great experience - took the '88 f-150 I just bought off craigslist here for a post-purchase safety check & oil change. price was fair and the proprietor Dave gave a me a full rundown of what was going on with it, along with practical tips for what is worth fixing now vs 10k miles down the road. fast honest service - very pleased with my experience.

I just moved to SE Portland and still drove up here to get my car serviced. The place is fast, efficient, and honest. Trustworthy mechanics and kind people. Special shoutout to Zef, he's the man. He goes above and beyond, even when doing routine oil changes.

Second time here and received what I asked for, a basic oil change. The service tech did notice my coolant reservoir was empty and refilled it and without an upsell recommended I keep an eye on the situation. I am comfortable returning here for future services. Thanks OTGAS.

Quick, honest, and convenient oil changes every time. They also do car servicing, so I will go to them when I am due for my 90k maintenance schedule. Update Oct 2023 (2 years from initial post): I now go to On The Go Auto Services for everything - 90k servicing, replacing lights, tire and filter check, and of course oil changes. Every time I've been, Zeph is quick and courteous, and they have me out within 10 mins (except for 90k-type servicing). Every time I'm driving out, I think to myself, "thank goodness for this place!".

Very thankful to have found this spot! Everyone that i have interacted with here has been super friendly and helpful! Zack is the one usually doing the mechanic stuff and he is literally the best mechanic I have ever had. I mostly just come by every few months for an oil change but he always goes above and beyond and checks everything and even tops all my fluids off and fixes little things for me, checks all my tires air and everything and never tries to add costs. Literally the most thorough oil change you will ever get and he does it all singlehandedly in under 15 minutes!! He has definitely earned a loyal customer and I recommend this place to everyone I know in portland!!

My alternator went out and they had me back on the road in a very timely manner, within a day. Even after they said it might be a few days...where other shops had a repair time of 2 weeks or more. Great customer service, honest and to the point. I'll be having them do my regular vehicle maintenance from now on. Highly recommend these folks!
