Oil changers on Shattuck, Oakland, CA. Awful! I needed less than a quart oil top off and he wanted to change $9. He won’t top off he I was over due for my oil change despite finding my care in the system and 11 years of oil changes. This is not my regular location. I willl never go back.

Pulled in and Service guy immediately said it's calling for full synthetic 129.99. I said okay I don't need synthetic my owners manual states conventional is fine so I want conventional. Guy just got pissed off and said he can only do what the computer allows him to put in the vehicle. Then looked at my mileage and said car is too new you dont need it yet. But i was actually over due by a couple 100 miles based on my owners manual. so I declined all services and left. They rather make no profit then a smaller profit. Lol

Yesh service was quick and good as usual. But not a single posted anywhere either in the shop or online. I guess you can just call. Anyways 1 service level at 107? At least when I went, instead of tablets or clipboard, everyone was using their cell phones. Haha I'm oldish but for me not a good look. The whole shop looked like they were on social media or maybe working but whi knows or cares lol just looks bad. I got a coupon and it was deducted but never got an receipt but looks right. Anyways still same guys with great service but less professional than before.

Fast, friendly, easy, thorough. Tech wasn't aware how the digital oil indicator on my car worked, both his and his supervisor researched my car model while doing the oil change and then walked through the annoyingly complicated button sequence to indicate oil level on my dashboard screen. Above and beyond.

They’ve changed management or ownership. Full synthetic went up $20 more and they no longer offer the customer discount card. You’d stamp each visit and the 4th visit you’d receive a percentage off. It’s ok now. I used to go out of my way to come here for my oil change but the environment is a bit different. I can’t put my finger on it.
