I had an amazing experience at Otto’s Tire And European Auto Repair! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. They took the time to explain everything to me in detail, which I truly appreciated. As a woman, it’s not always easy to find a trustworthy and caring mechanic, but the owner and the team made me feel completely at ease. Their prices are very reasonable, and they don’t overcharge like other places. They use the best oil and provide top-notch service for European cars. The level of care and professionalism here is unmatched. I’m so happy I found them—this will be my go-to place for all my car needs from now on. Highly recommend!

Had a problem with a burning smell coming from the AC in my Mercedes GLA, they were able to diagnose and fix the problem in 3.5 days even though they were super busy and did an oil change for $3 on top of that! Half the time as the dealership said it would take and a super reasonable price. They were very communicable sending us pictures at every step of the fix and didn’t move forward until they had approval on everything.

This is the best auto shop that I have ever been to. I have lived in 5 different states, DC, and there has never been an experience better than the service that I received at Otto’s - from the quality of work, pricing, consistent communication, prompt timing, etc. They went far above and beyond to accommodate extremely complicated, severe rodent damage to the entire electrical system. All of the communication with insurance was handled seamlessly by the team that even detail cleaned the car prior to pickup. The biggest difference from your average shop - Otto, office manager and the rest of the team genuinely care about YOU. This shows through their extremely high quality work at great prices while being extremely transparent. If you live in the LA area and have a European vehicle, Otto’s is hands down the only place to have the vehicle taken care of.

This place is amazing! I’ve already come here twice to get work done on my car and I’m always amazed at how fast and efficient they are. I was quoted almost 2 weeks for a huge repair I needed on my car at my dealership and Otto was able to do it in just 5 hrs. He also honest about pricing and where I can save money, whereas my dealership will always overcharge me. The staff here is also so friendly and I will definitely continue to use Otto for any of my car repairs. Can’t say enough great things about this place!

I recently took my Audi to Otto for some repairs, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The owner was incredibly nice, honest, and transparent about the entire process. One thing that really stood out was how well he explained the repairs to me, making sure I fully understood what needed to be done. As a woman, it’s not always easy to find a mechanic who takes the time to explain but he made me feel completely comfortable and informed. Took my Chevy Colorado here and it was really banged up, they fixed it in just a few days. One of the mechanics his name was Randy was very helpful with the process. The way they keep you updated and tell you what’s wrong with your car is a lot of help as well. Definitely going back and recommend everyone and anyone to go there.

Ottto and the staff were immensely helpful in repairing my daughter's FIAT 500. They are honest and work hard to make sure they try to fix the problem as inexpensively as possible. Thank you Otto! He has fixed 2 serious issues on separate occasions and is the mechanic to go! Our mechanic in LA!

Very professional folks and I never feel like I’m being taken advantage of. Their prices are fair and they never try to upsell. They found an issue with my car during a routine maintenance and flagged for me that it might be covered by an extended warranty from VW. Even offered to call up the dealership to verify for me. They have earned my trust and I will not be taking my car anywhere else as long as I’m in LA.

I brought my car to the shop on Friday , due to a tire pressure issue and found a nail in it. their attitude really polite. I left my car and key with them for about 20 minutes, and after they fixed the problem, I noticed that the leather on my driver seat had peeled off. This is a new car.

I've taken My 2013 fiat to many mechanics in the neighbor to fix my check engine light. And Otto's was the only place to fix it quicker and with less hassle then the other places. He even kept in contact with me before trouble shooting certain issues so that there was no surprises on the bill, unlike other places. I even like that they called me to check in and see how the car was driving and if it passed inspection. from here on out, my car will only be going to otto's

I’ve been taking all my cars here since I got my first BMW 10 years ago. I bought a broken down GL450 in 2020 and Vicente got it up and running like new. Now almost 5 years later I made it up from LA to Washington without any issues. Honest and honorable work! Thanks Vicente and the team!

On my first visit, I came in to get an estimate for issues with my 3.2L VR6 engine, which had lost power and triggered a CEL, requiring serious work. They provided a thorough estimate for the timing chain replacement. The team here is amazing, and special thanks to Otto for fine-tuning and curating such an outstanding mechanic shop just a few blocks from the heart of LA. Their prices are unmatched—honest, straightforward, and the best in town. The work took a few days, and now my car runs like it's brand new, straight from the factory!
