam I get myself into, they make it right and with a smile and a caring attitude! Today I went in for the oil change, and mentioned in passing that my windshield was a mess. Well, one of them remembered and after a few minutes down the road I realized they cleaned ALL my windows! Sometimes its the small things that mean the most! I truly appreciate you guys, your honesty, and wonderful attitudes, hard to come by these days. I will continue to be a great customer of yours! I had an alignment done at another shop that I suspected was not really done. I took it to Steve at NTB McIntyre and he confirmed my suspicions. He took the time to show me the machine and how it's done, then did the alignment for me. Steve was very honest and helpful, I'll trust him with all my car needs in the future. Kudo's to you Steve.

ASM Steve + crew were a HUGE help! Came in with a dying battery and not only did they work hard to resolve the issue, they made sure to take the time to go above and beyond to make sure everything else was working right too with the system. Great folks and great customer service and support. Steve is a great guy!

If you find yourself in Pittsburgh, as we did while on holiday from the UK, and are in need of help to address a damaged and deflating tire on a rental car (or any car, I suspect!), I’d have no hesitation recommending Steve and his colleagues at NTB on McIntyre Square Drive. NTB on McKnight Road is THE PLACE to get any car issues fixed. The staff are super friendly, helpful & know what they’re doing. You are taken care of immediately and the wait time is always reasonable. Whether I go in for an oil change, tire repair, or inspection, I am always satisfied with the service I receive.

I drive from California to Pittsburgh and I had low tire pressure. I randomly drove by NTB and decided to walked in to see if they could help. My experience from start to finish was excellent. The staff were amazing. They checked my tires and saw a nail and offered to take it out, fix it and put air in all my tires. I just moved back to the area and I’m looking no further for my car care. I highly recommend them.

This is maybe my fourth time going to this NTB. I drive twice a year from Colorado to Pittsburgh to visit my grandma. This last February I had an issue that needed attention while I was in Pittsburgh and they took care of it right away! This week I developed a bad thunking in my brand new shocks. Of course the night before I needed to drive back to CO. They got my car looked at immediately at 4:30pm. The shocks just needed tightened and they took care of it. I am so thankful to have such a reliable place to go with such a wonderful and helpful staff! A special thank you to John and Steve, who are amazing!

I’ve gone to NTB the last couple years and was nervous after Mavis Tire took over that things would change, some functions have - like scheduling online doesn’t work. They’ve been more than accommodating though and have helped inspect and suggest meaningful repairs to my cars at a reasonable rate. I’m always nervous about being pushed services I don’t need and don’t understand, they’ve physically walked me to my car before to show me the issues and have kept it real with me. I appreciate that. The front guy Tom is very reasonable and helpful.

Barely made it there with an emergency flat tire, and they were so helpful and accommodating for a very stressful situation for me. I didn’t get the man’s name but he was extremely helpful and polite, even with being super busy and short staffed that day. I called and was surprised to get scheduled for later that day. Ryan got me all checked in and got my car in quick for inspection. Wasn't too long of a wait. No issues. They were all super nice. Will continue to come here. And will recommend to others. Great service!

Tom was amazing when I called to see if my tires were under warranty. I had a bolt in my tire and needed it patched right away. He said he’d take care of it and they did. I was in and out within a half hour. Their customer service was top notch along with their efficiency.

Has gone down hill since Mavis take over. More than doubled prices in some cases. Over torqued a lug nut so badly I could not physically remove it. Took it to another tire shop and they used 4 different tools to remove it!

Tom was beyond helpful. He was honest about what needed to be fixed after a poor experience at Jiffy Lube. This NTB location is my go to now for any tire and brake issues I may have.
