I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. It's fully worth the drive, Russ is knowledgeable, friendly, and does what he says he will do! It gives such peace of mind to know that if something goes wrong with my car, I know I can bring it to Oxmoor Automotive for friendly and affordable service, where they really care about the quality of their work. Russ and Oxmoor Automotive are the best.

I've been seeing Russ for about 4 years now for my Volvo S40. He is very knowledgeable about Volvos and is always upfront and honest about what the issues are. He walks me through what is necessary to fix and what I can wait on. I've been very happy with Oxmoor Automotive and would recommend this business to anyone with a Volvo.

Very rude really he was a big jerk very rude to me and said he would not touch my car that I had to mabey hands on it. And only one person work on it.

Amazing! Bought a Volvo at a lower price to get me around, They literally transformed and repair this car to pretty much perfect! I now want to keep it for a while, and no one else will touch this car besides them while I'm here in the Birmingham area!

Probably the best experience I have ever had with any mechanic shop. They took me in on short notice and really helped me out with diagnosing the problem with my car. Russ and all the guys there are all lovely and very professional. I would go back anytime I had a problem and was in Birmingham.

Great shop for our Volvo XC90. There seems to be a shortage of auto repair places that will work on Volvo in BHM. There is one in town but they wanted to charge me several thousand dollars for a repair I didn't need. I came to Oxmoor and they took care of our vehicle for a few hundred. I own several Volvos and plan to use this shop for other repairs. I highly recommend them.

Russ and Stephen serviced my '02 BMW 325i for 10 of the 14 years I had her. Professional, friendly, honest, knowledgeable... thee best customer service. Willing to answer all questions and they don't act bothered by them. The only reason they aren't currently my mechanics is bc I now own a make/model that they don't service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thank you guys for all the good service you gave my girl!

I've taken 5 different Volvos to Russ at Oxmoor Automotive for over 15 years. No one in BHM is more trustworthy or knowledgeable about Volvos. Super easy to deal with as well.

Russ has done all of the work on my wife's Volvo XC60 for years now. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking to work with a great, trustworthy, and all around nice guy. We have had oil changes, small repairs, and also large repairs done at Oxmoor Automotive, and I couldn't think of anyone other than Russ that I would want to work on my vehicles.

Steven is Great! The car's starter went out my daughter's car and wouldn't start. AAA towed it to a AAA approved service center that did not work on BMWs. Ah, good lesson there. That shop recommended Steven at Oxmoor Automotive. I had previously looked for shops that work on BMWs and this one did not come up but I'm in Atlanta so with this recommendation, decided to give it a go. Steven was professional, had the issue analyzed and starter replaced in a 4 hour period at a great price. Thank you. We know we'll be back when something else comes up.

Would highly recommend these guys to anyone in Birmingham, or are passing through, with a Volvo. They know their stuff and are very straightforward and honest. Wish I lived here so they could be my mechanics full time.
