John and his mechanic’s are very helpful and understanding in prioritizing my needs for my 2006 Honda repairs. I have had my maintenance done by Japanese Auto Repair since 2007. I appreciate their mechanical expertise. My car is 18 years old and running great because of their repairs.

Excellent service. We actually bought a new Honda rather than some other car make because we want to continue to use Omaha Japanese Auto Repair as our mechanics. When you find a shop that provides excellent service and doesn't try to take advantage of you then you stick with them.

After finding out that my regular mechanic and the dealership couldn’t get to my car with the starter problem for two weeks, I took it here and was told best case scenario they’d have it the following day. At 3 o’clock that day he called and said the car was ready. I couldn’t believe it! The pricing was fair. John was great and friendly. I couldn’t be happier with the results!

I contacted John to get our 2012 Honda Pilot valves adjusted. Price was great and their website even had a $100 off for new customer. Made an appointment dropped off the car and is was completed the next day. The valves are much quieter now and the car is running great. Also they were very kind and sent a follow up letter in the mail about 2 weeks after they serviced our car. Would highly recommend Omaha Japanese Auto Repair to anyone with a Honda or another brand that they service.

They do exactly what I ask them to do, they don't pressure to do 'other stuff' not even on my list like most other places do. The prices are fair, the work is done in a timely fashion, and as I said they don't come back and tell me I need a bunch of other things done that are not even on my radar - unless they see an obvious problem that may cost more to fix later, in which case they just suggest to get whatever it is fixed in the future, but it is no 'pressure' at all.

Went in for a general safety inspection after purchasing a used MDX. Received a complete list of things that needed immediate attention and items that are recommended for future visits. Repairs were finished quickly and at a fair price. I will be returning in the future. UPDATE Jan 2024. MDX was sputtering and check engine light came on. Took it in to John at repair shop and found it needed spark plugs changed, valves adjusted, and good flushing/cleaning oil change. Car is back to running great and it has 249000 miles on it. Thanks!!!

I am so glad I discovered Omaha Japanese Auto repair for our Honda van. John provided prompt, accurate updates on the repair. The work performed was very professional at a fair price. Given the age of our van John even provided useful information on keeping it in great running order. If you own a Honda or Acura, this is the place to go.

I had a sudden engine light/failure on Friday evening and had my minivan towed to the shop. John was able to diagnose the problem (ignition coil), get me an estimate, and do the work fast. I really appreciate the text and email communication during the workday. Everything is explained well, and the paperwork is full of information on what was done and what is recommended.
