I must say jimmy and his staff generated nothing but integrity & professionalism, jimmy treated my car with care like it was his. They told me what the problem was and they fixed it. My vehicle is running extremely better and I’m locked in with jimmy and the crew for now on. Iv told my entire family & facebook friends about this place. I recommend Ortega 100 percent.

Very very friendly, resourceful, and knowledgeable about electric brakes ,rotors and the motors that connected toy brakes ....got me in and out, while I watched a Christmas movie and passed the time... Would 💯 % recommend.... Will return!!!

Jimmy and his team are courteous, fast and skilled auto technicians. They assembled as a team to complete my engine mount installation in record time. This repair is documented at 8 hours labor to which they completed it in about 3 hours as a team and it was a top quality repair upon my inspection. They come highly recommended for any of your car repair needs. Good mechanics are hard to find. The team at Ortega have won a new customer. Keep up the good work.

I was very pleased with my service here at Ortegas auto repair. Not only did the job come out affordable it was also of great quality with my car running smoother than before. I came in with concern with my steering column on my Hyundai sonata and it was fixed in less than 3 hours at a very reasonable rate with the cost of labor and parts included. Before I called for a quote, I had called other shops and the moment those mechanics heard a women calling they all tried to give me unreasonable prices as that’s not what those costs should have been. After much thought, I thought of Ortega Auto repair, right at the heart of our east side community and they went above and beyond with my vehicle and the repairs. When I say my car is running so much better now, it truly is. I’m impressed and will be coming back, as I look for affordable yet effective qualitative car services when shopping around. Thank you to the owner Jimmy, you superceded with my car as you mentioned you felt confident with the work needing to be done and you did just that!

Love this place! My daughter took a few of her cars here over the years and recommended it 2 me. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and explained what my car needed in detail. My car runs like a brand new car even though it's 2012!! Would recommend and I will continue to bring my car here for any repairs in the future.

I had an unfortunate event where my original mechanic broke a bolt as they were replacing my catalytic converter. This made me need to reach out to a different auto repair business. Thankfully, Ortega had some bandwidth to assist me. Jimmy was exceptional in getting me back up and running quickly but safely, when it was determined that my major problem was my transmission. A thorough diagnosis was conducted without further cost. Jimmy continued to stay in contact with me throughout the entire process. He even had my car washed for me before I picked it up. THAT is stellar customer service and I now have a new auto repair business going forward. Additionally, each person I had an encounter with was kind, patient, and understanding. Rock with Ortega, you will not be disappointed!

If you're looking for a mechanic that does the work properly and won't charge you double on labor this is the place. Everything Elvis has done on my a avalon has been done right and everything is returned if you want it. Also some of the fastest turn around outside of doing your own work.

Very friendly customer service. I got my muffler fixed. They were able to fit me in and I appreciate it because my gas wasn’t holding like it was suppose too. Check them out! Don’t sleep on this company !!!
