This excursion to the William Cannon Oil Changers was solely based on then operating on Sunday, as many oil change shops don’t. I’m thrilled that I went. The technician was kind, efficient and offered me a discount plus fuel additive for free! I was taken aback when he offered these things. In this day and age, a nice, no obligation gesture is a rarity! I’ll be back!!!

Had a great experience with them yesterday. I came in for routine maintenance and for my state inspection. Connor told me that their state inspection machine wasn’t working and, that if I needed my car in the next few hours, I should go down the street. I didn’t need my car immediately so I left it with them but I deeply appreciate his honesty and their desire to help me rather than just leave me in the dark. Connor was also very communicative about what needed to be done. He called me and updated me as soon as it was ready.

These guys were incredible. They got my car ready in no time at all and I barely had time to enjoy the comfort of their plush leather chairs. Self-effacing, down-to-earth, up-front, and several other hyphenated terms they are, says I! In all seriousness, very highly recommend.

I took a night to really determine whether to write a review, but this experience left a bad taste in my soul. First off... To Brian, THANK YOU SO MUCH - you were going out of your way to help me and this review is not because of you. The day before my appointment, Brian was very patient with me to get a part for my window. Brian and I made a friendly pact that I would be sure to meet him first thing in the morning. Keeping my promise, I arrive at the store to meet Connor, the Store Manager. I asked for Brian, but Connor informs me that, "Brian is not in today, sorry about that." I was quite surprised, as I made a pact with Brian -Brian also needed further information from me to retrieve the part (I missed his call the night before unfortunately). I asked Connor, "Is there anyone else that can order the part for me?" Connor's response "No, Brian is the only one that has access and won't be in until 9am tomorrow. I'm sorry for the inconvenience ma'am, he's OLD." (summarized) Not only was the Connor not willing to contact Brian to confirm our interaction, He also resorted to an ageist comment in an effort to redeem the matter. I was so appalled that I immediately retorted the misdeed of comparing a mismanaged appointment to someone's age! Though frustrated with the initial news of Brian's absence, I understand "things happen"; But whether intentionally or unintentionally I did not appreciate an employee being thrown under the bus for his age - it's unproductive and unfair. In hindsight, I took my car and by the time I made it all the way to work. I get a call from Connor, saying that Brian was on the way to the store and if I can come back Brian would be able to work on the car. However at that point, I didn't want to offer my business to someone who manages an establishment with no support of his own coworker. I don't understand the dynamic of relationships at the establishment, but I'm not supposed to. I just wanted my window fixed, and I finally had the money to do it after having to deal with a messed up window for a year and finally finding a place within my budget to do so. I have worked with the establishment before, but at this point - I won't be going back. I just wanted to share this because I thought it was very unfair to Brian, especially after he was so kind, patient, informative, and so willing to really help me.

Honestly I feel like the bad reviews were just occasional mess ups that busy companies get I went here after 5 other places told me the “inspector” left early bc it was a Sunday. So I was glad they helped me out . I was there for about 30 min .

I walked in recently for a state inspection and check up on any maintenance items. Wait time wasn’t too bad. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable. I liked that they didn’t try to upsell me any services, stating what was emergent versus what could wait, as well as, what would be helpful.

Yesterday I had my oil changed here. I do not know much about the car, it’s new to us and it is the first time getting its oil changed. In the course of asking a few basic questions I was told that, in that technician’s experience, the (synthetic) oil should be changed every 3,000 or so miles. In our previous vehicle we changed the synthetic oil every 10,000 miles without issue. I did a quick web search and learned that the manufacturer of this particular model of car had a recommended oil change at 7500-10,000 miles. This is a significant discrepancy – 3,000 miles versus 10,000. There were other technicians in the vicinity of our conversation, nobody offered an alternative or elaboration on his advice. The technician is an expert in this field, I am not. I cannot know the motivation for the discrepancy, but it feels like a deliberate misrepresentation or withholding of basic information. I expressed my confusion as I understood synthetic to be good for 10,000 miles, and he stood by his statement. This business prides itself on being trustworthy. But to deliberately misrepresent or withhold information harms my trust.

RUN!!! GO WHILE YOUR VEHICLE IS STILL RUNNING!!!!!!!! I wish I had better to say about this place, but I don’t. I brought my vehicle to get an inspection and an oil change, simple enough right??? When I arrived there was t anything wrong with my motor, as a matter of fact it was so quiet you could hardly tell it was running!!! immediately after leaving the place my engine started knocking and now (55 miles later) its so loud and sounds like it’s going to throw a rod!!!!!! At this point I have to have my engine replaced. Just to make things even more questionable my oil is thick, thick and dark black like it’s already due for a change but there’s only 55 miles driven SINCE the oil change!!!! . I spoke to them attempting to work this out, but they told me that it is not uncommon for your oil to be completely thick and black the way it is with only 55 friggin miles on it since changin the oil!!!! Absolutely absurd!!!! Also that it looks as if they actually did the oil change so they aren’t assuming ANY fault!!!!! I’m not sure exactly what happened when I brought my vehicle in to get an oil change and inspection but it definitely doesn’t seem like everything went off without a hitch!! the car is emulating a vehicle whose motor was run without oil for a short period of time. I say this because now my first piston (cylinder One) is completely frozen. After doing a pressure test and each one of the spark plug holes, there’s not a single pound of air, not a single bit of compression coming from this first cylinder!!!!! This just so happens to be the LAST piston to receive oil in the distribution process. IF you don’t prime your filter, then your motor does essentially run for a few seconds without any oil! This explains the engine knocking and cylinder one being frozen. At this point it’s sounding like it’s going to throw a rod so I cannot even drive the damn thing. But like I said, I’ve tried to communicate this to the management with absolutely no avail!!! Not to mention you know damn well they have a budget to fix peoples cars of whom they unintentionally screwed up. They’re telling me that they aren’t at fault whatsoever and that they are not going to fix it . I couldn’t be more upset and outraged! And I totally forgot to mention, but the $10 coupon that I initially had which brought me into their shop in the first place I was not allowed to use absolutely ridiculous!!!!! The management staff is very palatable while they’re screwing you over!!!!! At least there’s that LoL!! But seriously, what has been done to me at this place does not need to happen to anyone else. It is so hard just to get by these days, let alone someone trying to sabotage you and then won’t pay for the damn mess they made.!!!!! I’m going to put this on every friggin review spot every forum any and every place that oil changers has mentioned, you will see this comment because it is imperative that people know what could potentially happen to them and if it does how they gonna try to screw you!!!!!

This Location Is My FAVORITE Been Getting My Oil Changed Here For A While Now The Management Team Is Awesome Great Communication Skills I Also Love How The Workers Don’t Rush At Anything My Rating Is A 10/10.
